I booked online and had 90 min deep tissue Thai massage with Kate. I arrived a few mins early and was greeted by a friendly guy behind the desk, directed to sit and complete a pre-massage questionnaire, and a few moments later, Kate came and took me through the hallways to find an empty room. The space is cute, but you can tell the building is older because of the creaking floors - it doesn't impact the rest, just making note. Kate looked into a couple of rooms before finding an empty one, which I found strange, as they should have some way of noting which rooms are in use vs. empty, so that's my main suggestion. Kate provided instruction on where to set my personal items, etc and return a few mins later when we were ready to get started. I agreed to allow them to step on me, which was a new experience for me. What I will say is that while Kate was physically on the smaller side, she used everything to dig out any knot she could find - hand, elbows, feet, etc. I have had a few massages over the years and this one hurt the most. I did not tell her to let up because the point of me going was to work them all out. I was left with some redness/bruising in a few areas that got extra attention, but that can be expected. Overall, it was a smooth process from booking until the end. They do offer a slight discount for cash payments, and just FYI: you cannot add tip payments when using a gift card, those must be paid separately.

When I showed up for my massage, Jennifer was very friendly and timely. The morning of my massage I did receive a text message with really good instructions on how to find the unit she is located in. The waiting room is decorated beautifully and very peaceful. The text also included a form to fill out prior to the massage and upon arrival Jennifer went over that information as well which was very nice. I injured my neck, clavicle area and back earlier in the summer and she did such a good job that I'm able to turn my neck so much better now. Jennifer was very intuitive about how much pressure was needed which provided a lot of relief afterwards. After having hundreds of massages in my life I highly recommend her and this business! This massage left me more sore than when I got in there! He focused on one spot in my shoulder that made me wince...and after the 10th time of his elbow digging into that spot I had to tell him that I had enough. Same thing when he went to the other shoulder. Jeez guy, not everyone can take that much pressure! I was sure my shoulder was going to have a bruise on it the next day. The rest of the massage was eh and left me wishing I saved my money for a real massage.
