She had informed me ahead of time that some flowers are seasonal but she will try her best to recreate the same one. For those who are not too familiar with different types of flowers or have a specific preference, you can provide her with a color scheme you like and she'll work with it. The cake turned out exactly like the picture I showed her. From the color of the flowers to the rose petals that were​ coming down the side of the cake, everything was just the way I wanted it. All of the ingredients used are fresh and made from scratch so none of that boxed cake mix. The cake not only looked great but also tasted amazing. Yes, the cupcakes are as consistently yummy and moist as they are prettily decorated. Yes, the interior of the shop is clean, bright, and bursting with color. Yes, there are drinks, and savory food, and other tempting things in and behind the bakery cases. What I witnessed this morning between the shop workers and the customers gave me something to meditate on. I overheard the people in the shop talking to each other about what ultimately resulted in an act of kindness for another customer. What transpired happened over the course of a couple of minutes, but it was done so simply and quietly as to not draw much fanfare. It seems like these small acts of generosity happen regularly, and it's simply reassuring to see the goodness in people that we may not have normally noticed. I suppose there's something mystical and magical when good business owners draw in good staff and draw in good customers. Cheers, all!
