My puppy was sent to Ruth and her husband, owners of AZ dogs, to work on one behavior, eating…read moresocks/soft cloth objects. I paid for a one week "board and train". My puppy returned back to me dirty, smelly, and incredibly sick. Beginning Friday evening (he was returned back to me that day), he pooped out a sock. He did not eat. Saturday afternoon he pooped out part of a red toy. For the following week, he went on to eliminate another 7 objects (socks and soft toys) that were all ingested while in the care of Ruth. He was admitted overnight to the animal hospital two times in the two weeks since getting back from training and visited the vet two times. While in the animal hospital they found a large soft object that was still stuck in him. This was object 10. I had no idea he had 10 items in his body when he returned back to me that Friday which explained why he stopped eating, drinking, couldn't sleep through the night, and became lethargic (all of which is what led to me seeking medical care). All of the medical expenses totaled $6,000 last month but the worst part was having an extremely sick puppy for 3 weeks straight and Ruth taking no responsibility, stopping all communication, and blocking my puppy's Instagram before she ever even replied to my first email explaining everything that had happened. Thankfully my pup is home and recovering but is down 8 lbs from this whole situation that lasted a month, and awaiting the vet to determine what will be done about the kinks in his intestines from passing so many objects back to back. Not only did Ruth not train my pup but she was negligent in boarding him by not keeping a close eye on him while knowing his history and why he was with her in training. My puppy has been to day care and boarding many times at another reputable dog facility in charlotte and not once has he returned with any foreign items in his body. My puppy attended week long board and train with a reputable trainer in Florida when I first got him to work on different puppy behaviors and basic commands. Again, he never returned home sick or with anything in his body. This has been a disaster.

He would bark at any strangers that approached us, even though we knew he is a total sweety. Ruth's approach of positive reinforcement is a game changer and has helped Bodhi gain confidence. We can now have him join us in public places and is very well mannered. He walks so well now I leash. I would highly recommend Ruth to anyone who needs help with training, basic obedience, and walking on leash. She is fantastic and truly understands dogs and their needs.

Communication and follow through with the company is awful. I called their office six times since…read moreMarch to recover $200 that I overpaid in error for dog training services. I've yet to receive that reimbursement as I'm told by the office manager/admin that the owner - Mark - has to "approve" the check being issued. There is no dispute or discrepancy with my account, I clearly overpaid by 2 $100 payments. I asked numerous times for Mark to call me directly but was told he was too "busy". Mark - I must say that I'm disappointed. I'd been satisfied with the training that was provided to me by your company. The fact that I've been trying to resolve this seemingly easy transaction since March is ridiculous. If you're thinking about using this company, make sure to keep a close eye on the administration of your account. They are quick to call you if you owe them money but if they owe you something - forget it!! So unfortunate.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! We do NOT recommend Mark or his company Dog Training in Your Home. They give…read morea great pitch and sucker you in by committing to a tailor-made program for your dog...then you are required to pre-pay for the service. HUGE mistake... Once they have your money they quickly lose the motivation to work for you. I was a little hesitant about prepaying but this company came recommended by my vet. We signed a contract for a minimum of 5 visits (1 per week). We have only received 4 training sessions since OCTOBER 2015! We tried multiple times to schedule a weekly standing appointment only to be told that their computer system does not allow you to schedule more than one appointment at a time. Mark is entirely too busy and is just a poor businessman... Constantly running late and twice cancelling our appointment b/c of over-scheduling his day. I contacted them in January 2016 to ask for a refund since they have not met their contractural agreement of 5 consecutive training sessions but so far no refund and no return phone call from Mark, the owner. I paid $695 and DEFINITELY did not get my money's worth! I hope this review saves others from being taken advantage of. Go with a reputable company such as UBER Dog and negotiate a pay as you go scenario.

I have a monthly parking spot in an uptown lot not far from the Bank of America (Panthers) stadium,…read moreand because I pay a reasonable price ($55/month), I've rated this business with two stars rather than one. I would give more stars because the lot is safe and well lit and fairly well maintained, but the one management experience I've had has changed my tune. If you foresee ever having to make an inquiry or resolve a conflict, best you deal with another parking company. Full disclosure: my partner of five years and I live together, share a car, and work two blocks away from one another, which means that we commute together. He manages a restaurant and works on Sundays. I am an attorney, and although my "formal" work hours are Monday-Friday 9-5, it's more like Monday-Friday 9-5 plus however much time it takes for me to get my work done. Saturdays being our only "formal" day-off together, I come into the office to get extra work done on Sundays rather than Saturdays. I drive him in and drop him off if I'm not coming to the office. Prior to purchasing my spot, I inquired as to whether I would be able to park in the spot on Sundays--even during football season--and I was assured over the phone that, despite the contract's plain language stating that "Event Parking" is not included, I would be able to use my spot to get to work so long as I was not parking for the special event. Brenda, who handles EZ's day-to-day customer interaction, was very nice. When the parking lot attendants began giving me a hard time, I emailed Brenda to see if she would put in writing that I can park in my spot. No response. When I called, Brenda was again very pleasant, and she passed me on to her manager, Elaine Gherardi. Although at first, Elaine spoke kindly to me and said she would "take the day" to think about the options she could extend to me, the conversation immediately escalated after I said that I hoped she would take into consideration the fact that I was assured prior to contracting with E-Z that I would be able to use my monthly spot on game days. It's as if she exploded. First, she retorted that "monthly parking in the city of Charlotte, North Carolina, means Monday through Friday" (i.e., weekly parking), information which appears no where in the parking contract. Next, she accused me of "lying" to her and trying to take advantage of her parking company to go see the Panthers games, which is not only untrue, but also a bizarre and terrible way to resolve any customer-service conflict. Then, she pressed me about my weekend work schedule, and after I explained my situation (my profession, the work load and hours, and my family structure/schedule, as explained above) and assured her (in hopes to deescalate things) that parking on the weekends had only recently become a problem because of the end of the regular/playoff NFL season. She responded, rudely, that I don't "have" to work Sundays, that I have "fourteen other days" during football season to come to work on a weekend (?), and she said that I "only come in on Sundays because of [my] boyfriend." No surprise that I never received a return call or email after she abruptly hung up on me, even after I followed-up (since, after all, I still had to deal with the parking lot attendees on Sunday when I came into work--not the game). Elaine's tenor was offensive and completely unacceptable for a person in her position in a customer service/HR industry. I pay for a monthly spot so that I can come into the office and get my work done on any day of the month for which I pay (contract exclusions aside, of course). Elaine is absolutely correct that I don't "have" to come in on a Sunday; I "choose" to so that I may keep my job and do it well--just like I don't have to have a job, but I choose to be employed so that I am able to avoid creditors and homelessness. Do I arrange the little part of my work schedule that I am able to control so that my partner and I see can each other? Of course I do, reasonably so. My private family life is none of her business, and nor is my work ethic. It's a shame this small issue snowballed into such a rude and intrusive interaction when it did not need to. But, people be crazy! Another FYI: EZ Parking changed their monthly rates so now they are not in fact very economically competitive in the area, and they never updated their monthly fees online.

We were suppose to get free parking. However, we were told by these crooks we had to pay $25.00 and the "City of Charlotte" told them to do so.
