Just a verbal assurance that it was all handled. Disorganized about our arrival details even though we had put them succinctly in writing. They were apologetic when they told us nothing like this had ever happened before and they were embarrassed, etc but there was no suggestion or offer of sending another driver or providing a solution. When we texted that we still had not heard from the driver and we tried to call, we were unable to reach anyone for several minutes. So, we were left to deal with the situation on our own. I guess the silver lining was that it was our first service at the airport where there are options abound. Had this been our pick up going back to the airport things could have been MUCH worse. Michael, the owner, was charming and reassuring to talk with on the phone initially but utterly failed us.

I thought that story sounded a little strange considering it was a school day, but I accepted a limo van as an alternative. The owner indicated that the limo van would be a free upgrade from the scheduled stretch SUV. When the van arrived, I was very disappointed. It was a very poorly painted old activity bus with bench seating and LED lights in the interior. It was not even close to what any reasonable person would consider a limousine. My calls and texts requesting a discussion about my dissatisfaction were ignored - I mean not even acknowledged. I was shocked by the lack of professionalism and gross disrespect of a paying customer. I was even more surprised that any limousine company that considers itself to be reputable would include such a vehicle in their fleet. Never again with A Formal Affair.

I called a few weeks ahead to book and thought I had everything sorted. They were very on top of their game and send me contact info for a driver days beforehand and were very easy to chat with. Minutes before my daughter was getting picked up she called to let me know I booked the driver for the wrong date and he was scheduled for Friday (not Thursday). Oops! I called the car service in a panic and they said they could get another driver there within 30 min. Phew Douane picked her up within 30 min. I got an email when he was there to get her and again after he dropped her off at the airport. Really great for a worried parent who gets minimum communication from her teenage daughter ;) I could have gotten an uber for about $75 less, but felt safer doing this when she was across the country. I would definitely use them again for myself or children.

I called and spoke with him and he said not to worry about it because someone from his office would call the week of our scheduled date to discuss the details. Right after the call, I sent him a detailed text advising the hours I would need their service and received no response. The week of our service I received a call from someone in his office. I told her the times we needed the service and she said that was fine. At 3:30 pm the day before we scheduled his service I received a call from the owner during which he told me I would have to pay for an entire eight hours even though I did not need the service for that long and I had been trying to communicate this two and a half weeks prior. The owner argued and argued with me and kept me on the phone for an unnecessary amount of time. I would recommend you choose someone else for your transportation needs. I definitely will.

No other service was open or available. When I called Prompt Limo service and the owner said he would be there for us. Without complaint and super friendly service at 2:30am! It was not a planned pick up but he went out of the way to see us safely to the hotel. He also helped me in a pinch bec I had to go back to the GSO Enterprise before a certain time the next morning. The car was great, the kindness he gave was superb and the rates very reasonable and competitive. I highly recommend this service.

My wife and I contracted with Royal Limousine of Greensboro to rent a "one of a kind" vintage Rolls Royce 1965 Silver Cloud for photos on our wedding day. Rather than getting what we contracted for, without receiving any communication from the business alerting us of the change in vehicle, we were provided with a completely different vehicle that we could not use for photographs (we paid extra for an extended rental time). We attempted to come to a resolution with the business owner, who sent us this final message: "I honestly cannot believe you are still fixated on this months later. There is no moral violation here. This is simply a business adhering to a legally binding agreement. I will also copy and paste something you should read again before deciding you want to go to war with me. "If, for any reason, there is a problem with the reservation, the customer agrees to mediation/arbitration at their expense with a nonbiased attorney firm prior to making any slanderous or libelous statements about RL to any person, social media, review forum, Better Business Bureau, or in any other manner that might negatively impact RL. Failure to do so will result in a $3,000 breach of contract. Customers assume responsibility equally for any similar remarks from any of their passengers. Any mediation/arbitration or litigation will be subject to North Carolina laws. If any mediation/arbitration or litigation occurs for any reason as a result of this contract, the customer will be responsible for attorneys fees and court costs." At this point, I would just warn you that if you take that course of action, each occurrence will entitle me to $3,000 in damages for a breach of contract. You can decide to pursue mediation at your expense if you would like. Those average between $500-$1,000, but can help resolve things. We didn't show up with a Honda Accord...you were provided with another comparable vehicle per our contract. I do not have time to educate you on torts and damages on NC Contract law as this took me years of study as my minor in college and 30 years of business to perfect. My advice is to move on...All weddings have hiccups. [Wife's name] and I just got married last weekend and we had a few ourselves. Our DJ, that I have known for 15 years completely screwed up and could have ruined the ceremony. At the end of the day, we still got married! We aren't stewing over the fact that the DJ messed up. I don't want to have to involve my attorney and spend the next 6 months to a year pursuing legal damages against you, but I will to protect my company and my family. Either way, do not contact me again regarding this matter. If you do, I will file criminal harassment charged against you. If you need to discuss this further, you can contact [Lawyer's name] in High Point. He is my attorney and will take this from here. He will bill me $300 for each hour of his time for which I will include in the lawsuit he will be filing against you guys. Again, I would advise you take this time and celebrate your new lives together and move on from this matter.
