It wasn't bad but it wasn't worth driving for hours. If you are in the area you can stop here and grab a bite. Or if you are looking for a casual dinner place to sit at and chat with your friends while grabbing a few drinks the this is the place to go. I haven't been to many restaurants in this area and I can only say that the food here is better than GIANS but I have had better. Portions are smaller than most Indian places. THE SERVICE The service is good. The servers are polite and serve with a smile but they are a little forgetful and we had to repeat our orders. However it might come from inexperience and in some time this should become better if the servers remain the same. But nothing to really complaint about. Daughter and I found the restaurant had moved to a new location since our last trip, and into a building that we were familiar with, and much larger than the former one they occupied previously. We went in knowing quite little about Indian food, but had studied their menu beforehand back at the hotel, and took it with us to the restaurant. We showed her the dishes we had checked off as 'possibles' and sought her suggestions. This worked out perfectly -- we discussed all dishes, narrowed them down to a nice variety, and ordered. For a first time experience, I believe we did very well. We ended up with a rather nice selection of dishes - from appetizers to main dishes - a good variety of introductory tastes, and wonderful flavours. We had ordered 'mild' - the foods were definitely spicy, but about perfect for the three of us. We hope to have the opportunity to dine there again, and now have a good idea on how and what to order, and are looking forward to it.
