I got the WORST manicure of my life at The Nail Boutique. She never soaked my hands or put any…read morelotion. She was using Sally Hanson products from Walmart on me. All she did was make each nail a different length & shape. She seemed shocked when I told her I wanted them the same length. She spent 7-10 minutes messing my nails up. I also, got the most expensive pedicure & she didn't remove the calluses. When I asked her to please work on them more there was an up charge (they're still the same as when I went in). $20 up charge for gel polish. I'm not even charged that on Maui. Do your self a favor & go somewhere else!! I wish I hadn't of paid. This place is the literal worst. UPDATE: The bigger question is why is MANAGEMENT of the salon so quick to call every bad review a LIE? Because they know it's true, perhaps? In fact, that is the case! BUYER BEWARE THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! If the nasty management wants to leave, another ugly deceitful reaction, I'll upload pictures too they're awful! Helen was a great manicurist! She painted my daughter's nails and even added pretty stickers on her nails! They are a fantastic family business and it feels so good when you walk in! I appreciated they were able to squeeze us in last minute (we called for appointments that morning), and it seems it was just in time as a large group came in as we were finishing up. They used the 'drill' tool to remove most of the gel. I'm not usually a fan of this, as it this out the nail (the nail tech even recommended to put some nail strengthener on when we got home). I've had other gel and dip removals, and while they do use the drill to 'roughen up' the nails before soaking them, they usually try to do a bit more peeling than just drilling it all off. Plus, the tech nicked two of my toes a bit when removing the pedi. Not badly, but enough that they are sensitive two days later (and see my previous experience about getting nicked during the pedicure). Pricing is also still high-it was $30 to do both removals. I want to support this place, and I likely will continue to do so to get nails done, but maybe will just do removals on my own or go elsewhere for that part.

After the nail tech recommended I get dip powder nails I agreed but it went down hill. The nail drill burned me multiple times that left visible marks. The French tips were very uneven and the nails were uneven and bumpy. Edit: everyone else in the bridal party had a similar experience. Uneven nails, and burned off skin. My sisters nail tech even made her change the color she wanted to get her nails because the nail tech said "It's a bit ugly" (all she asked for was a white to pink ombré)
