Grrrrttreat local restaurant. Don't let the outside fool you there is a lot of seating inside. 2 separate dinning room. Hubby and I split the 10oz prime rib, well season and I think gave us the wrong size because Hubs and I couldn't finish it....maybe it's due to us filling up on the great salad, soup and bread. Spend your money elsewhere. I ordered a ribeye medium rare and it came out well, it was gray when I cut into it. They cooked me another one and it came out mooing. They took it back to refire it. 3rd time it came a little over medium rare. The waitress was very apologetic and said the cook was relatively new. I'm not sure I can even blame the cook as this was the skimpiest ribeye ever, maybe 1/2" thick at best and it was $40. My boyfriend had the shrimp Alfredo and the noodles were overcooked as if they'd been sitting in a pot of water. Never once did mgmt come to apologize but left it to the poor waitress to make excuses. This is a great supper club with a huge selection of meal options. Our food was fantastic and the prices were all very reasonable. I had the broiled scallops with a baked potato and they were delicious. My husband had the ribs and our son had the salmon and au gratin potato. They also have a very good salad and soup bar that's included. Everything was delicous and the service was very good even though they were swamped with customers, including at least two large tables. The owner obviously hires very good people who enjoy working there, you could tell. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend this place. I hate this place! As soon as you walk in here it smells like old people! not sure why this place is always so crowded and my co workers love coming here so much. The place is so dark, you can't even read the menus or see the food.. I saw a lot of old folks struggling. My coworker had to use his iPhone flashlight! Lmao my friends have dragged me here 3 times already and the food ALWAYS disappoints. I had their meatloaf, prime rib meatballs and some other shenanigans that were not memorable at all. Oh my Goodness you have to stop here!!! My Brother and I were coming home from Fond Du Lac, WI and googled restaurants in the Tomah, Sparta area. This restaurant came up on Google Maps and I saw it was a "Supper Club". We stopped right when they opened at 4 PM. We were so very so glad we stopped! Staff was very friendly, they all seemed to have worked there a long time. Very nice atmosphere, cozy fireplace, bird feeders outside the windows, separate bar, fresh salad bar with fresh rolls, crackers, soup, two types of cheese spreads, garlic toast. We loved the fresh salad bar. When our food came we couldn't believe how good it was. I had hash browns with Prime Rib and it was so tender, flavorful, cooked perfectly and seasoned perfect! We each had an Old Fashioned and they were awesome. We ended up brining some of our food home to enjoy later. Wow this place is amazing! We will differently make the hour drive back here for another nice dinner! I don't know why a few negative reviews from others but this place it excellent! I would highly recommend. read more

Great place to visit near fort McCoy, WI. Visited twice now for the all you can eat combo which was breasted chicken and cod. I had the cod broiled and got white meat for the chicken. The cod is seasoned and comes with butter and the chicken I seasoned and breaded well too. It's also served with a salad bar that has plenty of options. This place is usually crowded as well and the food speaks to the crowds. The only feedback is it does take some time for dinner to come up so if you're in a rush this may not be the best place for you. I would visit again and I highly recommend it. read more

So let me preface this with... I just moved here and my family came to visit me. I told them that club oasis was the best place to eat as I have eaten there before and absolutely loved it. The waitress was amazing.. the decor was lovely as well.. but the manager... was extremely rude and humiliated me in front of my family. I ordered a steak. It came full of fat and overdone so I sent it back. The refired steak came AS we were paying the bill.. obviously I told the waitress I didn't want it. The MANAGER had the audacity to come out to our table and mention that two steaks were cooked for me. Oh really? You mean the first one that was overcooked and the second one that didn't arrive until we were getting up to leave? 1 star.. Great service from the waitress... Absolutely horrible manners and customer service from the manager. I can't believe someone actually hired this "lady" to care for their business. Gross and classless. read more

