Cheese Pizza Royale - Jolly XL (thin)
    Jenn G.

We wanted to visit a brewery near home, but our original pick was not open. Thx to Telp for helping us find this gem. We sat at the bar around 5p on a Tuesday and enjoyed some new beers. Small seating area filled in around 530 for the buffet and the bartender/server got a bit jammed. I'll tell you what, the real prize of the visit was the pizza we took home for our boys. This is well worth the price! Better quality ingredients and great combos. We had Cheese Royale, Peppy Pig & Honest Abe Froman (can you guess the reference? Hubby was on it). Now we know it's there, we will be back.

This place had everything I wanted: happy hour with discounted locally brewed beer, tasty affordable pizza, clean and comfy bar area and friendly service. It's hard to find all those things at one place.

We called a head letting the manager know we would be arriving at 9pm with our local golf league of at least 12 guys. The woman on the phone was not happy because they close at 10 and felt that was too close to still cook food but said It would fine. When our golf leave arrived early at 8:39pm there was a written sign in sharpy on the door saying they closed early due to product outage. This was obviously placed on the door on purpose so they didn't have to cook pizza the last hour of business. We ended up going across the street to Fire45 who actually closed at 9... they reopened their kitchen for our group and we had phenomenal service and outstanding food.

    Chicken wings from buffet.

First time going to jolly's. I had high hopes based off of other reviews. Went on 11/25 buffet night. The setup is awful. The buffet area is sandwiched between arcade machines, so kids are hanging around the area a foot away. Got a plate of wings. Visually looked good. But upon cutting into the wings, the chicken was raw. I notified staff and immediately left. This place needs a health department visit

We stopped in on the way to a Cavs game so we didn't have a ton of time to hang out, but I wish we did! The breadsticks, large pizza, and personal pizzas were all done to perfection. The golden crust was so good one person said, "It's like that good crunchy part of the pizza back when Pizza Hut was good in the 80s!" The beer was a good add on and I'll have to try more of their own brews. The service was prompt and checked on us without being too nosy. They were setting up for a Mario Kart tournament and we may have thought a little too hard about staying. It's on the list to come to back soon.

    Wing Wednesday

Jolly's pizza has a pizza of my heart (AND stomach)! I finally had the chance to bring my boyfriend to Jolly's and he was pretty amazed! We went on Wing Wednesdays, which I think is the best day to come! For $0.49/wing, this was a great way to try different flavors. Orders are in increments of five wings and we placed 2 orders: Garlic Parmesan and Honey Sriracha. I've had the garlic parm before and this time, it was still as amazing! We also ordered the honey sriracha and let me tell you, it was a bit spicier than I imagined. I love spicy foods, but even this sauce was a bit too much for me. But still pretty good nonetheless. For the main event, we ordered a jolly size of the Do-Gooder pizza. I think the honey was unnecessary since it was a vegetarian pizza and adding in a sweet topping kind of threw me off. But I didn't want to change the chef's vision, so we kept it as it. I loved how the crust was crispy and the pizza was LOADED with toppings. Definitely more than enough pizza for 2 people! As for the beer, locally brewed beer for ONLY $5! Not sure where else you can find this deal. A cold beer sounds great right about now on this hot summer day! If you're in the area, I would definitely give Jolly's Pizza a stab at your taste buds!

My goodness, I have had no so good pizza before, but let me tell you. This place takes the trophy. This was absolutely terrible. I called the manager and he was apologetic and gave me a refund. The pizza was all bread. Super thick and very dry. The wings were soggy. We literally threw it away. I hate wasting food but unfortunately, it was not edible.

I went on TikTok to find gluten-free pizza in this place came up. We were seriously impressed. Rice flour, gluten-free pizzas were amazing. All the toppings were awesome and the sauce was great! Highly recommend!

How's that for some 80s hair?!?!

