Do not stay here. They will double charge your credit card. Place smells horrible too.

The motel was good for a one night stay. Basic and clean. Clean is the most important! Older but updated features.

Brendan (and the rest of the guys) in valet deserve a mention as well--professional, friendly, and consistently helpful. The location is a big reason this is my go-to downtown spot. It's not right on the highway, which keeps things quieter, but you can get anywhere quickly thanks to its easy access to major roads and walkable surroundings. Parking is valet-only at $40 per night. While there are nearby self-park options (not operated by the hotel) the convenience of valet here makes it worth it. As expected with Homewood Suites, the rooms are spacious and thoughtfully equipped. I stayed in a corner suite, and it was impressively large, with tons of windows showcasing city views and western sunsets. The bathroom was a bit on the smaller side but perfectly functional. The bed was comfortable, climate control worked well, and having a ceiling fan in the bedroom was a nice bonus. The living area had plenty of seating, along with a dining table and a full kitchen with a full-size fridge. Soundproofing was solid overall--I'm a light sleeper and had minimal issues with city noise. We did hear some heavy footsteps and door slamming from guests above a few nights, but the hotel addressed it. The hotel also offers a complimentary shuttle within a mile radius--something I didn't use this time but would consider on a future visit. Breakfast was a highlight, with options like burrito and waffle stations. The chia pudding was especially great--and a nice vegan option. Overall, this hotel checks all the boxes for me: affordable, spacious, well-located, and staffed by people who truly make a difference. I'll definitely be back.

Looks like this hotell went through updating everything in the last few years. Every member of the staff we interacted with was friendly. The complimentary breakfast in the morning had many different selections including cereal, eggs, hash browns, a waffle station, bagels, scones, and even the fixings to make your own breakfast burritos. This hotel is a little hard to find as the road it is on looks more like a driveway, I only mention this to help others find it.

Why did I book this hotel for $271, again? So I get it, I have a large family with four children and it is quite a job finding accommodations that supply enough beds for us. Hence why I booked online a month ago. I'm a very thorough individual. However, when I saw the clientele there it scared me. Check in was a breeze and the woman was very kind and accommodating. She answered all of my questions and supplied any additional items(ie, sheets for the sofa bed) that I needed. I wasn't too scared when i saw the room, it seemed clean enough if not a little beat up. Both the front and bathroom doors did not properly close and you really had to pull at them in order to fully open or close. The bathroom contained pump supplies for cleansing, but I never can trust them. There were locks on their holders, but you never know.... The beds were respectable and we were all able to sleep. The gym is open 24 hours, so that's a plus! However, it is a super small gym. Clean, but small. The pool is also rather small. Oh well. What really bothered me was the free breakfast. It contained the usual: bagels, yogurt, and bars. There were also biscuits with SAUSAGE gravy, frittata with cheese and HAM, SAUSAGE links, and overdone cinnamon rolls. Why does every item need to include meat? All people can eat meatless items, but not everyone can eat meat items! I will never understand this concept. Their one saving grace was the pancake maker that fifty billion other consumers waited to use. The children enjoyed those. Overall, way overpriced for what was being offered. As others mentioned, it seemed more like a hangout for locals. The establishment could definitely use some upgrades.

If ever there is a lesson in "you get what you pay for", this is it. If you enjoy the comforts of…read moreyour grandmothers basement - with the dated and worn decor, and the wafting scents of mildew and sorrow - then this hotel is perfect for you. The room has a bed, a TV and a table. The decor has that effortless charm of donated Goodwill furniture and a splash of "we literally gave zero effort" chic. The bathroom reminds me of a time 10 years ago when I bought a remodel how-to book from Home Depot and decided it would be a great idea if I attempted to tile my bathroom. The shower experience can only be described as "psychotic" and "bipolar". The free breakfast is held in what feels like the locker room of a YMCA, complete with mismatching plastic patio furniture and durable turf carpet. The "food" consisted of stale mini muffins, bagels, sour waffles and coffee presumably retrieved from a gas station in the 1970s. The grounds are spacious and meticulously kept to maintain a wild and natural look. The buildings themselves are nestled on top of a few hills overlooking fields of tall grass; which is easily the highlight of the compound. But on the plus side, if you've ever wondered what it might be like to live in North Korea, then this has to be the closest replication in North America. If I came here expecting something more like a summer camp cabin, I would have had a better perspective, so keep that in mind when you read other reviews that inexplicably find this establishment worthy of anything over 2 stars.

I have seen multiple deer, birds and even a cute little red fox on the grounds. The pool is amazing with spectacular views.
