This historic venue deserves better historic interior decor. I recognize the current owners didn't make the renovations to the space, but as a single screen venue...it should feel special, distinct and one-of-a-kind experience from front door to lobby to theatre. It doesn't. 2.) The online website and programming of what's on screen is not extra special. First run films are better left to the cineplexes. This space would suit a well-curated art house, classic cinema, and rarely seen films for a large swath of audiences in the Brazos Valley. I live right around the corner and the 50th Anniversary screening of Bruce Lee's Enter the Dragon was the first film since their launch (in current iteration)...it was fun to experience on a large screen. 3.) What is unclear from the online presence is that food can be served to your seat. I looked extensively in the sight but this was not evident to me until we arrived. The menu is very pedestrian, burgers, greasy fries and more fried things, and standard salads. Again, nothing special or unique. 4.). Why are tickets for future screenings unavailable since they are already advertised? Also, there was a lot of noise in the lobby during the film and the house lights did not come up after the film concluded. I WANT to support a local one-screen experience Downtown, but how I miss the reopening days of this place when it was diversely curated and a human being sat in the ticket booth to welcome you into the Experience of The Queen. Parking was super easy - right across the street - and was FREE!!! Yup - that is right - NO FEE for parking for a show you are seeing on campus and literally right across the street! There is NO BEER OR BOOZE here so be forewarned. I understand it's a university campus so that might be the reason. Booze up before you head down to your show (or sneak some in, you ninja!). Also only vending machines reside on the first floor with no options for appetizers or wining & dining time. If sitting in the balcony (any of them) you may notice the sound not carrying all the way to your seats. We had a hard time hearing Jerry and the comedian who opened up for him. I wasn't sure if it was the sound system or if it was how far back we were in the top balcony. Either way, it was a struggle to hear some of the jokes in between the audience laughs and any commotion happening near our seats.

The bathrooms were clean the whole time and stocked. The staff on site was very accommodating, and they even removed tables during the dance to make the dance floor bigger. Stephanie yelled at me after I asked her what kind of a sh&t show was going on! She does not answer her phone and provided zero direction in our planning process. It took nearly 2 months after our wedding to receive our deposit and overpayment because it got "lost in the mail". Look elsewhere, brides. Much better deals and less heartburn at other venues!

The prices stay the same (or go up), but the quality and cleanliness have definitely gone downhill. There are exposed screws, splintering wood, and several trampolines that feel worn out or completely broken. It honestly looks run down and not well maintained, which is disappointing considering how much they charge. It used to be a fun place, but now it feels unsafe and neglected. I really hope they start investing in proper repairs and upkeep because right now, it's not worth the price.

Arrived at 12:00 pm and thought ok, will wait until 12:15pm allowing for CP time. Walked up to the door and found a note attached to the door that stated: We are closed today. Sorry for the inconvenience! Well guess what Me too!! You have a Website, which was checked prior to leaving home, to verify hours and get correct address for directions. Your organization had the perfect opportunity to indicate that the Museum would not be open 9/28 until........ If you cannot be held accountable for the hours you have posted, you need to add a disclaimer to the website that states the hours posted are subject to change and please call and verify that location is open prior to visiting. Today I lost 4 hours of my life that I cannot get back and $22.00 worth of gas, because your organization was negligent using the communication avenues that was available to you. I cannot review the content of the building, however the outside is just as pictured, however the professionalism is a 0 for me. Not sure if I will be back or not, although the cost to enter is nominal, I feel like any future visit from me needs to be absolutely Free!!! Sad!!!

Then there were some stuff animals, bones and replicas. The final section was local Texas history. It didn't take long to see it all.
