Service was good to the point where I felt I was forced to get a sofa couch I didn't originally choose. Still not happy with it. Only because there wasn't much of a selection to fit through my apartment. Same with the mattress I got from them. The original mattress wasn't available. Which lead me to get another one to accommodate me they said pick any other. I purchased in August 2023. The mattress sinks in one side. It's been painfully hurting my back. They offered to pick it up for 50$ to have the Ashley rep inspect it. Which means I'd be without a mattress. OR for me to purchase another mattress. While it goes through its claims / warranty process. The value isn't worth that place to ever purchase anything anymore. The material on the table I got chipped off. Really wasted investing there. Jerome's Furniture "Liquidation"???. I did not know that, so just be aware of that fact. We bought a feather/down lounger set. It felt wonderful when we sat in it in the showroom. If felt awesome. We bought it. BUT, beware if you consider this type of couch, it's called pillow/cushion compaction! After you sit on this couch a few months the pillows compact so much you might be sitting on the hard wood frame. We are, right now, after only 9 months. We feel it is not defective, but a defective design. Not enough long term cushion. We talked with Jerome's but they said it's normal, so just fluff it. We do, every day, sometimes multiple times. AND, you need some muscle to do this. We were not aware this would happen, no one told us, we should have looked into it more. That said, also be aware of Jerome's no return policy, at least at this store. Once you buy it, it's yours. Once they say they cannot or will not help you further, there is nothing more to do. We only wanted a reselect, not our money back, there was no negotiation. I spoke with C/S, I wrote to Jerome's corporate, nothing. Just fluff it. The people are nice, but do not expect much consideration after the sale. Also, give no thought to escalation. QUOTE: "management doesn't have set seats or phones, so they have no direct number". Let that sink in!!! We also found out the couch was discontinued, and they no longer buy from the vendor ... HENCE ... "Liquidation". Had we known this, we would likely not have purchased it for the price we paid. I like "J" at this store, she was considerate and kind ... but we're never going back unless they somehow decide to assist us, but I am not holding my breath. Just a warning: ASK about wear, ASK if the product is discontinued, be ready to like and live with it. So ... it's policy first, customer satisfaction second. One thing I must say I should of kept shopping around but the ladies that helped with my bed made me feel like, I could trust the business. The younger woman keep trying to sell me a bed already in stock and I didn't like it so she gave me a few catalogs to look at and behold on pages that followed I found the bed of my dreams the younger woman said oh it would be more cheaper if you order it from this catalog the color will be dark grey I was hesitant at first but the younger woman kept saying oh we have the best look at all our awards over the years. You have to make a deposit of course. The guys that deliver are friendly and will ask you where you want them placed. Came here once. My experience wasn't so bad when the father was assisting us. This 2nd time I wanted to customize make a sofa and owner tells me my taste is off and weird???? I like things to match up with two tones and not just one tone of colors and if I feel like they match better that way then what's the problem? I'm paying for it. Isn't the customer always right especially with what their taste is in furnitures? I like to mix and match and that's my choice. When we ask price for a few select items, the gentleman took so long, and started asking us," are you planning to buy today, then I look for the price!!" (seriously???) I was kind of annoyed and started to walk out, my husband was patient and he informed the guy that we are leaving. To that the gentleman says why do you waste my time, if you don't want to buy today. It seemed like looking up price online was as heavy for him like removing furniture from the warehouse. I would never return there.... I have started doubting the credibility of Yelp.
