Place is not clean, not safe and understaffed. Staff was friendly but not especially helpful. Wouldn't want my dog there .

This review is about the quality of dining available at the Atria Senior Residence dining room…read more Since I first came to Atria, the number of vegetarian and plant-based protein items available has expanded noticeably. The lunch offering today is an example. Grated carrot and ginger croquettes, seared with Panko, accompanied by a refreshing yogurt and green pea purée. was a delight for the senses. Nnestled in a bed of fresh arugula, was a beet salad tasting only of the bright flavor of root-grown vegetables and garnished with freshly shaved goat cheese. This dish was delightful and welcomed and encouraging. I'm looking forward to more plant-based offerings. If

It's a beautiful facility and very comfortable. I would have given five stars had it not been for the food. People eat three meals a day 7 days a week here. The menu hasn't really been substantially changed in two years, maybe more. Although the service staff is amazing, the food... sucks. I mean whoever is running the purchasing division just gave up. Profits before quality! Even among the aged residents, it's a joke Food is really all these wealthy folks can look forward to. They're paying a small fortune to be here and the least Atria could do is offer delicious high quality food with a seasonal menu. The food is bad enough to not send your loved ones to live here. I am sure it's a corporate thing, not because of the staff or local management. Give the resident what they pay for...great food and I'll give you FIVE stars. Update: They have a new F and B Director who seems to be very interested n fixing the problems with the food. I'd be remiss if i didn't mention staff such as Michelle, Nancy, Eva, Kayce, and Patty for the great care my loved ones receive.

Hometown America and Oakpoint DO NOT follow thru with paid services…read more you pay for them monthly yet snow sometimes takes days to clear out, lawn cutting is horrible, when they do come they run thru it leaving uneven lawns. They DO NOT respond to calls or concerns. you are left fighting to get the services you pay for each month. dont believe the sales pitch.

Oak Point offers fantastic amenities. There are three swimming pools, two hot tubs, tennis courts, a basketball gym, fitness center and billiard tables. The social director is top notch. There are plenty of activities, including concerts, dances, comedy shows, karaoke, line dancing and bingo. There are also many clubs, including a classic car club, writing club, garden club, women's club, singles club....and many, many more. Many Oak Point residents volunteer in the community and raise money for local charities and causes. For example, the Oak Point Homeowners Scholarship Association hosts an enormous yard sale every year to raise money for college scholarships for Middleboro HS graduating seniors. The landlord, Hometown America, has been stepping up its game recently. For example, the snow removal and landscaping have improved. There are still some issues, so be sure to hire a home inspector and insist he checks under the home, where some homes have had water and other issues. The monthly fee includes property taxes, trash pickup, landscaping, snow removal, sewage treatment and use of the enormous clubhouse. Oak Point is an excellent value and a wonderful, albeit imperfect, community.
