I went with a group and they handled us very well with rotation and combinations. I had the massage and facial combination, Cassie was amazing. I wish I had gotten a double massage. The facial was ok but it's not a service I normally indulge in and there wasn't anything fantastic about it or different that would make me want to get another. The place is very tranquil and relaxing. A variety of teas were offered, mimosas and fruit infused water. The area we waited in as a group was nice. I am a detail person and wish that instead of house slippers that they had spa slippers and matching robes. Most rooms the robes matched but with my luck the ones in our room didn't. The were comfortable robes but just wasn't the quality I am use to at a spa. Overall I would return for the massage. They were priced well and it's a place I would use again if I am in the area. I've been coming to Ruby's for awhile now to get facials. She's recently moved to a bigger suite and is offering massages. I went in to give it a try and got a massage from Amber. The ambiance was nice and relaxing and very comfortable. The massage included hot stone and was overall great! Ruby is absolutely amazing.I was schedule for full Ruby Facial treatments. It's a great treatment for someone who is not going often to facial treatment like myself. She used a lot of minerals and vitamins on my face, she removed all the blackheads and dead skin. After the entire treatment she applied 30% tinted sunscreen on my face. I was looking to get a facial for my teenage son before "back to school" because football season always does a number on his skin. I read the reviews for many places online before settling on Rubyz. We showed up for his first ever facial on a Saturday and he was a little hesitant and unsure what to expect but Ruby made him feel extremely comfortable and talked him through the whole process. She is very knowledgeable about skincare and gave us some great recommendations on how to care for his skin during football season. I actually scheduled an appointment with her for the following weekend for a facial myself. I treated my family to an outing here; my daughters got as well as myself got Henna tattoos and my spouse received a Medical Massage and Male Facial. The ambiance is very soothing and the staff was very friendly. My spouse loved his massage and his facial. I noticed an difference in his appearance immediately. His skin was clear and his under eye was visibly brighter. I've had facials before and I've never seen a difference immediately after. We loved our Henna tattoos, my only issue is that one of my girls started out with red ink and was completed in black so when the Henna ink dries she has two different colors. I got a Groupon for 50 minutes facial and 50 minutes Swedish massage for $69. I did not have high expectations given the price but hey it was a fab deal so I couldn't help myself. Upon getting there I was overwhelmed by incense or rose perfumes. It was giving me a headache- not a good start. The massage was perhaps the most painful and uncomfortable one I've had in my life. I had to tell the lady to ease up a few times and still I felt I was being pummeled. I was literally hoping it would be over soon. I was soooo relieved when it was finally over- there was not an ounce of relaxation in me. The facial was OK. The lady tried to up sale some red hot facial to me saying I would be 'glowing' after wards but there is a burning sensation initially. No chance. I scrambled out of there as fast as I could. I had this huge nagging pain around my neck and left shoulder. A friend recommended Rubyz Day Spa located in Frisco, Tx for a theraputic massage. I made an appointment for 1 hour Therapeutic massage. During my appointment I emphasized on my pain areas with my massage therapist and I'm here to tell you that I only wish that I had made my appointment lot sooner. The place was super clean and from the owner to all the staff was super friendly. They listened and showed me a great deal of respect , courtesy and professionalism. Oh and my pain it's all gone. Scheduled an appointment online, received two text messages confirming my 10 am appointment for Friday. Went to the location, doors locked. Waited 10 minutes and no one showed. Called the phone # on the front door and was told they are closed. A posted note on the door stating closed, calling me to cancel or updating the schedule making software with closures are all options that could have prevented this poor customer experience. read more

