So I decided to try this after going to Fusion often in the downtown section. The dinner buffet is 12.99 per person during the dinner hour on Friday. There were eight varieties for vegetarian and meet options. The foods are labeled but if you do not know what he foods are it's hard to tell what is vegetarian or meat or pescatarian. I did see the goat, the chicken, butter chicken. Some paneer stuff (I'm not an Indian food name expert). Na'an is not available at the buffet area, its served at the table in baskets with wax paper lining. I found the na'an doughy, on the greasy side. I found out this location makes it different adding less yeast and baking soda giving it a different texture. There were four kinds of desserts. There were four ice cream options and a salad bar. We happened upon this spot whilst driving through Cambridge. Opted for the dinner buffet for $12.99 per person. Good value for money. Very busy location ! Both vegetarian and meat friendly options with salad buffet and dessert. Only comment would be the tidiness needs a touch more attention. Rating if I could make it up: 7 stars for food, 1 for service. First impression is a very clean little place, but nothing fancy. Also notable - most other diners were also Indian, which is a very good sign! At 12.99 you can't beat the price here. Best butter chicken I've had so far - and everything else to choose from was wonderful as well. The Naan is cooked fresh and brought to you, well worth the wait, which was long. They had one waitress on a busy Sat Night. It took her some time to bring water, even longer to bring Naan and she had to be reminded repeatedly for water refills which I never got. My general experience with buffets in the past is the food is par at best, this place exceeded that! Staff first off are super friendly. Now the amount of items at the buffet available is less compared to a traditional buffet, but sometimes less items is better in terms of the quality of food. Curries were delicious especially the butter chicken, the channa, mix vegetable and the daal. Naan was so soft! We also loaded up on some ras malai, kheer and mango ice cream! For $12.99 all you can eat, that's pretty reasonable! Instead of the buffet if you'd like some take out, there is that option too. Bonus for you if you would like some liquor with your lunch or dinner, they serve beer! My stomach feels like a boulder... This place was great. Comparable to the amazing places on Gerard street in TO. When I went there was about 5 vegetarian options and 7 meat options. The goat was very nice and tender! Theres also a salad bar and dessert bar. Both were good. My only comments would be on the ice cream. The ice cream had freezer burn and the freezer the ice cream was in needed some cleaning. My wife and I tried the buffet option . From my experiences at Indian buffets I have found the food to be lacklustre in flavour, poor ingredients and often cold . That certainly wasn't the case here ! Upon entering we were greeted by friendly staff . We tried all the dishes offered at the buffet and found them all enjoyable . I have had Lunch at Indian Buffets from Portland and Seattle, to Vancouver Island and all across the US and Canada, I love Indian Food. Lately while in Ontario, I had stooped going to them, as I am Vision Impaired/Blind with my Guide/Service Dog Wapasha. and yes here in Ontario we have access rights, but I had become weary of explaining to owners why they did not want me to call the Police, and then answer to the Ontario Human Rights Commission and Tribunal. But I conquered my worries, and went in, I was Hungry, and I do love Indian Food..........Wow what a surprise, This is perhaps the Best one I have had lunch at in many years! I came here a few times, after leaving a terrible review the first time and you know what? I'm glad I did because the food here, is actually pretty good. I love Indian food and considering I have been to lots of Indian cuisines, I am a bit picky when it comes to the Indian food flavours. I want to be wowed, everytime I have Indian food because that's what it literally is.. Indian food is a Party in your mouth and it needs to be Good! Mandatory! Or else, no. They stepped up and now I come here at least once every 2-3 months! Affordable buffet, for good quality food. The variety isn't that great, so if your expecting even Half of the menu, it's not happening here (That's the only con).. The customer service is good here as well. I love the Goat / Beef Curry! The butter chicken doesn't have that coconut taste anymore, it actually tastes better! If you ask for fresh naan, they bring it to the table almost immediately and the drinking menu is alright. I highly recommend this place and I am so sorry, for leaving a bad review the first time but it was You, who made me regret it and changed my mind.. Therefore, I highly recommend this place. I'm still scared to touch the Galab Jumon because they serve it cold here, invest in a heater for the Galab Jumon dessert please (it's my favorite) and it's the Only thing I don't eat from here because of the cold serving! This is the worst Indian place I've been to.. I got there after 12, the selection is tiny and the food I put on my plate was barely warm. I barely ate anything and they still charged me full price.
