The server came to find me in line to ask why I've moved the bottle, then proceeded to tell me that the wine needs to breathe so he'll re-open the bottle. Personally didn't need a lecture on how wine needs to breathe, I'm well aware, nor do I find it appropriate to chase me down in line over it, but okay I let it go as well and thanked him for his help. Everything else was great, until the check came. I guess there was an issue with the card we used and different server very discretely brought it to our attention. Of course we're embarrassed, but grateful for the discreetness. Mind you, we've been here many times and have never had any issues before, just inadvertently gave an old card. I grabbed my purse to provide a different card and the initial server decided to comment loudly to my partner something about where'd you get lucky enough to find her as if to say women don't pay. I was shocked and mortified! At that point I simply replied that it all comes out of the same accounts anyway, just a different name on the card. The comment was well beyond inappropriate, brought attention unnecessarily, and was absolutely unwarranted. At least we've been together for more than a decade, I can't even imagine if this was someone's first date! We didn't need to offer an explanation, but at that point we just wanted to be done and get out as quickly as possible. Most of the foods were fresh as they kept bringing it out. If there is something you need, just let them know. The hot/sour soup was running low and I let one of the staff members know and they brought a fresh batch of soup right away. I will give this place props on their crawfish. They were large, fresh, super easy to peel, snd had an awesome flavor to. Their fried shrimp and blue crab wasn't half bad as well. The hibachi bar wasn't bad as I got some steak, onions, eggs, and mischroom with Hibachi sauce. I really enjoyed the sushi bar. It's was fresh and tasty. I loved their California rolls and seaweed roll. Sushi chef kept making sushi while I was there. The spicy Mayo I will skip next time as it tasted very bad with too much of a Mayo flavor to it.
