My husband gifted me a Spavia Day Spa massage for Mother's Day earlier this year and I decided now…read morewas finally the time to use it! Please don't let the online scheduling portal detour you from enjoying the luxury and superior customer service Spavia has to offer. I wouldn't even bother trying to book an appointment online if you're a first time guest - just call! Per other Yelpers, I booked with John because I enjoy deep tissue and apparently he is great (spoiler alert: HE IS THE BEST!!). Heads up though that he is booked weeks in advance, and yes, he is worth the wait! Upon arrival you are greeted with a warm neck pillow while you fill out a simple new guest form. Standard questions like "where is your pain generally located" etc. As an avid massage receiver, I've never been asked "what music do you prefer during your massage" or "what scent would you like?" The customization they offer is top notch and I appreciated the options. Once your form has been completed, you're taken back to the immaculate locker room and provided with a robe and sandals. This robe...WOW. It was probably the most lush piece of clothing I've ever placed upon my body. I wish they sold them at the spa because I would've purchased immediately with zero buyers remorse. You are shown a locker to place your belongings in with a lock, so you don't have to worry about leaving your purse/jewelry while you enjoy your chosen service(s). There is also a restroom and shower. Once changed, you migrate to the waiting area where water and tea is provided if you'd like. Okay, now to the best part, the massage... FIVE STARS. John was extremely professional, listened to my areas of concern and the 60 minutes felt like two hours. He was very meticulous and the pressure was exactly what I wanted, firm and deep. If you like firm, book with John. I can't rave enough about him!! Overall experience exceeded my expectations and upon check out I booked another massage with John and a facial. Thank you Spavia for allowing me to relax for once since having my baby 4 months ago!

The only thing that was a bit of a let down was the boxes and new counter still in packaging in the front lobby. However, the warm neck towel upon check-in made me forget all that.

After Woodhouse's most recent renovation, the Quiet Room feels like a Starbucks seating area, where I should whip out my laptop and hop on a Zoom call. Several small, dining-height tabletops and lots of tiny, hard chairs. What happened to the comfy chaise lounges with the big, fluffy pillows? There's a small water station (cool, no ice) and a few small to-go snacks, but that's it. I was led to the locker room and shown my locker, but never offered a water or mimosa, not even instructed to sit in the Quiet Room while I waited. Maybe this was because they knew I was a return customer, but still...

They have complimentary snacks and flavored water. There are also still cozy blankets throughout the room you can use. I will say the chairs are not super comfortable so which I would bet is to ensure you don't lounge around all day. The complimentary drink situation hasn't changed, but they have added clarification at the front desk and in the lounge. ONE complimentary drink is offered (wine, champagne, mimosa, tea) and you can choose to have it prior to your service or after. I would recommend if you are arriving less than 30min before your service OR it's busy, get your drink AFTER! There are only so many staff members and if it's busy your drink won't be delivered with enough time to actually enjoy it prior to your service. They have removed the door from the shower and replaced it with a curtain so it's easier to spot. HOWEVER, they do not offer towels larger than a washcloth, so if you plan to shower BRING your OWN towel! They do however have complimentary shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. For the first time I ever I included a facial to my visit. The Repair and Revive facial was incredibly relaxing and my skin looked wonderful! I do wish more instruction had been offered when I checked in as this was my first facial. For ex: - Do I wear a robe, or go in my clothes? A: Either. You take off your top and they have you wear a wrap before climbing under a warm blanket and lay on a table (like a massage). - Should I shower before because I won't want to wash my face after? A: yes. Sunscreen and other creams were added to my face so I did not want to shower after. -Should I have my hair done or leave it messy after a massage? A: They massage your neck and around your hairline with oils then wrap a soft headband around your hair to keep it off your face. I had a new woman giving my massage and a new woman do my facial and both were incredible. I have yet to request the same person when I return because truly no matter who I get, they are incredible!

The staff were very clearly in how everything worked from ordering at the cabanas to the access we all had. A couple of us did a spa experience and really enjoyed it. I did the immersive sauna experience, and let's just say it was an EXPERIENCE that's a little hard to explain aside from using the word "intense." We ordered food and drinks. Everything was delicious. I do wish that the bartender would have been in a bit of a better mood and greeted us with a smile, but maybe she felt overwhelmed with it being a holiday weekend. Nonetheless, she made an amazing margarita. I will definitely be back!!!

We arrived about 15 min prior, checked in, and found the locker room. The locker room is spacious with plenty of locker space, restrooms, and changing area. They have a bar area where you can order drinks and food with seating around. There were also water stations throughout. It was a hot day so definitely welcomed. You are also able to order drinks at most of the spring soaks using a QR code which we did. We got our towels and went to our first area - water temps ranged from 49 (Cold plunge) to about 104, I believe. I did the cold plunge for about one minute, lol. Definitely keep your hands out and breathe. We relaxed in others and chatted with a few friendly folks in each. Several had canopies above when to help block sun. I also did the immersive sauna experience which was my first sauna experience ever. I made it the 10 minutes - start hydrated, close your eyes, and relax. Overall, we enjoyed our time there and looking forward to the next visit.

It was a couple massage so it was done in a private room which was made ready for us & everything was explained in advance about our massages also they asked us for any special areas to be given extra attention while massaging ... we loved that the bed was nice & heated also neck support was provided during the massage which was a plus . Overall we liked the place & the massage experience. Please don't expect any frills like mimosa or big lounge area for relaxation or pools. We've had our fair share of massages in life especially at resorts and out of everything this has been AMAZING! Firstly, booking was easy and they have plenty of availability! We were interested in add-on/enhancements so we came early to discuss and Kai was awesome at explaining everything. We booked a Couple's Wellness Massage and my husband added the Apricot Oil and I added the CBD and we were offered a promotion for the Himalayan Hot Stones. The massage was a combination of Swedish and Thai that included stretching plus our add-ons and I've never felt better. We had dinner afterwards or I would've also gotten the scalp + face massage. I'm coming back to see Yoshi for it all...she was fabulous! My only issue was that at the beginning when we were changing someone knocked and opened the door immediately. Not sure who it was and not happy about that part cause I wasn't ready. They offered us drinks at the end and even took our pictures! The front desk receptionist is a photographer per Kai and he did got a great shot!

The updates to the sauna and steam room in the women's water area were okay, but 2 of the water features were overflowing and the waterfall in the 70 degree pool did not work. The change to robes and towel from uniforms took away from the authentic Korean feel. Most people just wore bathing suits underneath but I could see some people pushing the limits with this. The indoor saunas were the same mostly from what I could tell. But there were some touch ups. Doesn't look like the outdoor pools received much of an upgrade. The food at the pool bar too way too long. I ordered a chicken sandwich so not sure what the reason for the delay was. The drinks were pretty good. As well as the Korean food on the 3rd floor. The double in price from the pre renovation isn't worth it to me. It's definitely more of an atmosphere to socialize than to truly relax like you would expect at a spa.
