There's plenty of space for large parties, and you're greeted kindly once you enter. Unlike most buffets I've been to, at Dimassi's, you pay AFTER you've had your fill. Dimassi's Mediterranean Buffet is surprisingly not very expensive. Their food is freshly made, straight from the kitchen and everything at the buffet is always kept at the right temperature. There's multiple kinds of salads, hummus, meats, fresh veggies, pasta, beans, rice dishes, and desserts. Their pita bread and flatbreads are freshly baked from the oven. They even serve authentic Greek coffee. Most of the dishes are what you'd typically see in Mediterranean cuisine. While, there's some classic American comfort food mixed in. Dimassi's offers pick up orders, if you're not in the mood for buffets. I liked their chicken kebabs, but they're too thick. I wouldn't recommend the meatballs. They were dry and lacked flavor. The tomato sauce the meatballs were steeped in didn't help. The sauce was watery and very bland. Their Beef Kofta is delicious, but very rich, so I wouldn't eat more than one piece. Their rice pudding wasn't the best either. It still had chunks of rice. Dimassi's doesn't have much to offer for little kids. They only had cheese pizza, fried chicken wings, fries, banana pudding with vanilla wafers, and only one kind of cookie. I think I'll take my mother here sometime, though.

The soup dumplings are always a must but the thumb dumplings were probably my fave this time. The chicken and corn was good but wish it came with a sauce or something. I typically order pork XLB, chili wontons, cucumber salad and then maybe another steamed dumpling or two. I stuck with that and tried what was offered here. Passionfruit cucumber was... very strange. I was not ready for it. I did not like it, nor did my wife whom I took left overs home to. The pork XLB were some of the best I've had in Houston. I'll be back for those alone. Pork, shrimp, chive spicy sour dumplings were also very good though they should thin the wrapper more. Little gummy on the wrapper by the time it soaks in the sauce. The curry chicken and potato steamed dumplings were my wild card pick and they were good though there were multiple pieces of cartilage in them that was unpleasant to pick out of my mouth. On the whole I'll be back.

The man who took my order knew that y'all did not have any, but didn't mention it, and then when I got my order and brought it up to the counter to point that out, he said "oh we just sold out". I said, it's on the menu that it comes with the taco. It's one of the flavor points of the taco. That's the only reason I ordered those particular tacos. And it happens every single time that they're out. The associate said "we're not gonna buy five boxes of them and then not use them" which is a crappy response to not having something that is on the menu, and not telling someone until after you hand them the order, that you don't have part of the ingredients for the items you ordered. It's pretty uncool giving a super negative energy response to someone who is pointing out that you didn't give them a correct order, because for the fifth time of visiting this location, they do not have ingredients for the items on the menu.

Jacob and Matt took exceptional care of us and made our experience so much fun. Their energy, attentiveness, and hospitality were unmatched. We started with a dozen raw oysters and a half dozen Oysters Bienville, and baby... when I tell you they were to DIE for! Fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. I ordered the Chef's Special: Linguine Alfredo with shrimp and crawfish, topped with fried red snapper, served with green beans and garlic bread. Whew! Every bite was seasoned to perfection. My wife ordered the Salmon Latiffe with Brussels sprouts and rice, and it was BOMBBBB. Cooked perfectly and full of flavor. And of course, 4 reposado tequila lemon drops later, we were having the time of our lives! The drinks were amazing, the food was phenomenal, and the service was exceptional. Overall, this was an incredible lunch date with my wife. Amazing food, amazing drinks, and even better service. We will absolutely be back! 10/10 highly recommend.

Oysters were good, but they went too fancy on mignonette sauce, stick with simple red wine and shallots. Favorite was the crab and asparagus! Abby was amazing as well!

Drinks: my gf had an old fashioned, my friend and I got the petal punch and a fourth friend got a European beer I think and we all enjoyed our drinks. My friend and I agreed that the petal punch was the best cocktail we had both ever had. The lychee and mint is just PERF! Food: we tried as much as we could. The momos was yummy and came with a great sauce. The tandoori chicken drumsticks with the sauce, YUM. I knew it was going to be great. The veggie samosas were also wonderful. The mint chutney is my preference over the tamarind, but both were good. Chicken mungfali- 10/10 but wish it were a little spicier. Chicken korma- spicier than I thought but delicious 10/10. The Nutella samosas were the only thing that was disappointing. They were way crunchier than we expected. The picture of them made it look softer and flakier than it was. Especially with the price point of $16- was not worth it. Service: our server, Magic, was great to us and showed us all his faves. Inside: very lovey inside and very clean. We wanted to try some hummus, so we ordered the Mezze Plate, along with the Australian Lamb Souvlaki Plate. As we waited, we received complimentary salads (very refreshing) with lettuce, tomato, cucumbers, olives, feta, and onions, all drizzled with olive oil and herbs. The lamb was delicious: tender and well‑seasoned. The rice is parboiled, but I actually don't mind that at all, it was really good! The pita bread was very soft; I don't know if it's made in‑house, but it certainly feels like it. The tzatziki sauce was super creamy and so good. The Mezze Plate was great as well. The dolmades were good, the falafel was good, and the spanakopita (a large empanada‑like pastry filled with spinach and cheese) was delicious: pillowy, flaky, and creamy, all in one bite. It was served with small portions of tzatziki and hummus, both creamy and very tasty, plus more pita bread. We were impressed by The Great Greek. I love Greek food, so I decided to try this place out. I was greeted when I approached the counter. I ordered the Gyro Plate to go. There wasn't anyone in the restaurant, so it was very clean and quiet. It took about 3 minutes for my order to be ready. My dinner came with a good size salad, rice pilaf, pita bread and the meat. The meat was delicious. They don't give much pita bread, so I'll order extra next time. The rice was "ok". I didn't like that it had red pepper flakes in it, making it a little spicier than I can stand. Overall, I like it. I did go back and got a gyro instead of the gyro plate and it was HUGE and delicious! I unfortunately didn't get a chance to take a picture because I was starving, so you'll have to trust the Teller of Truth!
