I am rating Royal Tobacco 1 star due to Kylie's customer service. I bought $150 in cigars yesterday and I bought 6 of the wrong ones, because my husbands usuals were replaced on the shelf by a different version of same brand. Kylie was abrupt to tell me that it's illegal to return tobacco, which is NOT true. I called her and she continued to argue with me and told me she has 5 years experience . Obviously, no experience with AI or she would know it's not illegal to return cigars, just can't be re sold. You lost my $300-500 monthly business over 6 cigars. I was the gal Moe sold a box of Placentia's 2 weeks ago. I always bought from the tall thin gentleman with long hair. He always treats me so nice and helps me pick cigars for my husband, but he wasn't there yesterday. Fortunately, another small cigar shop close to where I live sells AJ Fernando's cigars. Royal is close to my work. If you want good customer service, please go to Fox cigar lounge. read more

I've been to many cigar shops around the East Valley but I have to be honest, Royal Tobacco is the spot that I keep coming back to. There's something about the atmosphere here that makes you feel relaxed and is genuine. Moe, the owner is super welcoming and you get the feeling that he truly appreciates your business. Sit down, watch a game and engage in some great conversation with other patrons and even Moe himself! Their humidor is always nicely stocked full with all of my favorites like AVO, Camacho, Perdomo and Arturo Fuente along with many many others that will please the most discerning of tastes. Prices are hands down, the best I've seen in the Valley. Which is very important during these times! Stop in and give them a try. This was my first visit to Royal Tobacco and Moe greeted me with a smile and friendly conversation. He took the time to show me around and gave me some great suggestions for my purchase. He wasn't pushy, or rude, and he didn't try to ignore me either. Moe recognized that I was a veteran and offered a military discount. It was a pleasant shopping experience and I'm for sure making this my new go to place for cigars! This isn't your "run of the mill" toke shop with trinkets galore.
