Cambridge mill was a very nice upscale restaurant. It's located over a beautiful scenery with nice spots to take pictures. The interior is very clean and the filled with windows to overlook the water. The service was amazing, everyone was kind and welcoming with a positive attitude. The food was also very delicious with lots of flavour and it was al presented beautifully.

We love their half-priced oysters on Thursdays, and try to schedule our travel to and from Cambridge to ensure we are there on Thursdays. Their food is awesome and their specials truly are. Their service is perfect, friendly, helpful, and professional. Their view and atmosphere are awesome. This is a classy and top notch place to eat. If you haven't eaten here, you have passed on the best place in town.

Came here for my sisters birthday and enjoyed the food a lot. There a great selection of hot and cold dishes to choose from and the price includes all you can drink ceasars. If you're in the area, definitely a must try and you get brunch with a view!

Absolutely stunning restaurant! We book this place last minute for Friday night and we were lucky to get a table for 6 on their patio for 8:15pm. It's a little late but given that we were only in the area for 1 night, we decided to go ahead with a late dinner. This upscale restaurant is situated right next to the grand river so you should try to make reservations for a table with the river view. Perfect place to celebrate for a special occasion. We had the mussels to start which was so fresh and tasty. For our mains, we had the poached salmon and pork belly. Both dishes were very well prepared. The poached salmon was prepared nicely topped with pickled onions and capers...so flavourful. Their menu may change from time to time so I'm not sure if this dish is a regular menu item. If we are visiting this area again, we will definitely be back.

Roasted cauliflower with sweet potato tagine (2/5) - WAYYYY too spicy and heavy on the paprika. Could've been a lot more balanced

Great views and atmosphere with VERY subpar food. The service seemed a bit frazzled and disorganized too, the waiter kept coming back and saying some things weren't available and not getting the daily special of the day totally right. We tried their: -Duck Confit flatbread (4/5) -10oz beef strip loin (4/5), juicy and tasty -Pan seared salmon (3/5), cook on it was PERFECTION but the fish itself tasted really fish and not very fresh -Lamb saddle (3/5), came with a lamb tagine (kind of like a side dish stew) -Roasted Cauliflower (1.5/5), EXTREMELY spicy (and I can handle my spice) and heavy on the smoky spices. Needs more yogurt and just more balance to the dish. I'd save my money next time and try fine dining elsewhere, but I wouldn't mind coming back to enjoy the atmosphere.

Came here for a wedding reception! The atmosphere was cozy and warm. I did not know that this is actually a restaurant until we arrived. I think that this truly sets it apart from other venues I have previously visited. The food comes from the same kitchen and it really made it special when a server came out to ask which dish we wanted. The selection was made at our table as opposed to during our RSVP. I think the added touch of this venue being a restaurant is that you could choose how rare or well done your steak is. This was the first wedding I could order medium steak! I really appreciated that and was happy that my steak was not super dry for once!

Hello Yelpers, I'm back. Well I've been to a few restaurants but never posted a review. Wait that's a lie. Small amount of restaurants but the rest was ordered via mobile app as I'm iffy to sit in a restaurant. Anyways, I bring to you Cambridge Mill. I was here years ago with my ex. I wanted to come back an try their Sunday Brunch buffet however, with COVID, it's a Norma brunch menu, no buffet :( For starters we got the Mushroom toast. The toast had wild mushrooms, ricotta, and confit garlic. The toast was too hard for me but the smoothness of the toppings helped the toast be more bearable to chew on. I ordered a Reuben. This consist of a Montreal smoked brisket with white cheddar and pickled cabbage and mustard served with either fries or a salad. I opted for a salad which was dressed with a light vinaigrette. My friend ordered the Duck Confit Benny. Meh told me it is not for him because the duck was too fatty.the fish came with hollandaise sauce and We did also share the banana load French toast. It is served with blueberry compote, whipped cream cheese and candies almonds. The almonds weren't too sweet at all. This was my Favourite dish. Overall, the service was great. The waitress was attentive in ensuring our cups were always full of water. Also really like the complimentary champagne. Highly recommend going to this restaurant

Great breakfast brunch with a great view . Food items are fresh as long as you are there early towards the end of the brunch items run out fast . They have all you can eat Oysters that's great but they have one person opening them and theres a long wait so you wait for 4 and move on because you feel bad for everyone else waiting the wait can be long of oysters. So if oysters are your thing you will be waiting for a while . Go early so you can get fresh food or the end of a roast . If you dont like Oysters or crab legs this place is over priced.

Went here for lunch on a Saturday, fairly crowded with a few weddings going on. I'd say you're mostly paying for the beautiful water view and the interior. Our server was friendly and checked in with us however, with a party of 8 it took around an hour for our food to come out, which is pretty long. I ordered the burger ($22) and in my opinion it lacked flavour and the bun didn't go with the rest of the ingredients. Some of the fries were a little too hard as well. I would expect more given the price point. Others at my table got other meals however, their portions were smaller. Overall i'd visit mostly just for the view.

I have an indifferent opinion to Peter M.'s review, this is a very independent hole in the wall…read morediner, offering one lady servicing all the tables in the restaurant. (Peter M you're a great person- I just don't agree with you =) ) To be very frank many breakfast places are overrun by chain restaurants and Toasters is one of the few locations that are non-franchised with pretty affordable options. For $6 you can get two eggs, toast (rye, brown or white with jam and butter) and homemade hash. Add $1.50 and you have meat added on the breakfast. Let me just remind you this is pandemic rates! And looking at Peter M.'S review on price from 6 years ago- it hasn't moved to much! Even when egg princes have moved from $2/dozen to $4-5/dozen. I stopped in for a meeting and often passed this place but never visited. It's situated at the end of Eagle, just after it changes from Pinebush. The humble diner is situated next to gas station. The parking lot is beaten with faded paint lines and a old fashion sign tells you it's a diner. When you enter, you walk right into the middle of the restaurant where the one server can see you and seat you immediately. What's nice is that the place has about a dozen of tables, a little snug for trollers and walkers but workable. It's just one server for ALL the tables and she was scurrying through. When I arrived 3min late for my meeting, I could see my client waving me in the window- I did not need to go through a whole pack of "security guard " waitresses to get to my table- it's a townie type of vibe. The interior is dated with tables that are functional. You can see the paint slapped on the edge of the black paint, likely to cover the cute messages teenagers left over the years. The chairs are old fashion but not restrictive to your size- you could be plus size and still get your bum into the seats. The portion for two eggs, toast, hash and three pieces of sausage for $7.50 was the same size as the $12 grand slam at Denny's. So it's gigantic. So if you're a little eater, $6 is plenty. What I like is if you ask for something to take away, the server is immediate to substitute it to not rob you of an item. During my dine- I was asked asked how my meal was while coffee was topped off for the other people at the table, and it was a quick hurry in and out as the server navigated around the strollers from the next table, the cute boyfriend and girlfriend and the young at heart friends sitting nearby. I arrived at 9am, bill was paid at 10am, we still meeting chatted right until 10:30am. I'm pretty sure if you had 30min it was possible to be in and out. Truly a hidden gem and for anyone who wants some small time vibe I will definitely return. I used to be a regular at the Fifties but somehow they seem to be some busy, loud and hiked their prices. This place is quant and I can get a nice meeting in, chat about life and the big plans to make it through 2023. Check this place out if you want small time vibes and more. It echos a lovely breakfast place in st. Jacobs but with better prices and fantastic service.
