So, any time you deal with someone in Youngstown you proceed with caution. This was my first camper…read morerental experience and I admit I was a little skeptical. I questioned Chris thoroughly. Chris was surprisingly professional and knowledgeable! I told him I needed a camper to drive my mother-in-law, fun, and wife to see my just born Granchild in North Carolina. He told me he had "Minnie Winnie" available. I reserved it. I went through his website to reserve it because that is best deal on insurance rates that way. When I picked up the camper it was filled with gas, ready to roll, super clean and fully stocked with all kinds of camping amenities! I didn't need all the amenities because we had a house to stay in but, they are there for who needs them. Chris went through everything in detail. Pay attention when he talks so you don't miss anything. Everything in the camper worked! A thousand miles in "Minnie Winnie" and the only thing that gave me trouble was my Mother-in Law. The camper drove good and handled well. I am very picky with driving comfort. I'd rate Minnie an 8. For 500 miles a day she is fine. I got out with no issues As a reference I'm 57 250lbs. Almost 6'. Wife didn't like how driver seats don't recline but, that's not a deal breaker. Minnie is comfortable but, I'm not sure I'd want to do a thousand miles in a day. The V-10 Ford engine is known for bad mpg. I was dreading how much I would spend on gas. But, it wasn't terrible. I did the speed limits 70mph and that will reduce mpg but, we only spent around $500. Compared to plane tickets we saved! Overall, this experience was outstanding! If I rent a camper again I'll be calling Gallagher RVs for sure!

Our first time in an rv, after going through a tropical storm then a nor'easter we were a bit frazzled when we got back. Rented an RV online 4 months before our recent getaway trip. It was our first time rving so I…read morerequested the kitchen essentail bump up so we would have less items to pack. As time went by I was informed via email the original pickup location was no longer available and it had been moved to the Macedonia OH site. At the time I thought no big deal as it didn't really make a difference in travel time. A week before the pickup date I received an email to schedule a pickup time. I called once a day and left a message requesting a call back up to the day before the pickup day. On Thursday someone finally answered the phone and I requested a 1 o'clock pickup. They told me that shouldn't be a problem. Friday pickup say arrives and as I am driving to the location I received a call from the rental company, total fleet sales, asking me what time I was coming in. I explained that I talked to a person yesterday, arranged a 1 o'clock time and I was currently 10 minutes out. They stated they dont recall the conversation and had a limited number of rvs available but since I was about to arrive I would get one of the last ones. Upon arrival. We received a quick tour of the outside and inside of the RV just to note damage. When inquired about the kitchen utensils option. I was told they didn't know anything about it and didn't have anything like that anyways. Thankfully my wife packed some paper plates and plastic ware. We just ate out during our camping weekend. The RV itself was ok. Everything functioned ok. The shower stall was stained and needy to be cleaner. Fortunately the campground had decent shower houses. I will most likely not use this company again for renting.

We originally came in with one camper in mind, but he took the time to show us a few other models that were very similar while keeping all of our must-haves and budget in mind. We never felt pressured, and he was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely wanted to help us find the right fit. Nate in finance was just as great. He worked hard to find us the best loan options and made sure we got the best deal possible with our finances in mind. The entire process was smooth and stress-free. We couldn't be happier with our new camper and highly recommend RCD RV, especially Zak and Nate, to anyone looking for an RV!

It was relatively clean. Some hair and dust in the corners and some hair in the shower, but it wasn't bad. The bedding and towels were clean. Overall, we were very happy with the cabin and would definitely stay in the same cabin. We arrived one day after a really bad storm went through. The water and electric wasn't working in part of the campground, so we weren't able to use the pool which was a bummer. We weren't able told that the levels had to be checked after the loss of power and water, but when we left Thursday, it still was not open. Not their fault, but it was a bummer. We were hoping it would be checked quicker so we could at least try it out. There is a pond for fishing and we saw a lot of people catching. There also was a pond for swimming. The playground was nice and I appreciate that they put down rocks instead of mulch. For the littles, the rocks are just as much fun as the playground itself. We spent a ton of time at the playground. The air filled bouncing pad was nice also. At least once per day it deflated, but once notified they would send someone to reset it. My kiddo spent all his time there or at the playground. The gaga pit and the little dirt bike track have not been kept up with. We only saw kids once at the bike track. This is why I took away 2 stars. This was our first time at this campground and will be the last. There is so much potential but it seemed like nothing was really taken care of. There also was garbage all over that wasn't picked up the whole time we were there. On our second day, I was bored watching my kiddo jump so I went around that area and picked it all up myself. I understand it's hard to keep staff these days, but the garbages were getting changed every couple days so that person who drove/walked by the garbage on the ground could have easily done what I did. There were many things that just weren't fixed. There are only so many hours in a day and people can only do so much, but there were so many little things that could be done to make the campground cleaner and more inviting. Clean the bathrooms, clean the property, mow.. it all seemed so run down. There was nothing going on at the clubhouse and when asked about kids activities, we were told there weren't any. We have been to many "family" campgrounds and they usually always have activities. Even some state parks do. Again, probably a staffing issue, but we were disappointed. I may have missed it, but I don't think there was any food or even ice cream available which was a bummer. On our last evening, it was raining and my kiddo wanted s'mores. We were going to attempt to make a fire anyways, but our fire pit filled with water. There was no drainage. He then requested ice cream. It was our last night, so we walked up to the store to get him an ice cream from the freezer. They closed at 5. We had to drive 15 minutes for ice cream. I'd think the store would be open at least into the early evening in the summer time. Overall, it wasn't a terrible experience and the cabin was nice. We enjoyed our time, but we won't be back.
