Okay, I'll admit that Town Center at Boca Raton is not as bad as I first thought it was. I may not be coming here blowing my money, but I have been visiting a couple of stores a bit more frequently and there are a few more that have my interest to check out. There are new stores and restaurants opening soon at Town Center at Boca Raton with new stores including Christian Louboutin already open for business. Here's to many more visits.

Us gals made our way to MAC and the guys went to Starbucks to get all our drinks. Mizner Park is a family favorite in our house. We love going down here, especially on days where we…read morewant to do something outdoors, but we can't all agree on what the activity should be. Mizner kind of checks the boxes for a variety of interests. It's a great place to walk around, people watch, eat, drink, get coffee, see a movie, bowl and do some shopping. They really do have it all. The plaza is beautiful, it kind of reminds me of a European boulevard, with all kinds of landscaping, fountains and eye catching decorations along the way. They even put in a gigantic garden chess set, which believe it or not, gets a lot of use. I also have to mention Mizner Park Amphitheater at the end of the street, which hosts a variety of events throughout the year, some free and some tickered big name acts. And when they have something going on they usually have a ton of food trucks and sometimes a community market as well. In 2025 they actually had Weezer play there which was totally awesome and a great time. Overall this is not just a great spot, it's a fantastic Community asset. Absolutely love it, five stars.

There is a variety of parking options at Mizner Park. Free parking is available at garages A-D, follow the signs. Metered parking is available along the streets and in front of businesses, with a 4-hour maximum limit. Metered rates are $2 per hour. Valet parking is available in specific locations (beside the main fountain, IPIC theater, and Eddie V's) for a fee. I found it interesting to walk throughout the park. In my opinion, it has a slight similarity to Dania Pointe, but with more of a ritzy vibe. I'm looking forward to more visits.

Garden Shops is anchored by a Publix supermarket. Other businesses include The UPS Store, Massage Envy, Publix Super Market, Jersey Mike's Subs, West Boca Medical Center, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Menchies' Yogurt, Bank of America, Starbucks, and Fifth Third Bank. One of my favorite businesses is the new Skillets serving breakfast and lunch. There is a good mix of shopping, dining, and services. The property was built in 1985 but it was completely remodeled in 2010 when it was enhanced with a large Publix and a bougainvillea pergola with benches. A set of pillars signals your arrival into the plaza. It looks to be of the type of well manicured shopping centers you would expect to find in Boca Raton.

My favorite is Twenty-Twenty, but as they weren't open for lunch we ended up at Biergarten where I had a Veal Schnitzel that was exceptionally good and my partner had a Biergarten Burger that he really enjoyed. I've been to a number of other places here too. All of them have proved to be very good with polite friendly service. But what I like best about Royal Palm Place is that it is super clean and very safe.

University Commons was built in 2001 on 22.4 acres leased from FAU. The plaza is anchored by a very nice Whole Foods which is one of the most visited in the whole country. I have been to this plaza many times throughout the years whether it was taking my daughter when she was a toddler to mommy and me play date at Barnes and Nobles, grocery shopping at Whole Foods, enjoying a quick meal at Shake Shack, or grabbing smoothies from Jamba Juice. The plaza has a large number of places to eat and it is the first place I think to go for a dinner before a Cinemark Plaza. It is hard to find a book store these days so it's especially nice that they still have the two story Barnes and Nobles where you can grab the latest best seller and a cup of coffee from the in house Starbucks. The plaza still looks as nice as the day it was built. The parking is a little wonky but there is plenty of it. If you're unable to find parking, there's a free 3-level parking garage on the north side. There is also a 1-3 bedroom residential apartment building behind the shopping center offering community amenities and select home features. There is a lot of traffic going in and coming out of Uptown Boca. For my second time being here, it appears to be a very nice area to come to shop, dine, and socialize.
