I had very good experiences here when it was RideNow. Unfortunately it's been bought out by Del Amo. I'm updating this review just to make sure they don't benefit in any way from the old one. I bought a bike from their South Bay location and they failed to send their paperwork to DMV, which meant I couldn't register it. I had to file a formal complaint with DMV to get them to resolve it. Emails were ignored, calls were brushed off for months. Del Amo sucks, spend your money elsewhere. read more

I financed a 2019 HONDA PCX150 Scooter from them as my main transportation. I didn't know to much about it and took it to their service department each and every time I needed it serviced. I trusted them because I bought it from them. Turns out they never really serviced it at all and they completely ripped me off and played me for a fool. They even kept my bike for a month during Christmas last year when my Mom was ill and had passed away. I spent almost $900 on Uber during that time and $800 for the service.then a month later when I still had problems they charged me another $700. the problem was never fixed and when I took it to RPS Motorsports he showed me what they didn't fix and how much they charged for bolts .... They even put my back tire on upside down. Ride Now Service Department in Vista California are downrighit crooks who took advantage of me and my lack of knowledge. Reached out in February to sell my 2016 yamaha with under 25k miles. After almost a month and a half I found out that management hadn't gotten my request and the Ai system was not forwarding my messages. After all the time spent trying to get a trade in quote the dealership came in at 2000 less than Kelley blue book. Management had nothing to say or offer in regards to the time wasted. I would avoid buying any used bikes if this is the case I'm sure owners are not selling quality at that price. Updated: After a near 11 minute phone call with Ryan Boyd Sales manager. I found only confirmation of old and outdated business practices. The sales manager tried to explain what kind of profit margin is needed and that the margin is far too low. I could agree but only if I didn't have experience in the industry. Companies who are offering pennies on the dollar for these vehicles are taking advantage of someone. Whether that be a seller who is struggling or an ignorant buyer who could be buying something dangerous. I can't say anything negative about new sales but anything used or selling I would strongly suggest a reputable family owned business. read more

Was told they had it, had them run our credit, got approved and has to keep calling them to find out anything even though they would say theyd call me with an update. I told them if they could deliver to my home since im about 3 hours away from them. They said it would be an inconvenience to their driver and that most people rent equipment to pick up their vehicles and that thats what i should do. So i said ok, found a friend to let me borrow their truck for the day and drove 3 hours away to pick up what i was told was ready to go the day prior. I get there and suddenly the vehicle has a coolant leak. And that they need to fix it before i can take it home and that for the inconvenience they will deliver it the following week. All of a sudden they can deliver but i said ok thats fine. Even got a used quad for our daughter so that way we can go home with something. Was told they would contact me with an update and they never did. Had to call myself and they said they didnt have a tracking number for the part, and that it would hopefully be in the following week and that they would update me again. Waited another week and still no update from anyone there, so i had to call again and was told that the part just came in and that it would be next up to work on and that they would again "update us". Called today and spoke with a manager and theyre saying that the part didnt come in and that they will check where its at. Waited an HOUR on the phone and they never came back to the call so i had to hang up. Still havent received a call back from them. They tried to scam me; engaged in deceptive and fraudulent sales tactics. On 05/21/2023, I visited RideNow SoCal dealership to inquire about purchasing a 2023 Kawasaki KLR 650. I gave them permission to run my credit because I saw on kawasaki.com that promotional finance offers are available through Citi Retail Services, Synchrony Bank, and Sheffield Financial. Offers valid 4/1/23 through 6/30/23, see dealer for details. Hoping to take advantage of this offer, I provided my credit information to the dealership. They assured me that they would submit my credit to Citi Retail Services, Synchrony Bank, and/or Sheffield Financial and inform me of the approval or denial for the promotion. However, they failed to follow through on their promise. Instead, they informed me that I had been denied by all three lenders and insisted that my only option was to finance through their preferred lender, Octane / RoadRunner Financial which offered a rate of 9.24%; even though I have excellent credit and income. Upon reviewing my credit report, I discovered that RideNow SoCal had not actually submitted my credit to Citi Retail Services, Synchrony Bank, or Sheffield Financial. None of these lenders appeared under soft or hard inquiries. This confirmation clearly indicates that RideNow SoCal had never pursued the promotional financing options they had claimed to offer. By engaging in these deceptive practices, RideNow SoCal potentially violated several consumer protection laws both in the state of