Unfortunately I cannot speak to the in person service and ambiance because I ordered my food. However, the quality taste and presentation was 9/10. I ordered the jerk salmon with a side of cabbage and Rasta pasta and let me tell you it was chefs kiss. I tore my food up it was so good. The salmon was seasoned exceptionally well and the pasta was great , I tried the cabbage first and it was so good I ate it all before diving into the rest of my meal. My daughter got jerk chicken and Rasta pasta and my Dad got jerk chicken with rice and peas. My daughter lovesld her food with no complaints and my Dad enjoyed his jerk chicken the most noting , the rice was dry but the jerk sauce from the chicken helped. If you are getting the rice ask for sauce on the rice to help with the dryness. Also the portion sizes were very generous, they had left overs and we ordered a medium. I will definitely get this again and the next time I'm in town I will go in person! I have to see where such great food came from! read more

I unfortunately had to change my high opinion of this establishment. Disgusting service via phone when I called to find out why my order kept getting pushed back. Waited over an hour for my order..when I called, the manager who is apparently at a totally different location, told me they were out of jerk chicken and that I needed to cancel the order. I explained to her if I canceled the order I'm going to be charged. I also explained to her that as a merchant, she has the option of letting me know VIA THE APP that they're out of the item AND then cancelling the order..She stated that she can do neither, which is a blatant lie..!!!! I ended up having to cancel the order and now I have to dispute the charge with my bank since getting a refund from Ubereats is NOT an option if customers cancel the order. If you don't want to be charged for food that you may not get, I suggest you DONT order from here!! read more

The joy I'm feeling as I type this review is indescribable. FINALLY, I have found a PROPER Jamaican restaurant with PROPER JERK food and for a reasonable price. The chef is in the back GRILLINGGGGG that meat- oxtail, chicken, goat meat, beef ribs. Meat, that I as a Jamaican, never imagined could be jerked, they jerk and it's delicious. The flavors and the tender meat- just wow. This is literally a gem in for the state of NJ for sure. I'm telling ya'll, I have been to MANYYYYY restaurants and the jerk is always baked. Jerk chicken fresh. I got it towards closing and it was still fresh and hot. Sweet jerk sauce still spicy. Great flavor the pasta creamy Parmesan taste I literally love it. It is also just the right amount of spice. The quantity of noodles wasn't what I was expecting it was not a lot of noodles. Definitely should add some more noodles for $21. The food is very good tho. If you want GOOD food, you need to stop by! I heard they recently opened and a friend and I stopped in to check them out. WOW! I ordered some jerk chicken, a drink and a red velvet cake! WOW! I can't wait to travel back that way to try them out! Its a small space, so it isn't a "dine-in" spot. They did have some outside seating, but not for a lot of people. I loved the backroom wall as well as the decor in the insider. They have this cute wall with their sign so you can get that Instagram picture. It was nice and clean. Stopped by here by chance since I have seen this place pop up on a couple social media pages. They mentioned this was one of the best Jamaican joints in the area. By no means am I a connoisseur on Jamaican food but this was really good. The Jerk chicken was juicy and had a nice grill/char taste with a good kick of that jerk marinade. Sometimes it's a little bit dry but I feel like they need to make a type of green spicy sauce instead of the sweet sauce all the time the Rasta pasta used to be really good when they first open now it taste like they put a bag of sugar in the Rasta pasta hsd ti spit it right out , and they should consider putting the meat is Halal. Ordered cabbage this time. I paid close to $9 for two orders. The portions were so small that I actually called to complain. Overhead cost can be expensive but cabbage doesn't cost that much.