I took my wife here for a couples massage for her birthday. I made an appointment first, then out of curiosity went to yelp to read the reviews. A lot of negativity, and I went into the massage with a negative feeling. Fast forward to the end of the massage: Awesome! My wife and I get massages occasionally and each time we have been to different locations around frisco - mostly due to scheduling issues or convenience. I'm military so I normally have short windows of opportunity to schedule this kind of event or service. The masseurs were very professional and accommodating. The ambiance was relaxing. My husband got me a package for Mother's Day for a hour long facial and hour long massage. The massage was not bad, but she was very hard, and I was wincing several times. I told her to go lighter and it didn't make a difference. The lights in the massage room were so bright and I was laying face up for most of it, with the light blinding my eyelids. After asking if it could be turned down, and being told no, I was offered a "eye pillow" which was basically a bean bag I laid on top of my eyes, no band like a face mask. The CD player also seemed to not be working, so there was no calming music playing. The masseuse tried to fix it, to no avail, and wasted 5 minutes of my time. The facial was the worse of it. The owner did it, and I guess their receptionist had called in that day, so she left 5-7 times to answer the phone while doing my "relaxing" facial. She initially tried to up-sell me a different package for $40 more. So thankful I declined. Every time she left and came back, the hot towel on my face was stone cold. At the end she slapped on some cinnamon plumping gloss ( which I can't stand cinnamon) and it was not even applied right, like half on my face not lips, and then she rushed out. I felt very rushed, and it was over after 45 minutes ( not an hour), let alone the fact that I probably missed out on an additional 15 minutes worth due to her constantly leaving the room. It was the worse facial I have ever had, and will never return. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Ever. read more

I let them know when booking that I had never had a spa treatment of any kind (excluding a mani-pedi for prom back in high school) and the wonderful lady who did my treatment was so kind, communicative without being overly chatty, and patient. I found Rubyz online while hunting a good salon in Frisco area. We spend A large amount on our skin, it's very important to trust your esthetician, in a safe clean environment. When I made the appt I wanted a facial and detox body wrap. I am getting over an upper respiratory infection so I thought that would be helpful. When I called, she made a suggestion for massage, so I booked that as well. She was not forceful, just informative on why she suggested that. I agreed. She was very polite. I want to note the reason I chose Rubyz instead of my other spa was because their website was really nice and informative. They have a wide array of wraps and massages, facials, peels, sauna etc. I arrived right on time. Filled out a couple sheets about myself and changed into a robe to sit in the sauna for 20min. As soon as I arrived I saw the variety of salts, lotions and skin care for retail sale and I knew I picked a great spot. Several items I use at home on a weekly basis for detox, aches etc. if you have ever had a massage or wrap you know how imortantbwater your water consumption is. They consistently give you water and make sure you are doing ok or if you needed the bathroom. I liked the rooms bc it had room for two treatments. Two beds etc. that's always helpful to know bc that means you can accommodate it into your ladies day with a friend. I first did a detox wrap (first time). It was amazing! You get bundled up in hot wet wrap that has been soaked in herb and oils that smell amazing but they help your body detox toxins. Very relaxing and effective. I was literally sweating so much out by the end. That really prepared my body for a good massage. My skin was so soft and I was so relaxed. My massage therapist was very friendly, professional and helped me out a ton. She helped me breath better and clear up my infection with certain scented oils. Then I went for a facial with the owner. I cannot tell you how much I adore her. She is from Pakistan and uses organic products that smell awesome and work really really well. I have oils skin and m trying to get it recovered from a bad hormonal season. She didn't fuss and she didn't say it was hopeless. She explained to me what she was doing and using each time, told me she could help and advised on what to use. Again- it was not a forceful sale, it was a suggestion. She also upgraded my facial, allowed me to use a groupon deal and have me extra samples. Usually someone says come back in a couple weeks, she said just once a month and begin to exfoliate, that's pretty much it. I bought all three products she suggested, you only get one face. The Products are from Hungary and they are organic, which I love. We chatted, she didn't pressure me to make another appt or but anything more than what I needed. The owner really is very sweet, she cares, she is accepting of your flaws and wants to help in the best way. She won't advise something you do not need. She hugged me when I left and said call if I had any questions at all! Couldn't ask for a better spa to try and now call mine! I would recommend this to anyone. They have so many services. For men.
