Very special to paint over the spider webs left with a lot of dark spots all over the walls and ceiling. Missed painting, promised sand and prime and skipped all these part just paint over it. Nail holes without patching left it like beehive! Over spraying to the windows and kitchen cabinets. You name it would be special painting like a newby. Promised to do the touch up for months and dropped the ball many times. He cuts the corner of you don't follow up! My wife and I just bought a home and realized it needed a significant amount of stucco repair, along with a new coat of paint. I had two different painting contractors come out to quote the job. Bear in mind that our home sits on the side of a hill on a slope, and is landscaped with large river rocks. So it's a bit more complicated to paint. Rick came out (on time) to quote this job. He pointed out some areas that needed repair, and walked me through the process. Rick also presented me with some options of standard paint, or using an elastomeric paint which basically seals the home in a "Rubberized" paint. I opted for trhe elastomeric because of the longevity and durabiltiy. RP's quote was nearly identical to the other contractor, so I chose Rick for the job. The crew came out when they were supposed to and immediately went to work. Bear in mind that if you are expecting a crew dressed in khakis and polos, you'll be disappointed. These guys are dressed to get down and dirty. At the end of each day , they made it a point to clean up after themselves too. One wall adjacent to the front door had some shoddy stucco repair from the previous owners. Instead of just patching the numerous cracked areas, they not only patched it, but retextured that entire wall. No cutting corners. After about a week (rain delay), the job was done. The house looks absolutely terrific. They also took care of the small details and touch-ups. We have a custom built wooden front door and they even put a double coat of marine grade varnish on it. No mess around the house either. I'm pleased with the job. I think this job was worth every penny including the cost of upgrading the paint. Buy once, cry once. No hassles. I would certainly recommend RP Painting Specialists if you are looking for a painting contractor. read more

We just had our garage, trim, and front door painted by R&P and they did a wonderful job! They worked diligently for about 4 hours the first day, and a couple more hours the next day. When painting our garage, they carefully removed each little glass window. The paint they used is high quality, and they gave us the left over cans. I also appreciated how they noticed little areas like right under our door frame that needed a touch up. They did not cover the areas not to be painted and got paint on other surfaces. My walls were white before and there are many areas where I can see the white through the color because the coat was so thin. Rick and his team did an amazing job painting the four bedrooms in our house. All the edging (taping down the surfaces, floor panels, ceilings, working around the blinds and outlets if you have any,etc.) was done very neatly and timely. They even help with moving the furniture away from the walls to complete the job. I was very disappointed in the quality of the work by Rick Pruitt's team. They did not cover my windows as stated in the contract and now many of my screens are ruined. They also failed to cover my plants and many of them were damaged by overspray, some will not recover. There are paint drips on the walls and on my wood porches. When the painters ran low on trim paint they purchased more of the correct color but of the wrong finish and so now there is glossy paint on some trim and low-sheen on most of it. I have made numerous attempts to reach Rick, the owner to either repair the damage or refund enough money so I can pay someone else to do it. This was especially disappointing to me as this business was highly recommended to me. read more
