Nama Chocolate "Strawberry Champagne"

I was gifted this wonderful chocolate for Christmas and it's sooo good. Melts in your mouth and really smooth. I see that these are from Japan and some of the candy in store is only exclusive to the store. You can view these chocolate online but some are only available in store. Really nice gift for someone who has a sweet tooth, it's not overly sweet and full of flavor.

I was in The Shoppes at Santa Anita to dine at Ramen Nagi. Must try ramen if you haven't already. Anyway, I remember I checked out Royce in the past, but didn't buy anything due to lack of customer service. I decided to come back and give them another chance. Well, this time was better indeed. I was greeted timely. The nice young lady behind the counter answered my questions about their chocolate bars that ranged from $10.99 - $11.99. Thank you Miss! She recommended the Almond Chocolate bar. I do love almonds in chocolate so that's what I bought. Chocolate was very smooth and almonds were fresh. Price was slightly pricey, but then again you are buying a higher end chocolate brand. Nevertheless, it was a nice sweet splurge that happens once in a while. I will buy again, but next time, I'll try another flavor. Thank you ROYCE!

This is the closest location to me without wandering out towards Torrance, Gardena, or OC. I like how everything is displayed and service is informative whenever I have questions. They do have seasonal limited goods that sell out, so make sure you drop by when they're announced. I usually only shop here during October to get their cute Halloween treats as birthday gifts for people I know born during this spooky month. I love the cute packaging for not just the box of sweets, but each individually wrapped chocolate/cookie, as well as the bag that everything comes in. Worker was even nice enough to throw in 2 for me. I might stop by for Christmas time for nicer gifts as well.

This might be their main product of chocolate, and they were delicious.

Had the opportunity as an elite member to try different items on their menu through an invitation. They sell a variety of products with a lot of creativity. Chocolate is sold in ways that only one can imagine. Have you tried a potato chip with chocolate coating? This is something that I've never experienced before, and I am quite surprised how delicious these chocolate coated potato chips are! There are also various products that contain chocolate with matcha, strawberry, and vanilla. You can't say no to delicious chocolate. And the workers here have done an amazing and professional job to provide information on their products. In addition, they gave me the opportunity to try a lot of products they sell. I loved how they were actually just in between shops at the mall, because they were hard to located. The way they set up their shop is quite neat, so I'm impressed. Their products might be quite expensive, but they are imported from Japan. So it definitely wouldn't hurt to spend your money on some of their products once in a while.

i was looking for a special birthday gift for my boss. he'd raved about ROYCE Nama chocolate being his favorite sweet from Japan. just my luck, i saw they have a location inside the Santa Anita mall. upon entering i was greeted with a smile and warm "hello" by **Ryan* with such a 'large' array of chocolates to choose from in-store, i felt overwhelmed. but **Ryan* was patient - answered all my questions about products, let me sample a few items & helped me narrow down my choices: 1 'Nama Chocolate: Bitter' + 'Hokkaido Gift Box' = to gift. i am confident my boss will enjoy them :0) ...and of course, a 'Matcha chocolate' treat for me lol! thank you for an excellent experience, i will be back to try more ROYCE goodies!

After trying ROYCE' for the first time at a family friend's house, I was hooked and had to get my hands on a box for myself! I remember going to Vegas to buy four boxes of the white Nama Chocolates for myself since this location did not exist yet. It has always and is still one of my favorites of all time. I have been craving these chocolates lately and decided to stop by and buy a box while shopping at the mall. Initially, I planned to buy the white Nama chocolates, but the Sakura Fromage Nama Chocolates caught my eye. The girl behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. She offered samples on products I was interested in buying and even gave some individually wrapped chocolate samples with my purchase. In the end, I decided to go with the Sakura Fromage Nama Chocolates since they were limited edition and tasted really good. As someone who is not a fan of chocolate at all, ROYCE' Nama Chocolates are the way to my heart! They are my favorite and the only kind of chocolates I will eat (aside from Godiva white chocolate). At $18 a box, it is definitely more on the pricey side for chocolate, but I think its taste makes up for it. I am super glad that there is a ROYCE' location at this mall. It makes satisfying my Nama Chocolate cravings much more manageable and it beats having to drive out to Torrance/Las Vegas to get a box.

