After seeing Heidi couple times, decided to have her do "the works", haircut, root t/u and highlights. She cautioned me not to cancel, as she was devoting the afternoon to me. Two hours before appointment, she called and canceled. Her car had to have a part replaced. Certainly inconvenient but not emergency; I offered to pick her up - no, no. I was sooo disappointed, just said to call me when she had another time, and hung up. Now, more than month later I haven't heard from her. Maybe someone can tell me why Heidi keeps front door locked at all times. When customer arrives, she unlocks front door and promptly locks it again. Then unlocks door for customer to leave, and locks again. I thought it was strange (and knew it could cut into my appointment time), but didn't ask. read more

Stay away from Jessie Smokey at this salon. She claims to know how to do ombré styles but she butchered my daughters beautiful hair. She left the bleach on too long and fried it. Her hair was bright orange. Then the layers were horrid and choppy. We complained to the owner who made Jessie fix it. The fix was still awful and you can't fix fried hair either. She screwed my other daughters ombré up too. It turned out to be 3 different brassy colors. She was also made to fix her hair too. All she did was dye over it all with a wash away color. So a week later it was awful again. And right before senior pictures. Jessie's attitude is very poor. She acts like she's a very miserable person. I came to Jesika on a whim. I had seen her post on a Carson something page on Facebook.. So I called and we made an appointment that was convenient for the both of us. Which I loved! She doesn't have set hours and is very flexible! When I came in, I did not have to wait for her to see me and she instantly told me, which already knew, the issues that was done from the previous hairstylist which made me feel relieved. She fixed the issue and at no point did I wait for her to finish or get interrupted by other people. The appointment time scheduled is the appointment time you get. (Of course walk ins are welcome too!) We discussed what my plans are for my hair and instead of just agreeing with me on my ideas, she offered her ideas and suggestions. Walked in on a Thursday morning to a stylist cutting hair, she saw me, didn't say anything though, so I sat down in the waiting area. Thinking when she was done with her customer she will help me. Not the case, she didn't even come acknowledge me when another customer walked in and sat down for what I can only assume was her standing appointment. Only when I grabbed my things to leave did she finally ask if I needed something. It's been two times that I've seen Jesika and she's cut my hair just how I like. I don't think I'll be going to anyone else for a cut. Plus I had to cancel on her and she got me booked in the next day early in the morning! She reminds you of appointments and is just great! Jessica Paxton is absolutely amazing! I walked in not knowing what I wanted to do with my hair, and walked out with the most incredible cut and color I've literally ever had!! She knew what was going to look best on me, based on my hair type and face and she even took into account the fact that I don't like to spend time doing my hair, so it takes no time at all to make my hair look amazing in the morning!! My daughter tried to make an appointment and didn't hear back for a couple of days. On prom day my daughter had gotten to the salon 5 minuets early but the stylist (Robin) didn't show up until 15mins later. When arriving she told my that she is always late to her appointments. When my daughter showed her what she would like the stylist said she didn't know how to braid hair. She came home crying in how horrible it had came out. It was horrible. The bun that sat at the top of her head was very tatted out and heavily hair sprayed ( like if she were going to star in a Brent michael's video) I called to explain what happened the stylist told us to text her a photo in what she messed up but at that point my daughter tore her hair down and had to rush over her friends house to redo her hair and do her makeup. The "stylist" was very rude and then accused us of wanting a free updo. What a very professional lady. $60 down the drain. I don't not recommend. RSVP Salon is a quaint salon with one of the best stylists you will find in our area, Jett Rowland! If you want a look that is sexy, sophisticated, trendy or causal Jett can create it! I found Jett several years ago when she worked at another salon and followed her to RSVP. A much nicer atmosphere at RSVP. If you have ever colored your hair you know how difficult it is to find someone outstanding in this area. Jett is a certified hair colorist and is amazing!