Neat little place. Small dining room and 9 stools at the bar, which is unusually high with the tall bar chairs not quite tall enough. No foot rail, bit too tall to rest feet on the floor, had to rest feet on the chair brace, but knees were way high and relatively uncomfortable (I'm 6'6", so maybe it's just a freakishly large thing.) Back on the positives, tap beer selections are outstanding. Had their own Westsider IPA and a North Royalton Blue Monkey pale ale. Both were very good! Service was a bit slow, but reasonable given the crowd and their newness. Ordered a custom pizza with pepperoni, sausage, onions and tomato. As others have said, the crust is thin, though chewy. I think of it more as a hand tossed crust. Donatos sets the standard for thin and this was not that. On a positive note, the sausage was legit. Not that rabbit turd stuff you get from some pizza joints. On the downside was the lack of pizza sauce. They only provided a drizzle over the top, not an even layer over the crust. My take on the crust is it's more like Focacia bread than a pizza crust. Also ordered the garlic cheese bread which was good and came with a side of pizza sauce that wasn't chilled. And an antipasto salad that was very good with some herb and oil dressing, though the dressing I had asked for (Scholar Sauce) had no flavor to it whatsoever. Would come back again for the beers and the 1980's Price is Right, but will pick up a pizza at Bennets or Donatos.

EXCELLENT pizza. Nostalgic = French-bread deep-dish style. Great way to sample specialty pies. We tried the pepperoni, buffalo, and Hawaiian. Flavors were just awesome. Their 'jolly' size pizza (traditional round) is thinner: We'll try that next. Highly Recommend the Tequila Sunblock Sunrise Ale. Free video games for the little ones is a nice touch. We'll be back!

Came in to check the place out. Was not disappointed! The pizzas were delicious the beer was good. They don't have servers so to speak, you get seated at a table and there is a phone that you use to call the front counter they take your order and then food runners bring our your food and drinks. Super easy! The staff was friendly! Honestly can't say enough good things about the place.

So after wasting time waiting on any semblance of service, we missed this deadline by two minutes and got nothing. Live in the area and I wont ever be back. I enjoy frequenting small businesses but this is the kind of place that chases customers to the chains because of their arrogance. First and last time Ill go there. This place is an experience; this is their main production facility, which also has a huge bar and restaurant space. It's so well planned; sit wherever, order food at one place, beer at another. They have bar seating, big and small tables, high tops, etc. Even with all the variety, it was still pleasantly loud and busy. At the entrance, you can go to the merchandise area, which is big. They have all their canned selections ready and cold to go as well. We sat at a high top near the bar; the bartender was so efficient with our beers, there were so many to choose from I only wished we could've stayed longer. It's family friendly with games. Prices are super reasonable for the continued quality and arguably strong beer styles. If you're a beer fan, whether new or a veteran, this is a must-visit regional powerhouse. I ordered a house salad with the Bumbleberry Poppy Seed dressing, which was fresh and flavorful. My youngest son stuck with his usual favorite, the Smoked Brisket Poutine, which never disappoints. My husband ordered the June special, the 5-OH Burger. This massive burger features an 8-ounce patty topped with ghost pepper cheese, Hawaiian BBQ candied jalapeños, bacon, onion straws, a grilled pineapple ring, and a cream cheese jalapeño popper. The flavor combination was outstanding, and the spice had a delayed kick that sneaks up on you a few seconds after each bite. My oldest son went with the BBQ Burger, loaded with smoky BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, house bacon, onion straws, pickles, and horsey sauce. Another excellent choice. To wash it all down, my husband enjoyed two beers: the Hazy Headhunter and Hop Thunder from Down Under, both of which he really liked. The food is consistently great, the portions are generous, and the atmosphere is always lively and welcoming. Today we sat outdoors on the large patio. After all these years, Fat Head's continues to be one of our family's favorite places to eat. Highly recommended!

The baked brie with poached pear was especially amazing, and the French onion soup had wonderful flavor. For drinks, we tried the basil lemonade mocktail and white chocolate martinis. The martinis were fantastic--rich, chocolatey, and delicious. The mocktail was refreshing but could have used a little more flavor.
