Garden Shops is anchored by a Publix supermarket. Other businesses include The UPS Store, Massage Envy, Publix Super Market, Jersey Mike's Subs, West Boca Medical Center, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Menchies' Yogurt, Bank of America, Starbucks, and Fifth Third Bank. One of my favorite businesses is the new Skillets serving breakfast and lunch. There is a good mix of shopping, dining, and services. The property was built in 1985 but it was completely remodeled in 2010 when it was enhanced with a large Publix and a bougainvillea pergola with benches. A set of pillars signals your arrival into the plaza. It looks to be of the type of well manicured shopping centers you would expect to find in Boca Raton.

Okay, I'll admit that Town Center at Boca Raton is not as bad as I first thought it was. I may not be coming here blowing my money, but I have been visiting a couple of stores a bit more frequently and there are a few more that have my interest to check out. There are new stores and restaurants opening soon at Town Center at Boca Raton with new stores including Christian Louboutin already open for business. Here's to many more visits.

We always park in the garage by Macy's in case it rains there's a covered walkway. Perfume staff were highly attentive trying to make a sale. Us gals made our way to MAC and the guys went to Starbucks to get all our drinks. It had a been a while since I'd been here so it was nice to walk through and see all the remaining stores and new ones.

Starbucks is here too, this one doesn't have a drive thru but it's a really nice location. My friend goes to Clint Moore Barber Shop and he loves that they have Sunday hours. Restaurants galore; Greek, Italian, Bagels, Hibachi, Sushi and my personal favorite, Ben's Deli. There used to be a BBQ place I liked but they went out of business a long time ago. I am sure I am missing a few but don't worry since there is something here for everyone. There is a pet store but I haven't stopped in. Tri-County animal shelter is just a few minutes away, just saying. My motto is adopt don't shop. The plaza is large and parking is plentiful so grab some coffee, run into Publix or enjoy a nice meal. Either breakfast, lunch or dinner, you just have so many options here. Ben's is perfect for both lunch and dinner and so is the Greek restaurant. Takeout is always an option too. It's considered a combination shopping, dining and entertainment destination and one of the newer ones in Delray. It's got a plethora of stores and about 9 restaurants as well as places for yogurt, chocolates, and candies. Some of the restaurants like Burt's have been there since it opened. And some (like Terra) are newer. A few favorites have closed, but there's always something to see while strolling the easily walkable center. At the northern end, is the movie theater and entertainment center with bowling and arcade games, etc. We had stopped for dinner with friends at Batch and then enjoyed strolling and exploring. It was a lovely comfortable night to be out and about. And a lot of other folks agreed.

The Publix was clean and decent parking with great Lagunitas craft beer BOGO deals today and also got FL Lotto tickets too. My wife shopped hard in the G Marie for a while. The Stella Pizzeria that I wanted to try was not open today until 4pm - bummer, but will return next week for a slice.

At first their inventory was made up of there own items but now everything they sell is donated. I love their mission which is to help animals. The Shed Thrift is a nonprofit that donates its proceeds to various veterinary hospitals in the area to support people on social security or limited income who need life-saving surgeries for their pets. I collect vintage pieces and Shed Thrift had some items like a chandelier and a set of glasses. They also had furniture, appliances, bikes, guitars, household goods, collectibles, books, movie, CD's, clothing, accessories, and more. With the influence of DIY shows showcasing recycling and re-purposing, thrifting is more popular than ever. Thrift stores help people save money and keep items out of the landfill. Shed Thrift has some unique items like a jukebox that you didn't typically see in the local area thrift stores. With their mission to help vulnerable pets, this store is an assist to Coral Springs.

We were heading south from other shopping and decided to stop here after visiting another nearby…read morethrift store that we'd been to before. This was our first time here. There was a gal vacuuming at the time we came by. The vacuum was heating up and smoking a bit, so she was concerned. There were also some students or volunteers or young new employees -- I couldn't tell which -- being given a tour of the store as we were there. Both were a bit distracting. They have some inventory that will appeal depending on what you're looking for... they don't have much furniture wise. There's a bit of a bunch of different things --linens, housewares, silverware, electronics, books, clothing etc., etc. Most things are organized together by category. Price wise, it's a mix of decent prices and high prices. They have some of the more expensive items near the counter. We didn't love something enough to buy anything here. But we are still glad we came to check them out.
