I was disappointed that I hadn't heard back from Jacob, so I left a review here expressing that disappointment. Almost immediately upon submitting my review, the owner responded. A short time later, Jacob called to explain why he hadn't gotten back to me and apologized for having dropped the ball. While I cannot speak to the quality of their work because I did not end up hiring them, I am changing my review because I feel like the owner and Jacob reaching out despite already having lost me as a customer shows integrity and care that is lacking in many contractor businesses these days. Franko's team showed up right on time every day. They communicated with us each day and did a wonderful job. We had them build a 6' privacy fence with 3 gates. They also custom built 2 doors for our crawlspaces that match our fence perfectly. We also had them install a new back door that we had a hard time installing ourselves. It took them a while because it was a pain in the a**! But they never complained and installed it perfectly. They even filled in some holes our dogs had dug (with some excess dirt). That is above and beyond!! In addition, they took down 6 tall metal poles that were remnants of an old carport. They even filled in the holes with concrete without us even asking. He also gave us fair pricing and was very thorough. While there, we asked about our stairs and our deck. He quickly provided is a detailed and professional quote by the afternoon. There were two different crews who did the fence and the stairs. Both crews were professional and did a great job on the fence and stairs but also did a great job cleaning up. If you did not know, you would not have been able to tell they had been there except for the quality craftsmanship. While they were working on the stairs, I asked about replacing the railings on the deck. Within 45 minutes, not only did they have an estimate for the railings, they had the lumber delivered and were already working on it. These guys do great work and for any exterior projects, I will be using these guys. My neighbors installed a fence next door with a different crew and it is obvious our fence looks much better and the quality of work is exceptional. Highly recommend these guys.

Environmental Barriers came out and began work immediately. Halfway through installation of a…read morewooden privacy fence, the attempted to swap to a different color wood. Once we refused, the project was delayed for weeks while they found wood. Upon their return, they worked long hours to complete the fence and immediately demanded full payment prior to my inspection stating that there is no way anything will be wrong with the fence. I will tansition to a list format for convenience: * The gate was pitted, poorly stained, with screws not only visible, but protruding. * The fence posts wee not straight and did not have a concrete base poured. * The slats were secured using staples, not nails. * The fence was crooked with large gaps between the slats. * The gate could only be opened from the inside. One would have to scale the fence from the outside (which would almost certainly knock it down). These issues were raised and to their credit they fixed most of them. Once I paid I had a contract that states that I had 90 day craftmanship warranty. Since then I have found multiple slats that are poorly secured with staples still, and I can not get anyone to answer their phone.