California and at the federal level. These potential violations include misrepresentation, fraudulent sales practices, and failing to act in good faith during the transaction. Despite feeling deceived, I reluctantly signed the contract for the 9.24% with the intention of paying it off within a few months, as RideNow SoCal assured me I could pick up the bike the next day. After realizing that RideNow SoCal had potentially engaged in fraudulent sales practices and violated consumer protection laws, I ran my credit directly with Synchrony Bank. To my surprise, I was approved for Tier 1 financing and spoke to a Synchrony Bank representative who confirmed my approval for the promotional rate of 3.94% for 60 months. When I asked if they received a credit application from the dealership, the representative informed me that the only application they received was the one I submitted on their website, indicating that RideNow SoCal never actually submitted my credit to them. I reached out to another Kawasaki dealer in Escondido, who confirmed that they could provide me with the same make and model and offer the promotional rate. Armed with my approval code, I contacted RideNow SoCal to address the issue. They apologized for their actions and eventually agreed to provide me with the promotional rate of 3.94% instead of 9.24%. Despite their resolution, I felt obligated to proceed with the purchase at RideNow SoCal since I had already signed the initial contract. I am giving them 1 stars because they eventually rectified the situation, but it is important to note that I wouldn't have received the correct rate if I hadn't gone through the trouble of exposing their deceptive practices. In conclusion, I rate my experience with RideNow SoCal 1 stars due to their attempt to deceive me and engage in unfair sales practices. SHADY AVOID!! I went in to pickup a bike. I knew what I wanted between the R7 and the CBR 600. The person helping me was new and did not know much about bikes. That's totally fine because I didn't need a ton of info, just to ride them. They refused to let me ride the CBR600 unless I bought it. Odd they expect people to buy a bike when the refuse a ride around the building. I convinced the manager that if I liked the R7 I would buy it that day. They reluctantly agreed. Took the bike around the building and was happy with the bike. I lived up to my end of the bargain and went forward with the purchase. I explained the the sales rep and the manager at the time that I would be getting my financing through SDCCU and that I would come back with the check for them I just needed the final amount. They explained their credit checks go through SDCCU and that anything I was going to do in the branch, they would do for me in store. While this did not sound correct, I went with it and trusted them. BIG MISTAKE Ran my credit through 4 or 5 different times, all hard inquiries (was told this was not going to happen) none of which were SDCCU. I said screw it I will go with Yamaha financing which was offering 1.99% interest or something close to it. I was told that I can't use that option because I did not have $ down. (Didn't find this to be a lie until months later) instead they scammed me into a 7.99% interest rate. (My credit score is 790) Sadly the managers at this store take advantage of people with the "mark up" and I paid $2k over MSRP because of the demand. It does suck but that was up front and out in the open, I took that on myself so I can't blame them for it. It is crappy thing to do though. Long story short I would HIGHLY recommend going to an entirely different dealership all together. Their pushy sales tactics are boarder line illegal by misrepresenting options to customers. Everyone is very friendly as I would expect them to be as they smile to your face as they are screwing you for years to come once you leave the store. UPDATE: After the company replied to my review I need to be clear. I DID sign the documents. That does not mean they are not at fault. When there is an interest rate of 1.99% that I am more than qualified for but I am TOLD I am not because they want me to use the 7.99% interest because they certainly get a cut of that is deceptive and shady. When I am TOLD my credit will be ran once and it's ran 6 times. That's deceptive and shady. When I'm told and convinced that whatever SDCCU will do for me in the branch they can do there but never did. That's shady and deceptive. Quite funny that the defense to their practices are "you signed the document" is disgusting. Shows their true "loyalty" to their customers. NEVER again and I HIGHLY encourage anyone to buy elsewhere. My 19 and 21 year sons were in the process of buying a Sea Doo from this business. Until they brought out the invoice and had added almost $5,000 in fees!! They were charging $3,450 for freight and $1,399 in misc fees. Almost doubling the cost of the SeaDoo. The salesman told my sons that fright is so expensive because SeaDoo uses trucks instead of trains because once a train crashed and a bunch of SeaDoos were destroyed so they only use trucks now. Sold the Multi and bought an MT10. As beautiful as the Multi was, it was just too high maintenance and as bikes are often compared to relationships, nobody wants a high maintenance partner no matter how attractive. Just my opinion. Function over form any day and the MT10 takes care of both without breaking the bank every time you ride it. The team at RideNow got the job done despite a few inconsistencies in communication. Coming from OC, the trip isn't convenient, but they gave us good numbers and so a deal was done. Showroom is large and clean. There's decent variety but you can tell they're heavy on cruisers and dirt and not so much sport so bear that in mind depending on what you're in the market for. Parking is plentiful and the lot is large which makes loading easy. They have high sales volume so they're motivated to work with you to keep their numbers up. Weekends are moving days so head in on a Saturday and see what you can spin. Dealerships in OC are terrible and marked way up so I feel I'll be back in a few months to pick up my next bike. However, since they don't deal heavily in sport and supersport, I'll probably have to visit more than one shop but I'll keep these guys on my list despite the distance. read more

