I also ordered food for my family, and it was their first time trying Roaming Rooster. Everyone loved it! It's always nice introducing people to a place that lives up to the hype, and this was definitely one of those times. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly, and our food came out fresh and made to order. I've eaten at Roaming Rooster several times over the years, and they've consistently delivered great food and a great experience. The menu is diverse and makes you wonder which of the ethnic cuisines they are most dedicated to when it comes to quality and authenticity. I've only experienced the Peruvian-influenced dishes which are consistent and delicious. In general, those items are what you'd expect from similar Peruvian-style restaurants in the DMV. After a few visits it is safe to say this place serves good charbroiled chicken. Their green sauce is delicious and similar to the original green sauce from Sardi's when they first hit the scene in PG County. One of these days I will try the chicken wings and tacos.
