This place is awesome! The samosas are the best. This restaurant seems to change hands every couple of years but the food remains excellent quality! I take my parents here when we are in town. It's been my favorite for decades! The mutton briyani and pala gosh and karahi gosh is the best. They have specials posted. A little bit pricey but worth it if you like good Indo-Pak dishes!

This place is... fine. I went with my husband and our friends; it was everyone's first time. The restaurant is in an older complex in a more isolated area of Clear Lake/Webster. We walked in and it was empty except for the counter girl. Next door, Dan's Pizza was hopping, though. So you order at the counter, get judged by the counter girl for your choices, and they bring you the food. You pay at the very end. I do like that they have cold pitchers of water for you to get from the fridge. I don't like that most of the entrees DON'T come with rice or naan. It was my first experience having to pay an additional something for rice. That's kind of ridiculous, right? The food comes out promptly. The food is very homemade. It's like a family-owned restaurant that pushes out family recipes. My husband ordered the chicken kahari, I ordered the chicken tikka masala, and we got samosas and garlic naan. The samosas were freshly fried but the breading was thick. It's kind of lacking in flavor. The tikka masala was very tomato-y; not as creamy as I like it. The chicken kahari was the same--very tomato-y. The garlic naan was excellent. The general consensus around my table was--it was fine, not good, definitely not excellent. Should've gone to Himalayan Taj, which is much closer to my house anyway. Disappointed.

Stopped by to get out of the heat and decided it would be rude not to have a snack. Friendly lady at the counter and also the servers were very engaging. I had daal which was pleasantly spicy and chicken keemah naans. So so good. I'm looking forward to coming back.

This place is phenomenal! Authentic! The Korma is the best I've ever had. Please note that they use the dark meat, cut up chicken with the bone in. This threw me off a bit when first receiving it but my first bite sent all doubt away. The garlic naan is absolutely amazing. The food was very fresh but not very fast. The wait was not extremely long. But not warranted for the amount of customers currently in the restaurant. I will definitely be back to update you guys on other dishes. P.S...My date did not like the Dal..but he isn't doing this review lol

Do not go here!! Here is my review. We ordered quite a few dishes. Pros: food came out within 10 minutes (because it was raw and rushed) Cons: everything tasted HORRIBLE! No flavor in anything. For example. The Shrimp in the shrimp biryani was hard and still had skin on it...... Will never return here.

Every once in a while I crave good Indian food and accustomed to going to places with lunch buffets. This place didn't have lunch buffet and seems like a hole in the wall type of place. I ordered the chicken tikka Marsala with garlic naan at the counter then sat down. When the food came out I was surprised that it didn't come with rice. I always assumed rice just comes with chicken tikka Marsala but apparently you have to specify an order of basmati rice which cost extra. I didn't question it and just ate it with my garlic naan. The sauce tasted different than what I'm accustomed to. It was more tangy and tart like tomato based compared to the more creamy yogurt base I'm use to. Nevertheless, it was good. The garlic naan was very good. It was like a very well cooked thin crust pizza without the toppings, nicely crispy and flaky on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. My only complaint was I wish it had more chicken in the dish. I was left not full. Had it came with rice, it would've been the right amount of food for me. The price was very reasonable. My entire order came out to be $11 without tip. I will definitely come back and try other items on their menu and will make sure to specify with basmati rice.

    Great Indian Food!

Drinks: my gf had an old fashioned, my friend and I got the petal punch and a fourth friend got a European beer I think and we all enjoyed our drinks. My friend and I agreed that the petal punch was the best cocktail we had both ever had. The lychee and mint is just PERF! Food: we tried as much as we could. The momos was yummy and came with a great sauce. The tandoori chicken drumsticks with the sauce, YUM. I knew it was going to be great. The veggie samosas were also wonderful. The mint chutney is my preference over the tamarind, but both were good. Chicken mungfali- 10/10 but wish it were a little spicier. Chicken korma- spicier than I thought but delicious 10/10. The Nutella samosas were the only thing that was disappointing. They were way crunchier than we expected. The picture of them made it look softer and flakier than it was. Especially with the price point of $16- was not worth it. Service: our server, Magic, was great to us and showed us all his faves. Inside: very lovey inside and very clean. Can't wait to come back again! I heard they have a lunch buffet but didn't see it on the menu. I need to do some research on that!

The service is absolutely incredible and accommodating with such a lovely atmosphere. I have dietary restrictions as I am vegan, and they made a wheat flatbread replacement for the naan for me. They are incredibly transparent on their food process and ensuring people with allergies and restrictions are able to eat their food. The food is fresh and you can taste it. I got the bindi masala at medium heat and it is my favorite I've gotten by far. The okra and onions are cooked perfectly to create a satisfyingly delectable flavor with a savory building up heat. The vegetable samosas are also my favorite in the area! They create an in-house sauce of brown sugar with spices, and it is my absolute favorite sauce I've had with samosas. It's better than chutney or tomato sauce. The sweetness and spices are perfect with the savory flavor of the samosas. The aromas of the varieties of spices light up the atmosphere.

We ordered the butter paneer and the chicken kadai, both served with basmati rice and naan. The paneer sauce was mildly sweet and spicy, and the paneer itself had a great texture. The chicken kadai was very flavorful with lots of spices and aromatics, and the rice and naan were both good. My husband also had a mango lassi, which was silky and delicious. Prices are affordable, and it's a great option if you're sharing with family. Overall, a very good experience.

I decided for the Tender Box which came with 2 tenders, 2 slices of white bread, pickles and fries. I went for medium heat level. The tenders were not like the flaky crust like Popeyes. The seasonings were very strong but yet bland without much heat. It tasted more like it was covered in spices than flavors. The spiciness level were like a 2/10. The fries were seasoned well and freshly cooked. The sauce that came with it also lacked a bit of flavor. It definitely does not taste like the Cane's sauce. It if did I'd say a very watered down version of it. It wasn't terrible but I think the meal would have enhanced a lot with the right sauce. The bread was just that. White bread. Not toasted. Sort of like when you order BBQ and it comes with plain white bread. I did take a couple bites out of it to help cleanse my pallets of the chicken. My friend ordered regular loaded fries. It came with chicken bites (like nuggets), with coleslaw and dressing on top. I think this dish was better made because it had a contrast of sweet and sourness from the coleslaw that balances out the saltiness of the chicken and fries. The ambiance and staffs were amazing, but the food itself lacked what I had expected. The chicken should have been the star of my expectations, but unfortunately it was missing something yet the dry seasonings overwhelmed my taste to where I could sometimes taste bitterness. The sauce also lacked flavor to make it for it.
