Chances are they're going to have what you're looking for, and more than likely in stock. There are other outdoor lifestyle chains out there, but none that measure up to the outdoor/wilderness environment that Cabela's has. From its rustic, natural(ish) décor to the outdoor displays to wildlife exhibits, you really do get that "I feel like I'm out in the woods" vibe. While I've always been a fan of Cabela's, this summer we found that they carry my absolute favorite line of bird seed. I'm a birder and feed 6 to 8 different types of feed in my back year nearly year round, and the fact that they have my favorite brand (Harvest brand bird feeds), but A) in multiple varieties and 2) IN STOCK immediately made this my go-to place when I need bird seed. We used to have to visit 3 or more retail outlets to find what I needed, but not any more. The staff has been mostly cool when we've visited. One time we had a cashier named John (as I recall) who didn't care that we were there or not...we were obviously interrupting whatever he was doing on his phone. When we're in need of anything sports-related, Dick's is the first place we head. It's close to…read morehome and they're pretty reliable. The staff is always friendly and often helpful. Often because I recently went in looking for hammock straps and the associate didn't know where they were and asked someone else who also didn't know where they were. During our trip up and down many aisles no one know where they were. Finally, giving up hope of finding them, I went ONE aisle over and *ka-blam* there they were. You know those folding chairs that fit in a nylon bag that pinch your fingers when you fold them if you're not careful? I tend to beat them up pretty good. I buy a new one once a year, and Dick's is the place I go to when I look forward to pinching my fingers again. They always have a great selection and the prices are very reasonable. The one thing I've never purchased at Dick's is my running shoes because they don't carry the kind I like, but don't let the stop you. They have an enormous selection. Just because they don't carry mine doesn't mean they don't carry yours. From camping to canoeing to sports with balls to athletic apparel to hunting stuffs, chances are Dick's can hook you up.

Service was good for our return and purchase. No waiting for assistance. I also noticed buttons around the departments to press for assistance. Horrible customer service.
