But otherwise, expect to book 4-6 weeks out. --Follow her easy to understand email instructions to confirm your appointment by text, and also show up 10 mins early to appointment. That's not too much to ask. --I am 40 and have never had a facial before so I don't have anything to compare this to. --I was surprised by how fun this experience was. Really pleasant and entertaining conversation. I felt like I made a real friend. --Viktoria asks some prelim questions about products you use and medicines you take. You change into a towel robe and the facial begins. I arrived at 3:50 and walked out at 5:30. --The extractions weren't that bad but the whole time I kept thinking how blotchy and red my face was going to look. But guess what? It was not blotchy or red at all! No redness whatsoever. She must be magic. --She did steam, extractions, a mask, infrared light, some other electric thing, moisturizer, massaged my head and shoulders, it was all really nice. Cost with tip was less than $100. --It doesn't matter if you go in wearing makeup or not. --Don't plan any workouts post facial- nothing where you'll sweat afterwards. --I have had no breakouts, no peeling, no negative after effects from the facial. My skin looks great. Even my husband said I looked younger. --There was no pressure to come back at any given interval, but I will plan to go every 6 weeks or so. I already booked my return appointment. --I can't think of anything negative to say. Viktoria is really wonderful. The only possible downside I can think of is that due to location, you're not getting the nice spa atmosphere, but it would cost twice the amount at a fancy spa and you'd likely not get anyone as well trained and experienced as Viktoria, so I really recommend Viktoria for a high quality facial at reasonable price.

I thought I was very conscious about my products and my diet, and then she politely steered me in a better direction. If you're looking for alternatives to anything, she can help you find them AND they will all be acne safe! In addition, if you have sensitive skin, she's your best bet. My skin is VERY sensitive and I have reactions to nearly everything! She tested different products on me and found a routine that was safe for my sensitive skin and even helped me toughen my skin up so it's not as reactive as it once was. Trust the process! It was also difficult to relax because the therapists were talking loudly among themselves throughout the appointment. The products felt cheap and not thoughtfully selected. I noticed they had oils, Olaplex, and even Dyson blow dryers with a diffuser attachment available -- which was exciting as someone with curly hair -- but none of those were actually used. The diffuser in particular would have made a big difference for my hair type. The scalp analysis seemed interesting at first, but it felt more like a gimmick. My scalp has been inflamed lately due to the winter, yet I was told my analysis came back "perfect" with zero dandruff. That didn't align with what I've been experiencing, which made the whole consultation feel surface-level rather than personalized. Overall, I think these places gain popularity because of TikTok and social media aesthetics, but the actual service quality just isn't there. For me, it's a one-and-done experience. She shows a love and interest in her work. I trust her. I was nervous that the sensation would be intolerable. But, to my surprise it was not bad. Ana was interesting to listen too and the time flew by. The settings I had in the past using laser were painful, but electrolysis is totally acceptable. The location has ample up front parking with a clean aesthetically calming environment. I previously worked for a nationwide company and used the Candela Gentleman Pro laser. While laser is effective, it is not totally permanent. Even during client assessments we acknowledged that laser is not 100%, considering 90% removal a success, and that electrolysis is the only permanent solution. Laser also cannot treat non-pigmented hairs (peach fuzz, blond or white hairs) and can trigger paradoxical hypertrichosis, and burn skin.
