I didn't get pictures this time so I will do my best to describe it. I normally don't bother with food that is a trend of social media, but when you mention a chicken sandwich that makes the original Popeyes sandwich look like a slider you end up trying the viral sandwich. If you don't know, this is a gigantic sandwich. Some videos show a large sandwich while others show the chicken version of a tenderloin sandwich. If you have ever tried a tenderloin sandwich you know. We ended up having a version of each one. These come on a toasted bun with lettuce, tomato, mayo and pickles which is better than lettuce and mayo. There were fries and white macaroni and cheese. In other words, too much food. Seriously, share this meal with a friend. The fries at Chili's are decent. Good crunch with salt and pepper. I give them a 10/10 as they're a solid safe food. The macaroni and cheese was a white people version. By that I mean it was watery and somehow the pasta didn't mix with the sauce very well. I'd give it a 1/10. It wasn't a very safe safe food. Now for that chicken sandwich. Toppings were a solid 10/10. Chicken 7/10. It was cooked perfectly but it was too salty. I go heavy handed with seasoning but this was borderline inedible. Alright, that's the food. I'm going to give you a warning here. If you have a small mouth or TMJ, this isn't your sandwich unless you break it into manageable bites. I unfortunately went balls to the wall. I knew after that first bite I needed to eat with a fork but, I decided to "man up." Needless to say, I spent the day in a lovely TMJ flare with swelling too. Totally my fault. Just putting out my experience so you don't make my mistake. Chili's, I'll be back for this sandwich. I just ask that you dial back on the salt. Or give out a gallon of water with every order. I will probably forget all about the pain of eating that sandwich but damn, it's worth it.
