That's exactly what happened here. My estimate was around $23,000 but the final cost was over $45,000. They placed a lot of the cost as 'extra' but most of it became necessary. I chose this company based on their good reviews. But I think they prevented bad reviews. I would have gotten a 'discount' if I didn't write this review. The clause they added was: "As part of this agreement, both parties agree not to make, publish, or communicate any statements, whether written or oral, that could reasonably be construed as negative, defamatory, or disparaging toward the other party, including but not limited to statements made on review platforms, social media, or to third parties. This includes statements regarding the project, the services performed, or the resolution of this matter. This obligation applies indefinitely." It seemed pretty standard, so I guess I am not the first to get it. When they added over $6,000 to the estimate, I requested to be notified of any further changes. I heard nothing. But when I called to ask what was going on, I was told that the cost had increased to over $40,000. And I had to call to find out. When I asked to see the items I was being charged, I was told I should have gone up to roof and watched to verify what was actually being used. That response alone speaks volumes. My advice: be careful when you get an estimate from a company who doesn't have someone go on the roof. I thought using a drone was modern and efficient, but it can also be lazy and gives them no idea what needs to be done --adding costly surprises later.

We could not be happier with the outcome. Chris Barnett and Blake Cox were consummate professionals not only leading up to and throughout the job, but afterwards as well. We had some issues relating to the gutters, which were not related to the re-roof itself, but Chris and Blake wanted to make sure that everything worked perfectly and so paid us a visit a few more times after the job was complete and made absolutely sure that the roof channeled water in perfect coordination with the gutter system. I had no idea how beautiful new windows would be. At 65 I never ever thought about new windows…read more New roof yup, time to paint yup, new deck ok. This home had 2 or 3 "ghost" windows, can this be fixed? Then just forgot about it. I didn't even know how bad the screens were. Holes, thick screen that was gray and dingy. and they wouldn't even come clean. When Alpha came out to inform us about the ghost windows, we decided to replace all the windows in our 70 year old home. The sun shines in our dinning room and the floor would be hot. now you don't feel any heat at all. The screens are so well made and they come off and back on very easy.. all our windows are the same style. In our den/bedroom the window was very large and divided into 4 parts 2 side open/close, and the center and bottom center part was just glass (hard to explain but UGLY) When the measurements were taken, he asked if I'd like a solid plate glass. The room had 2 other open/close windows so I said sure. Best decision ever! It changed the look of the room. Its brighter and the picture window is just that, a beautiful picture of our front yard. Im so happy with the end results. As for the work team...the installers were very considerate of all the "stuff" I have in my house. Plus the plants on the outside were not disturbed at all. 2 things that make us laugh. 1. we got an all glass door and we keep thinking the door is open. 2 At night when I walk by that door, I scare myself with my own reflection. So a curtain closed at night took care of that. Every person that we came in contact with was so friendly. Very professional and when we had a problem with our door lock, they came out the next day.
