They do a great job on my yorkie. They come on time and are very good with the animals.

My experience with this specific location was absolutely horrible. They are not consistent with the way they cut my dog's hair nor how they clean them. They pretty much just cut your dog's hair how ever they want. Previously they cut my dog's neck which I never said anything about because I wasn't sure if it was them. This will be the last time I bring my dog to this place. Today they had my dog there for 3 hours. I went there to check on my dog to find out they did not even start her. When they seen me come in they started grooming my dog , but rushed the entire process. My dog didn't smell like she was clean nor does she look clean and they rushed cutting her hair and she is very uneven. I will never bring my dog back here again. Customer service is horrible as well. read more

This spot is definitely the spot to go for your little guy or gal pet. Yesenia is a sweetheart and reassured me that my pup Chloe is in the right hands. Before them I had called several spots, some good and other's not so good and friendly. Several spots had availability pushed back to a month and others I did not feel comfortable bringing my puppy to. I will definitely be back and will recommend this to other's. read more

This was my first time and sadly my last time coming here. Although the haircut was great, they cut my dogs private area and now it's swollen and may be infected and she is very uncomfortable. I usually do not write reviews but in this case ITS A MUST !! This is my third time here, First two times the groomer ( pretty tiny girl) did a fantastic job. Today, third time was a different one . HORRIBLE, it must be her first week or month because she did s awful job. To the point that I wasn't going to pay (which is a first for me. She locked my Anddogs m and held them hostage and when I tired to get them she locked the back door on me !! My dogs were weeping , barking etc . I was able to unlock the doors and she started to scream saying that I hit her. Long story short, the cops came . I paid the owners came in and shame on them seeing the shit show that was done to my dogs they were going to fix it , please my dogs were traumatized . Also , short staff as well !! She had like 7 dogs in there and to be honest they all had horrible haircuts !! Go to NY PUPPY CLUB very clean and professional as well as excellent groomers . Btw no charges were made because of course not only is she the worst groomer but a liar as well. FYI - I paid $145.00 in cash so suspicious please I own two buildings in WNY AND YOUR MACHINE WAS DOWN. If you claim that I almost pushed down l. Your child PROVE IT ! And if you think these hair cuts are great then you should change your line of business buddy ! FYI - you weren't there when the cops came and I called the cops if you see on your VIDEO. The cops said I had to pay and they never mentioned about the dogs haircuts ! You saw me when I was walking out SO LETS BE CLEAR HERE ... I've been meaning to write a review for this place for awhile but it's always slipped my mind. As someone who has been to pretty much every single pet salon in downtown JC, I can tell you (without a doubt) that this is the best pet grooming service in the area. Best hidden secret, for sure. The prices are extremely reasonable, the pets are not put in cages and my maltese always looks great. My dog was always a nervous wreck before and after every grooming appointment with our previous groomer but that has never been the case with Paws and Suds. Just based on my dog's demeanor, I can tell that they take great care of their furry customers even when their parents are not around. They don't do anything to my dog. Don't shower him, don't cut his nail and he doesn't smell like showered.

they did a good job cutting my dog hair but what I didn't like was that they called me telling me my dog had flea so I went to buy him things to get rid of it . when I went home to check him he had nothing on him only a big cut on his neck that they did and didn't tell me about. my dog was scared and bitting my friend because she touched him on the neck but wait till they open on monday they gonna hear my mouth . When I initially wrote this review, I was upset. I thought my dog had been injured here because she was limping when she got home. However, after my boyfriend and I met with the owner, we feel differently. The owner accommodated us as best he could and brought us into his store on a Sunday (closed) to watch the 4 hours of footage that our dog was there for. There was nothing done intentionally to hurt her; the groomer and her helper were very gentle with her from what we saw. We appreciated him for trying his hardest to make us happy and giving us peace of mind with our Bella. read more

I took our cat here because she had some pretty badly matted fur on both sides. My fiancee and i tried to wash it out but had no luck. We decided to take her to a grooming place because we were afraid to shave her ourselves since cats have thin skin and she was very skittish if you touched the matted spots. Today was the first time we took our dogs here. One of our dogs is aggressive and snaps. We explained to her before hand and accepted our boys. She did an amazing job on our dunkin he looked so happy as well. Our other boy who has aggression ended up biting her when the muzzle fell off. We felt horrible but amazingly told us to try again and bring him in and with a different muzzle she would try again. That shows is she loves her job and I would definitely come back ! read more

I have two yorkies who badly needed to get groomed. I'm very picky when it comes to how my dogs get groomed because I've had horrible experiences in other grooming places. Heard of this place through a friend. Gave them a call and was quickly given an appointment within the same week I called. I had to reschedule twice and had no issues with that, they were very understanding. Leaving my dogs in a place I've never groomed them before always gives me an iffy feeling but I loved the way they came out !!! He is not playing, he is not eating, he is not his usual energetic self since I've brought him here. My dog has an infected eye, a red rash, and it appears one of his ears was cut. After a terrible experience at PetSmart in Secaucus NJ where my 4yo maltese was cut requiring 4 staples to close. I was scared to take him to get groomed. I was very happy to find this great grooming place. They were very thorough in explaining how they groom there clients dogs. They did an excellent job in just 45 minutes. They towel dried him & didn't put him in a cage. Unlike Petsmart where you drop off your pet for 4hrs where they are caged till some inexperienced hourly employ grooms them. First off let me start by saying my Sadie is a whole 10 pounds of nasty for anything grooming related. She's a very high anxiety chihuahua. When I made the appointment obviously I explained that. They made me feel very at ease and explained that at anytime if she gets too nervous they won't push forward with nails etc. (other groomers just say we'll get it done) so I drop her off and they held her for a bit and let her calm down. I felt at ease leaving her there, which is big for me. When I came to pick her up she looked fantastic and calm!! Her nails were done perfectly (takes 4 people and a muzzle at the vet). She smelled great and was totally comfortable in the shop. I can't thank you all enough. The nails and bath were just icing on the cake, you are the first (and now only) groomers that made her feel comfortable enough to get everything done. Under previous owner years ago we had a bad experience and were willing to give new owners a chance. We brought our Newfie in for a wash and cut, but quickly realized when we got her back that the groomer apparently has no experience with larger, long-haired dogs. She looked hideous, and to top it off, they actually tried to tell us that our dog was nasty and tried to bite the groomer! If you know anything about Newfoundlands, you know they are the most gentle animals on the planet and would have to be severely provoked to even growl at someone, and in our 7 years with her, she has not even done that. Also, a short time after picking her up we noticed her become lethargic and having a hard time walking and we realized she must have been sedated! Totally illegal and inappropriate without owner's permission. Needless to say, we will never return to this establishment. read more
