Initially I met Mike, friendly guy, took a look at the damage, seemed very straightforward and honest, and broke down the quote into item costs, which he looked up, and estimated work time. He also said the job would be done in about a week. Maybe it's partially my fault for not getting this quote in writing. Three weeks later I had to call to find out what was going on. Two days later I received a call back telling me the trailer was done and that they had decided they needed to do additional work, which raised the cost from $600 to a grand total of $1100. I was frustrated, but was told the work was structurally necessary. I was also told Mike would call me the next day to explain the additional work, apologize for not following up when the scope of the work changed, and discuss the results. That never happened.

Automotive Concepts was a top notch install company (tint, lift kits, etc) maybe four or five years ago and then a few years after that they were good but not great and today they are just okay. I mean they are just O.K. in every regard, their prices are decent (not great), their work they do is adequate, and their customer service is hit or miss (goes from really good to pretty lazy). I still have some work done by A.C. from time to time but they are no longer my top choice. There are other companies in town that do what they do and at a competitive price and usually a much better customer service experience with better work.

But the warranty rep was rude and evasive. They refused to stand behind the warranty because they "no longer use that supplier that provided the step." I never got a call back from an executive. Don't buy from these guys. They don't stand behind their warranties.