The staff is friendly. She allows us to try the samples before we buy. However, purchasing in the store is more expensive than online.

The packaging is really cute and the Nama chocolate is definitely worth the $18 per box.

Whenever I see this place online or watch someone's video making the rounds, I always wonder: *Is…read moreit really that good, or is it just trending on my FYP?* Y'all, this place is actually that good. Their pastries are legitimate Paris-level quality. The one that looks like a pain au raisin (but isn't) is incredible--those glazed, crunchy parts are what's up! I came here to get some work done on my laptop, and the vibe was perfect. People actually rotate out instead of camping at tables all day, so indoor and outdoor seating opens up organically. That is exactly my type of place.

By the time I was done ordering and had everything there was probably 20 people in line. So getting there a little early makes sense. I ordered 4 chocolate croissants, 3 Monkey Breads, 2 Kouign Amanns, and a partridge....sorry. Wrong song. 1 chocolate bar and a cappuccino. So far I've had a Kouign Amann and the cappuccino. The cappuccino may be the best I've ever had. I don't know what kind of coffee they use, but it was very smooth. That alone is worth the trip. AND, my barista did a cute milk art on top. The Kouign Amann was AMAZING. Layered and flaky I confess I ate the whole thing! I can't wait until I can try the other 2 things I've purchased. After all, the chocolate croissant was the primary reason for going. Now for the negatives: Management should figure out a way for more than one person to take orders and box them up. Even Mom & Pop donut shops often have multiple people taking orders. And Porto's has it down to a science. It would go a long way toward clearing the line faster. My second issue was the price. Quality is expensive. I get it. And I'm fortunate enough to be able to splurge for a treat like this. But with a small tip added to my total I spent just shy of $100! Not something I can do every week. But I would encourage you to save your nickels and check them out!

When I…read morewas done, I decided to stop by and order their avocado/eggs/queso arepa and it didn't disappoint. The top part of the arepa is crispy corn, flat fritter while the bottom is soft and savory. The eggs are fluffy; reminding me of the omelettes they make in Paris (which is the best I've ever had). They give you so much that it's bursting out. I think they use half an avocado on top and ask if you want onions and tomato in the omelette. I agreed to it. I coupled it with a flat white English breakfast tea with honey. So perfect for an after-run meal in the morning, to power your whole day and start it right. There's 4 hour street parking but it's located where you can park in the lot for 3 hours free anyway. They serve churros con chocolate, too, as well as your humdrum pastries. LA Times mentioned them in their Food section of the Sunday paper and I can see why. Music is soft bossanova versions that may surprise you; Kiss Me by Sixpence None the Richer is more tolerable this way lol. Order at the front and you'll get a number. Staff are super friendly; you can bus your own table but if it's not busy, they will jump in to do it anyway. Muy rico!

We looked up and saw See's staring right at us. It was a sign. We had to head on over here ASAP. This See's shop is not very big, but it has the essential variety of chocolates. They weren't super busy at the time. We got in line and we were up next. The lady who helped us appeared to have rush the sale transaction. Not sure why because there weren't anyone else behind us. Anyway, I got my go-to chocolates such as the pecan and almond buds plus rum, almond, peanut butter nougats and dark scotchmallow. My daughter got her raspberry truffle and dark raspberry cream. Pricing per pound has gone up, but their good quality hasn't changed. Yummy chocolates of all time! We did get a couple free samples of chocolates. Thank you! We weren't asked which ones we wanted. Samples were just handed to us. I know other See's shops ask for our sample of choice which I like a lot because we get to choose what we want to try. Anyway, you can't go wrong with See's Candies. I have been a long-time customer since my high school days. Long Live See's!
