    We found bedbugs! DON'T RECOMMEND!!!

Found Bed Bugs - Do Not Stay Here We found live bed bugs shortly after checking in. Absolutely disgusting. We alerted the front desk right away and asked for a refund, but management gave us the runaround and never followed up. No accountability, no professionalism. Stay somewhere else.

Decrepit. I stayed here two days for a wedding being held downstairs. This hotel lacks so many factors that are important for guests like me. My whole stay cost close to $500 and nothing was worth this much. The elevator was shared with guests and employees which was fairly incompetent. This hotel could be compared between a motel and hotel but more towards a motel. I stayed in the Westchester Suite and when I came in it was pretty but there's always that gut feeling where something appears to be clean yet it feels dirty. That's the exact feeling I felt upon entering the room. I sat on the toilet and almost cut my butt because it slipped off. The bolts weren't attached completely and it was very hazardous. I had to call maintenance to the room, making me wait over an hour for a working toilet seat. The room appeared completely worn down and everything looked used and over abused. On top of that, I went to pull out the sofa bed... crazy. The sofa bed wasn't made like it's supposed to and once I called for linens and pillows to be delivered to the room I had to wait an hour. Many five star hotels I've gone too ALWAYS have linens, pillows and a blanket in the closet. I also ordered a cot and didn't get it until the next day so I slept very uncomfortably. Most of what I expect from a hotel comes from what my mother has taught me. One of them being her working as an executive manager in hospitality. This hotel isn't up to par and there always seems to be chaos in the middle of the night. Horrid.

I wanted to like this place, but the room they gave me felt like a run down motel room. It was all the way at back of the hotel, and it felt so eerie. Most noted, the wall paper was peeling and there was mysterious stains on the wall. One of the curtain was also not working. I worked in a hotel before, and I was just very disappointed. I understand that the rooms need to be filled; however, if I knew that the room was in poor shape, I never assigned certain rooms to customers. I gave two stars because the sheets were clean and nicely pressed.

No thank you. This place may SEEM to look lavish but it's super sketchy. Front desk was rude, certainly not welcoming at all. Room was ok. Much smaller than I anticipated. I immediately heard loud boning in the hallway. People were loud, coming and going, one guy knocked on our door and look freaked out when he realized we weren't buying his drugs. Oh also woke up noticing a FUCKING BLOOD STAIN on the carpet. I wanted to contact someone regarding all this crap but I don't have the energy so here you all go, hope this helps!

    More bug action!!

The pool is "closed" but that's not posted anywhere to know in advance when booking. The bar is "closed" due to their waiting for a delivery? These could be draws for people, and deeply disappointing upon arrival. The 24/7 coffee is not kept up- no decaf at night? The wall based amenities are not kept up- conditioner was empty, and the high hat light in the bathroom was out, making it difficult to get made up and ready. Was staying on the second floor and had to take an elevator to alternate floors to access a working ice machine ... Rather inconvenient. Although their breakfast buffet had several options, by 7:30 AM emptied items were not replenished. Their little concierge/shop was so grossly overpriced. Yes, these convenience shops always are overpriced, but this was price gouging! Does Hampton/Hilton really need that markup for their bottom line? It's terribly taking advantage of their guests and capitalizing on their isolated location. Need to fine tune this place for a better guest experience. Has potential to be so much better!

Customer service was top knotch and the rooms was very clean and spacious. I loved that the room was separated from the living room. There was even a dining room a small kitchen area with a fridge and an over / microwave. I was very impressed with the space. A little gateway without going too far. I had a great time. There was a bar downstairs and I was able to grab a glass of wine. There is also snacks available. I highly recommend staying here!

I also requested a handicapped accessible room, as my BIL was staying with me, and he is mostly wheelchair bound. After check-in, I learned the the handicap rooms are on the 8th floor. So, the reasons for the low rating: (1) the handicap rooms are the furthest from the elevator, literally from one end of the hall to the other; well over 100 feet. (2) sign by elevator that says, "In case of fire, use stairs." This is kind of ridiculous, to expect a wheelchair bound person, to descend 8 floors. Which leads to the question, "Why put handicap rooms on the top most floor?" (3) Our room was very LOUD. Literally, when the HVAC unit came on, it sounded like a jet engine starting. On for 5 minutes or so, then off for 2 minutes. Rinse and repeat all night long (4) In a shower / tub area, the height of the tub was not conducive to a disabled person being able to use it. On a positive side, the bathroom was spacious, with 3 grab bars near the toilet. Note the 4 grab bars in the shower / tub area are useless if you can't get in. Another positive was the continental breakfast. Numerous options for both cold and hot items. 2 poorly designed stars. If you can't put handicap rooms on the ground floor, near an exit, you should not sell rooms as handicap.

Only issues: no hand soap and the thermostat didn't work (literally wouldn't power on at all). Thankfully I carry enough supplies with me and always have extra soap. The thermostat didn't bother me since I like it cold and was able to crack the window open for some fresh cold air. Complimentary breakfast was decent; I would give this property another shot.

Our immaculate room was comfortable, bathroom was large, bed was plush and it was dark & quiet. I was pleased our room was not carpeted. We have free Wi-Fi and breakfast during the week from 6:30 until 9 o'clock and weekends until 10 in the morning. Check in and out was easy and quick, there was a lot of free parking out front. A small gym had some free weights & cardio machines. There was an outdoor sitting area with a fire pit. Breakfast was dicey, it was very crowded we were moving through an obstacle course. Staff had difficulty replenishing coffee & breakfast items, fast enough. However, when time was up they quickly carted away all of the coffee & breakfast item's. Powdered eggs, sausage, oatmeal with toppings, cereals & toast were offered. The coffee was watery, and the quality of breakfast was disappointing. There weren't enough tables because there were people working on laptops while others were shoeless looking for tables to eat breakfast. Most left a mess on tables that we cleared.

I am sharing disheartening story a month after I was traumatized by the experience i had with this…read moreHotel On Friday March 22 at 5 a.m., I arrived at the Tremont Hotel after working all night. I had lost my purse, which had my house keys and credit card in it, so all I had with me was my phone. I asked the hotel if I could pay with Apple Pay since I didn't have my card, and I just needed a safe place to stay until morning. The receptionist told me they only accept cash or card. I then asked if I could book through Booking.com and pay online, would they let me check in. The receptionist said yes. So I made a reservation and paid upfront through Booking.com. But when I showed him the confirmation, he suddenly told me I couldn't check in until 2 p.m. He hadn't said that earlier. Even though I had already paid, he then told me I had to wait *outside* the hotel. It was 5 a.m., I was alone, a woman in a vulnerable situation, and I had gone out of my way just to find a safe place. I was shocked. When I asked for a refund, the hotel refused. I had spent the last bit of money I had, thinking I'd at least have somewhere safe to stay. Being turned away like that--with proof of payment--was heartbreaking. The receptionist should have told me from the start that I wouldn't be allowed to check in until 2 p.m. Asking someone who's already in distress to wait outside in the early hours of the morning, despite having same day reservation, is completely unacceptable. And refusing to give me a refund made everything worse. This whole experience was deeply disappointing and honestly, shameful.