Wow, what a terrible dealership. I traded a bike in for a cruiser. It was a used 2020 kawasaki Vulcan with 10k miles. They do not allow test rides, which is not completely abnormal. Bought the bike and in the ride home, the clutch slips under heavy acceleration, like merging on the freeway. Also, oil is leaking on the right side. I drive it home because I had prior engagements. I drove it again the next day and slipping clutch in the same circumstances. The dealership has a 90 day warranty so I called and brought the bike back. I went and dropped off the bike at their service department. They test rode the bike and "couldn't feel anything wrong". Keep in mind, this is not a hard symptom to reproduce. I also told them about the oil leak. After an hour of going back and forth with these guys, they finally agree to keep the bike and look more into it. They kept the bike for a week and I finally got it back today. they said the clutch was "within specs" but the clutch cable was "out of spec". No word on the oil leak. They said I am probably just feeling the lack of power the Vulcan has, which it is a slow bike. But that isn't what my complaint was and anyone who has felt a slipping clutch understands the lack of power feeling with a slipping clutch. So I ride the bike home today and of course, first pull in 3rd gear, slips. Multiple pulls on the freeway and around town, slipping. Make it home today and there is oil all over my right saddle bag and on the side of the engine. I can not ever prove that they did absolutely nothing to bike, but I am 100 % convinced they did absolutely nothing. This dealership with NOT stand by their products. Do NOT buy a used bike from them. They do not inspect them well and you are not allowed to test ride to find out beforehand. You will lose a lot of time and money deal with them. Most pathetic excuse for a dealership and especially service department. Going to replace the clutch myself. Go anywhere else, skip this place. read more

I was met by the rather gruff and dismissive service person, the one who is well-decorated, who looked at the shock as though he had never seen one before, and himmed and hawwed about the difficulty of my request. He told me that since they did not sell aprilias that they wouldn't have the spec for the shock which was completely a nonsensical remark as I requested it be shortened by 4 mm. I know of no spec that would need to be consulted for that. Then as my jaw dropped he told me that it would run 1 hour of shop time at about $140, I think, to make the change I requested. He even, on the fly, threw his 2 cents in on some helmet controversy I had read about. Also, for what it's worth, I fee like he went out of his way to make sure I didn't look like a dweeb, thanks. Just purchased my 9th motorcycle, but it was my first time purchasing from RideNow, who were one of the 4 dealers somewhat in my area with a bike I was interested in. They were the furthest of the 4 for me, but the internet sales person I spoke with, Jordan, was extremely fast to respond, very pleasant, and went through some hoops to get the bike over from the warehouse for me, so I felt I owed it to her to give the dealer a try. RideNow actually had the highest out the door price out of the 4 dealers I was in communication with(by $500), but they also had the highest value for my trade-in so I took a chance and drove down there assuming that I'd be able to negotiate both in person. While the sales manager did somewhat re-nig on the estimated trade in that I was given, he did end up giving me the full JD Power value for the bike, which was almost a grand more than other dealers offered, and also matched the price of the lowest out the door price I had been given. The sales manager also tried to push a $1200/5year extended warranty, which I understand they have to do, but it can feel a little belittling to push it too hard. I've owned several Japanese bikes. They don't have major problems, let alone minor problems, and at this point, I've paid for an entire motorcycle by not getting those warranties. Getting approved for the other half of financing took about 1 minute. During all of this, Alejandro was kind of at my side the entire time prepping and going over the bike with me, even grabbing a rag at one point to give it a bit of an overall wipe down, which I appreciated. Found a great deal, No ADM, many other places disclose upfront, my unit was a special year end deal. Chris the GM did a great job resolving my issue. - the salesman was awesome, Christmas promises to the kids made good again. I advise anyone to read the manufacturer website and be aware of all incentives and financing. Also review the owners manual to understand the long term maintenance costs of SXS. I am inspired to open my own shop and get certified and make $150/hour doing an oil change and basic valve adjustment. read more
