The 2nd time I take my dog there they call about 30 mins after they start grooming him and say he is bleeding from his genitals and they cannot finish the cut or bath him. Which was understandable. I then go to pick up my dog to take him to the vet and they only accepted cash or check so I told them I would bring the money to them after his vet appointment. They told me that the I owed $80 and to bring him back at a later date so they can finish the cut and bath him and I would just pay them for the bath and rest of the cut. I went to the bank and withdrew the $80 even though I thought that was a crazy amount for half a cut and proceeded to go to the vet. My vet then tells me that my dog has trauma to his penis area. They were unable to say exactly what happened but said it was fresh blood and it recently happened. So my mother in law tried to call them twice and explain what the vet said and state that we feel we should not have to pay due to the circumstances and that they should pay for the vet bill as well. The place did not answer the phone. I then get a call from a police officer asking why I did not pay for the service and I explained to them what had happened and the police officer said to handle it basically how I already am and tell her that I am now stuck with a $113 vet bill due to my dog having to get antibiotics and a shot for the swelling. The owner proceeds to tell me that they vet couldn't say exactly what happened so she is not paying the vet bill. My dog was not injured when we dropped him off. He was not bleeding. He didn't not hit his genitals on our car (like the owner gave as an example for the reason behind his trauma) there is a video of him before the cut not bleeding and then pictures of him bleeding after he was on their table and the cut has started. I do not believe they purposely harmed my dog but they also did not handle the situation professionally and own up to my dog somehow getting injured while on their table. The owner would not even call me to speak about it she would only message me on Facebook. Very unprofessional. They are also the ones who took these videos and pictures. We never felt rushed. We chose this clinic because they are AAHA accredited, Cat Friendly certified, and independently owned. Their in house lab also allows for same day blood work results, which was important for our 17 year old cat. They were upfront and very fair with pricing. The facility is very clean and adequately staffed. 100% would return again and highly recommend for anyone with a senior cat or geriatric pet. Very thankful we found this vet.

This is a business attached to a home, and drop-off/pickup times are scheduled by appointment only. It wasn't difficult to arrange a convenient time to drop off or pick up our dog, but the business is very particular about these details. Also, the Pooch Parlor only accepts cash or check, no credit cards. If you're in a pinch, there are a couple of banks and ATMs in Greenville, 5 min drive away from the Pooch Parlor. The boarding area is warm and dry, with each dog getting what looked roughly like a 5ftx10ft run to themselves. There is a large enclosed outdoor field where the dogs are let out several times a day.

The first cat we got was sweet and such a nice cat, but not neutered. The second cat we named Osama Bin Kitty, the attack cat. After about 3 weeks we returned him as he constantly attacked everything & everyone. Then we moved to Indiana. About 6 months later we received a notice that if we didn't show records that the first cat was neutered, an arrest warrant would be issued for us. We had to travel back to Troy to have the cat neutered and the records provided to them. That was the last time for us.

They had like 20 puppies in one room with also a full grown dog.. unorganized for real. But no one and nothing will convince me that this shelter didn't know those poor babies weren't sick. I called and let them know so they could at least call the people who adopted the other puppies to keep an eye on them.. she didn't sound shocked that one was dead when we told her what was happening.

I pick them up and they smelled horrible!!!!! he never over to pay for the bed nor did he call to ask to what he should do with it. he had no right to do that without paying for it. I had to give bother dogs a bath as soon as we got home. they were timid for a day because of the lack of care for them. be careful of who you trust with your little loved ones. if there not let out properly they have to do there business somewhere. and from my understanding with the rain that week, he only let them out at his convenience.
