Not impressed with their products being sold. Purchased $2,700 French doors that were made of poor material and wood. They are already beginning to sag with weight after 1 month. They were also cut with no room for potential leveling issues in the house. We had to sand the doors to make them work and Of course my contractor recommended them and wants no responsibility for fixing the issue. I'll just stick with my gut and use Home Depot or Lowes for now on along with switching contractors. read more

t's hard to figure where this place fits. Most building items they carry are sold at a price very similar to a retail store, and the things that are discounted sometimes are so poor that you won't want to use them. Or they break during installation. Then when you go back and explain that some of the pieces broke when being installed you get a spiel about how you're buying at a discount, and a comparison with a retail price from Lowe's or Home Depot. The problem with that comparison is that the product would have been guaranteed and functional when sold by them. And when the retail dealers sell something less than perfect it comes at a clearance or reduced price which is often half off. Also these building material retailers will exchange, refund, or replace if there's any problem. Not at The Liquidators. The sign in giant letters makes sure you know that all sales are final. There's no exchanges, refunds or replacement of bad items at this place. The owner's intent seems to be to extract the utmost dollar from each sale. There's no attempt to get a satisfied customer with either price or quality. I guess the perception is that there's a new customer around every corner. It's really irritating to go there one day and be given prices then a day or two later when you come back to load them, you are given a different (higher) price and sometimes other conditions. You can save time and aggravation by just going to Lowe's or Home Depot in the first place. Better quality, attitude, interest, helpfulness, and maybe not even much (or any) price difference. Sometimes a small business can be better than a big one, but it depends entirely on the attitude of the people who own it. read more

These guys are good. I saved a ton by shopping with them. I can't comment on their doors and windows, but the trim is as good as the big box stores.... and discounted nicely to save money. When i am doing 8" base trim with a 4" chair rail and casing around doors and windows, you bet I will shop here for all of it. The guys i have talked to are great. Don't know who owns it, but they are friendly and helpful in loading my purchases. Give them a shot, you won't be disappointed. They close at 5 pm. So, if you need supplies after that, go spend more money at the big box stores for convenience. read more

We were shopping for a new front door and sidelights for quite a while. All the big box stores would nickel and dime you endlessly, many times 2-3 x what our original quote was. I heard of these guys so we took a ride up to Cumming, at first glance (location is simply a warehouse type setup) we were hesitant. However, after speaking to Dustin we knew we were in the right place. He showed us a choice of doors and sidelights and helped us with many recommendations. His recommended installer was outstanding, done on time,clean and correctly! I would recommend them highly and am now looking to add new windows when able. read more

Ordered a fiberglass exterior door with rot proof trim and paid 425.00 with delivery in 2 days. They would call when ready. After a week with no call I stopped by to pick up my door. They claim they made it but couldn't find it??? They said wait a minute, we'll make another. I watched them select a door from a pile and begin to apply the trim. I looked closer and saw it was a STEEL door (with a dent) and not the fiberglass I paid for! I left to run errands and promised to stop by later. Meanwhile I went by Lowes to get an exact matching quote. It was 367.00 with a 3-5day delivery! When I called to confront them about the inflated price and delivery issues they said they'd adjust the price to 325.00 to make amends. When I picked up the door and placed in in the truck they then said. Our original price stands because we DON'T BELIEVE your quote from Lowes. So much for the great savings..... read more
