A member of stafff security came over and asked what happened took side of this guy and I was appalled! Would kove to speak to the owner because this situation was appalling altogether and never should have been treated this way as a paying customer. I would never go back nor would I go to any other locations which i have gone to for years.

The owners and staff make you feel welcome and their prices are awesome. Unfortunately, the box was empty when I arrived, and several other selections appeared to be running low as well. The humidor is smaller and more limited than what I'm accustomed to, though it was clean, well-maintained, and the cigars appeared to be in excellent condition. Prices seemed fair and in line with other local cigar lounges. The atmosphere is very laid back and local. There were only a handful of patrons present, a mix of working professionals and retirees. Seating was comfortable, the lounge was clean, and the bartender stayed on top of housekeeping tasks like emptying ashtrays even while busy. That said, the overall experience felt somewhat unstructured. There were numerous televisions showing different programming simultaneously, no music that I could hear, and no obvious beer or whiskey menu. The beer selection appeared to consist of whatever could be identified from the tap handles and cans in the cooler. As a first-time visitor, I also found myself navigating the humidor alone. The staff were friendly, but a brief introduction or recommendation would have been appreciated. What I did appreciate was that The Yard doesn't seem to be trying to be something it's not. It feels like a relaxed neighborhood cigar lounge where regulars come to unwind rather than a destination built around a curated cigar and spirits experience. Would I come back? Yes. I'd like to see the lounge at a different time of day and with a few friends. My first impression wasn't quite enough to pull me away from my usual spot, but there was enough here to make me interested in giving it another visit.

And the bathrooms were super clean which is probably silly to others, but I always appreciate a place that takes pride in their bathrooms. They offer drinks and let you order food from right next door. Then you can pick it up and eat it over at Castro's. It's definitely a place I would visit again. I have come in before when they were playing Green Day or harder rock, which did not quite match the chill atmosphere, but that is a small dent in this great place. They manage the smoke really well so it never feels overly smoky inside. There is also a restaurant next door, which is perfect because you can order food, bring it over, and they give you a pager to let you know when it is ready.
