The location has beautiful grounds. I'm looking forward as a parent to curriculum night. They recently had a "father walk" where all the fathers walked their child to class in the morning. The teachers are all licensed professionals and are reallly good with responding to text and on their parent communication site "Blooms". I'm giving this school a chance. Class sizes are 16:1 which is what my kids needed.

It took more than half of the school year for them to complete the initial process. I requested my child's IEP before school started and they didn't even start the process until November 2024 when break happened. Then they didn't even start observations until January 2025. Afterwards, during the mid end of the year they stopped some interventions (February - March 2025), and when I noted concerns they said they would start them again, which I believe is illegal for them to do without proper procedures. Also, one day, I came to the school to pick up my child, and there was a child with special needs (autism) sitting on the sidewalk near the busy street. I got the child to come back inside of the building, when we came I went to the assistant principal and the school didn't even know that the child was out there. The assistant principal didn't even seem as concerned. She asked the girl why was she out there like it was the girls fault. How is that even possible. The teachers do not have proper educational materials to give the children. My child would receive hand written worksheets that were copied, and some of the information would be cut off. Then they would say they would have homework, but it would be something that a younger student could do and not grade appropriate. I feel like my child deteriorated education wise since being at TIS. I do not believe the new principal and assistant principal are suited to run the school. They need more experience in management, educational rules, and procedures. They come across as caring of a child's need, but in reality they don't have enough skills to handle the positions. The discipline procedures are bias, and not fairly administered. Also, the school is not proactive in planning for school events. Often times events would be canceled or delayed, due to lack of planning and preparation. I mean, overall, the school concept is great, but the administration including the CEO/Board are concerned about the business more than a great education. This is probably why the other school closed down and merged with TIS east.

I knew my 4 year old daughter would thrive, she loves learning and typically does well in any kind of environment. But I wasn't expecting her to learn so much while having fun, she loves all the obstacles and new things she gets to try. I thought my 2 year old son would really struggle, he can be pretty difficult at home but the transition for him couldn't have been easier. The staff is so loving and creates an environment perfect for his age group. We couldn't be more pleased we decided to send them to Fit by Five.

They make it very clear they do NOT want to have to work one on one with any child that needs it. Save yourself the time, money, aggravation. After multiple instances, we got to the point that we didn't feel it was appropriate to be bringing our child to this daycare. The staff is almost entirely white and it is definitely reflected in the way they disregard parent concerns about race and racism. More frustratingly, when we expressed concerns about these issues (they ranged from touching/doing our kiddo's hair to the way they handle discussions about policing), this center chose to call Children's Services rather than to have a conversation with us about it. We called and spoke to corporate and they seemed to acknowledge this wasn't okay, but not sure what happened beyond that. Furthermore, since then most of the office staff has refused to even look at or acknowledge my wife and I, to the point that I've witnessed office staff hurriedly running out of the office when we arrived or asking others nearby to hand us papers rather than just... handing them to us. I think this might be great for some parents, but I personally would never put another Black or Latinx child in this daycare (or any child, but especially kids of color), at least until they seriously revisit their policies and have some substantial training around how to work with/support minority children in ways that make them safer, rather than in ways that could potentially put them at risk of harm.

The Goddard School has been wonderful for my child. I always feel that he is safe, well taken care of, that the facility is clean, and that all children, regardless of race are welcome. My son is not of entirely white descent, and I have never felt like he us treated any differently than any other child in the classroom. Yes, the staff is primarily white, but we are in North Ridgeville, OH and when compared to local diversity, I would stay the staff is reflective of that. I have seen children of all races in my child's classroom as well as when when dropping off or picking up my child, all of whom appear happy, healthy, and their parents demeanor is the same. If you're looking for a place that you can feel comfortable bringing your child, feel confident in The Goddard School. Unless our life situation changes, I don't foresee my child attending any other school before he starts Kindergarten.

All of the activities and learning that my kid received at this school far exceeded my highest expectations. It goes beyond the education, they were just so loving and patient with the kids. There is no way I could have asked for a better experience for my daughter for a Pre-School!

There are many extra field trip and community service opportunities associated with the pre-school as well.

They were always doing fun activities and lessons. When I was out of work early and went to get them early, they didn't want to leave! I felt that my older son was very well prepared for Kindergarten and I know my youngest will be as well.

Both children attended the infant room. The women were great in the transition of going back to work and establishing and following the babies schedules. Moving through the classrooms, we landed within the Montessori Program. I cannot say enough good things about the Montessori Program. The teachers are wonderful and have thoroughly prepared both kids for kindergarten. The teachers and staff genuinely care for the children and want to see them develop and grow. The center is peanut free and very good with working with food allergies. The location is right off of 90 and conveniently located too. When looking for childcare, this center should definitely be toured and considered.

PGI Young Explorers is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I ordered a stroller for my new…read moregrandson in November 2020. Got a notice backordered and no idea when it would come in. I needed for Christmas. I cancelled order. Kept getting notices they can't cancel and I kept sending to cancel. I finally cancelled my credit card. It is now March 10 and I just notices a charge for the stroller and the shipping which was supposed to be free and never got the stroller. After 1 1/2 hours on phone with credit card company I got my answer. The company somehow found out I had a new credit card and fraudulently used my new card to pay for this stroller I never received. Chase is contesting it, but they told me the company has a special program that can find out you new credit card and number. So much for privacy and what a fraud. Buyer beware.

That peace of mind is invaluable. We were only planning on being in Aurora for 3-5 years and we're coming up on 4 years here - the only thing stopping us is that we (and our son) are so happy with Young Explorers.