We are eating our way through the Supper Club Book. What a great find. My only complaint would be that the Old Fashion wasn't muddled, but it had good taste. The salad bar was great everything nice and fresh except the broccoli. There was also soup, didnt try it. We both had ribs, they were fall off the bone good. I'd give this place 4.5 stars in reality. I had the tenderloin that was cooked to perfection that came with a side of I jus. My husband had the AYCE Friday fish fry, but he could only muster enough room for three pieces because they were so large. Meals come with salad bar that had the freshest rolls and homemade garlic bread along with homemade coleslaw, pasta salads, and soup. Highly recommend. Stopped in the supper club while visiting area. Oct. Sat night 630pm, not busy at all. looked nice. Server was nice then took our drink order. Things went south FAST. Server never told us about salad bar. I had to ask after we got drinks, and saw people eating the salad bar, she said "oh sorry". Wife ordered the chop steak. I ordered the queen size prime rib. We waited over 35 mins for dinner. My wife got top sirloin, not what she ordered. I got a rib eye ?? I asked about my wife's steak she said sorry I miss heard you. nothing else. I did not ask about mine since we were hungry and did not want to wait any longer. The meat was cooked well but no flavor at all. I cook a better steak at home. Wife asked for a soda. The waitress walked by after 10 mintues and gave her a a can of coke. No ice or glass ?? The salad bar was a covid nightmare. we were asked to wear plastic gloves and use sanitizer weird. Most people did not listen and used their bare hands ! But the staff with no gloves on was cleaning dropped food from the salad bar with bare hands. My server never came back except to give me the bill since I had to wave her down. The male/manager or host was wearing jogging pants and running shoes and was walking around clueless. Not happy. This was a hard place to rate for me. I was at a 4. My husband at a 3 but can't do 3.5 so I bumped up because of the service. The good: SERVICE! Waitress and bartender were so awesome. Friendly, funny, and on point. Felt so welcome. Ambiance was nice. Candles and tablecloths. Clean dining area and clean bathroom. Salad bar had lots of options and was fresh. Fried fish was hot and crispy fish was tender. Hash browns crispy and well seasoned. Nothing over greasy. Good on tap choices. The not so good: Old Fashioned and Pink Squirrel were very weak. Soup was luke warm and thin (ham/potato). Only 2 rolls left at salad bar so glad we both got one but they were cold and quite stale. My husband ordered the special (beef tips). He liked the flavor but the serving size was soooo small! Expected a more generous potion for it being a special. I think this was the main reason he went for a 3. He was disappointed in this. The kitchen staff was playing loud base heavy music that flooded into the dining area every time the doors swung open. Overall, I would recommend this location. JUNE 19, 2020 Below is the whole context of the message I exchanged with the owner, Joshua Schams, about our takeout meal, May 1, 2020 from Oasis Supper Club. Because of the Covid 19, we have not gone a lot of places since May, but on Friday, June 19th, because our son was here, we decided to get takeout again from Oasis. My husband called to order takeout and to speak with Joshua. He asked what Josh was going to do to make this up to us." Josh told him that I had said we weren't coming back and he hung up on my husband. As you can plainly see from the conversation below, I DID NOT say that we weren't coming back. I said that I didn't know when we were coming back. It is about 30 miles one way from our house. I though Joshua had just misunderstood my husband, so I called. Joshua yelled into the phone, wouldn't let me get a word in, and said, "I'm done with you people!" Then he hung up on me! Yes, he may have been busy, but what an immature way for an owner to act when HIS BUSINESS was the one that did something wrong. I did notice on his reviews (the bad ones) from several sources that he started out explaining some things, but then just gave up on answering any of the bad reviews. I had a professor once that said, "SAYING you're sorry doesn't mean anything UNLESS you do something about it. I'm going to try to be as objective as possible as I'm very upset now. I ate at this restaurant on 8/18/2013. My husband and 3 kids dined here. My husband ordered the ribs. They were not edible. The alfredo was grossly oversauced. We received 10% off of the ONE item (A whopping $1.60) we found to be inedible and a scoop of ice cream for our troubles. I reviewed this restaurant on another site and the manager responded with a series of LIES. He stated that we ate 1/2 the entree. We each, my husband and I, had ONE BITE. He also stated we had MULTIPLE trips to the salad bar. I made one trip. I called the manager/owner to try to explain why I felt the situation was not properly handled and he ACCUSED me of not paying the bill in full. The bill was $80-something. I left a fifty and 2 twenty dollar bills in the bill folder and departed. He said he had "witnesses" in the bar. He also said we ate 1/2 the ribs, because he saw it on surveillance. My husband offered me 1/2 the ribs and put them on my plate, but I didn't eat it. It was still sitting there. He wouldn't let me explain and hung up on me. I left this restaurant hungry. I felt ripped off and then when I called to have a CIVIL conversation, I get accused of being a thief. I sure would love to see how he responds to this review. He seemed more upset that his "investors" were concerned about the review than the fact we had a bad experience. Sir, you made it worse. And one more question, if I was a thief, why in the heck would I call the place I stiffed? Makes no sense. read more

You have to review this in the context that is is. A Wisconsin Supper Club. The *only* thing missing is the relish tray and the kidney bean salad (they opt for the salad bar instead.). I admit I miss the kidney bean salad.... We were up riding the Sparta Elroy trail and decided that a Supper Club was the ticket for dinner. This place had better reviews than Jakes so... why not. Why 5 stars? I almost did 4, but the service sent it over the top. I opted for the all you can eat broasted Chicken. Sadly, for me I really only like wings and thighs. Inquired if I could get just wings and thighs. "Not a problem" I was told. So I got the broasted Chicken. It as fabulous. Lightly breaded. Hot enough to burn your tongue (which is how food *should* be served, why do so many restaurants find this part so difficult????), wonderfully crisp and delicious. I asked the waitress which potato option I should pick and was told to get "potatoes au gratin" . Oh yes.. cheesy, baked with a dark crisp carmelized crust on top. Wisconsin potato heaven. The waitress was on the ball at all times. Never wanted for anything. The *only* thing I would improve is the salad bar. Needs a bit more options and the dressings are so so. But the rest of the food hit it out of the park. While I didn't order them, where else can you get Frog Legs but a Wisconsin Supper Club? Or add 2 to your order for a few bucks. Good stuff. Absolutely everything was delicious especially the macoroni and cheese. We are from the south so homemade mac and cheese is kind of a big deal and this was delicious. Club Oasis - this was our first visit and Ron Faiola's Wisconsin Supper Clubs book brought us on the 90 minute drive to find you. We are glad we did. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit as the bartender was bubbly and fun and it is always a pleasure to meet the owner - Joshua was full of stories and helped us learn more about his restaurant and his journey in the service business - congratulations. We tried a couple of Old Fashioned's at the bar - they were delicious and then moved to our table in the dining room of the historic, former officer's club of Fort McCoy. The salad bar in tremendous - everything hand prepared and fresh. She tried the jumbo shrimp and I had the broasted chicken and ribs with hash browns and cheese - everything was delicious - hometown cooking served generously with hometown hospitality - just the way we like it.
