We ate at Rudy's today. What a treat. The food was great and inexpensive. The atmosphere is unique. We sat outside in a breezy area and were served at the table. It was awesome. I recommend this to anyone. We had the double burger, onion rings, and fries. My soda came in a chilled mug. read more

I am in town for a while and this was my first attempt at a local spot. The customer service was very friendly and cordial. They offered great suggestions on what to eat since I am new here and we decided o. The cod, Cole slaw, fries and a root beer shake which only cost $.99. The food was prepared fairly quickly and I enjoyed it all. If you are in town this is not a bad place to rest and eat. The fries are not the best but everything else was good. read more

I don't know why they call their Mayo with pickle relish " secret sauce?" They put so much of it on the burger everything else was sliding out if it. And the food we ordered was cold. Overpriced for the quality and not worth the effort . I would say go somewhere else where at least you won't get cold food ! read more

This place is awesome. We just got done riding the trail and required sustenance. Luckily, Rudy's was the first place we came to. The food was excellent, and reasonably priced. When you visit Rudy's you'll revisit an era before fast food became a dirty word. Excellent burgers, fries, cheese curds, onion rings, and root beer served (by roller-skated carhops!) in thick glass mugs. I was reminded of the A & W drive-ins I remember from the early sixties. But Rudy's doesn't feel like an exercise in cheap nostalgia. They don't pander to a 50's sensibility; it's more like they've been serving good food in a friendly atmosphere forever, and see no reason to stop just because so many others have. Beautiful place that brings me back to a time before my parents were born. With decade appropriate music streaming off satellite radio, and waitresses in poodle skirts hanging out food order off the side of the car, be prepared to enter a world where people drove just to drive and the cars themselves were works of art. The food itself is pretty basic, but well made. Delicious turkey burger! You should consider going for the basket. Dessert is mainly based in soft-serve, and not particularly great soft serve. But, the meal and atmosphere was great and if you want a DQ-esque "ice cream" treat afterwards, at least they save you the trip down the road. If we find ourselves driving through in the future, and are even a little hungry, we will certainly stop by again! read more

Great fried chicken filet sandwich, bun was so fresh! The super burger was really good, jalapeño cheese curds were excellent, just the right amount of heat. Enough for the two of us. We did not try the root beer but saw others ordering it, looked tasty! Prices are reasonable, no dining inside but picnic tables outside if the weather cooperates, it was rainy so we sat in our vehicle, food was delivered to the passenger side window, with a tray, ketchup and mustard bottles provided. If I could give this place 0 stars I would! First time we went here we ordered 5 pc chicken tenders and 2 banana splits. They gave us 3 pc tenders and MELTED banana splits. Literally right when they handed it to us in our car they were melted and liquid. My boyfriend likes their ice cream and wanted to give them another chance even though they messed up our order the first time. We come back a few days later and order dinner for us and my boyfriend's family. We spent $60+ and didn't receive the chicken tenders and onion rings. Btw, we realized they forgot part of our order when we got home and checked the bags. I drove back to get the chicken tenders basket and they did not even apologize for the inconvenience they've caused. Get back home and I remember my boyfriend ordered a cheeseburger that they of course forgot! I didn't even bother to drive back for another time... And surprisingly (not really) they gave us melted banana splits with broken lids that made the ice cream drip all over the car and floor! The burger was cold and the root beer float was made with flavored ice cream, probably because they didnt wait till the flavor syrup was clear from the machine when making it.
