I was heartbroken, but the staff at Little Neck Veterinary Care couldn't be more kind, compassionate, and understanding. We decided to bring her home, and let her live her life as comfortably as possible. About a week later we realized that Bacon's health was declining, and that it was time to say goodbye. This was extremely hard for me since I had Bacon before my daughter and my husband. The staff were so kind, and made the process as gentle on us as possible. They created a memorial keepsake with her paw print in sand. They also included patches of her fur, and they made sure to include all of her colors. Not only that, they sent a beautiful, handwritten sympathy card. I know it's old fashioned, but it also shows that they care. That action took time, and they didn't have to do that, but they did. I will take my other cats there, any future pets, and I'll recommend other pet parents to this vet.

I'd emailed Pet Sitters Club at short notice to establish walks for my puppy Leo, and James came early to our apartment on a Saturday morning to set everything up. He saw some behavior to be corrected with Leo and he went right into training mode which was great for me as a first time puppy mother to learn. He also gave me other tips that I've incorporated into Leo's training. Leo's walked by Gabby daily and we're really happy with her! The entire business is run very professionally and they're very accommodating with changes and additions. I also appreciate their very prompt replies, even late-night weekends! Completely unacceptable treatment of animals…read more I witnessed a dog in this facility's care left outside in extreme NYC heat for over 40 minutes -- with no shade, no water, and on scorching pavement. The dog was panting heavily, visibly distressed, and trying to avoid burning its paws. I timed it myself. This isn't just poor care -- it's animal cruelty, and it's illegal under New York Agriculture & Markets Law § 353. I reported the incident to the police and am now filing official complaints with the ASPCA, Animal Care Centers of NYC, and, if necessary, the District Attorney's Office. If this is how animals are treated when people are watching, I can't imagine what happens when no one is looking. This business should not be allowed to work with animals until they are held accountable. Do better.

Nancy first of all was gracious enough to take on the task of caring for Piggie who we dearly love as he is about 5 years old close to 6 inches in length and yes a chubby fish who loves to eat yet needs special custom care. Nancy was very detail oriented and out us at ease with her knowledge, experience and expertise caring for Piggie. She wanted to do everything hands on so she would insure it was done properly and that told us she really cares for those pets she takes under her wing. Piggie needs a special blend of regular fish food and crushed fresh peas which is a little bit of work but Nancy understood and didnt deem it a problem at all. We enjoyed our vacation knowing our pet was in great hand with Nancy. We felt very fortunate to find someone with her credentials willing to stop in daily to care for our fish. Her rates are surprisingly fair and affordable and she truly treats each pet as if her own and that to me is priceless. I could go on and on saying more good things that she is punctual, friendly understanding etc but I'm sure you get my point. 5 stars off the charts review and highly recommend Nancy and her company.
