a sandwich on a plate with a knife and fork

Super cute and fresh spot for lunch. Selection of burgers, salads, sandwiches, smoothies. Pay at the register and grab a table. Note -- it gets crowded quickly during the weekday lunch hour. I got their special fried chicken sandwich - almost like a Katsu fried chicken. Juicy and moist chicken. Avocado, slightly spicy peppers with this great bacon aioli which was amazing. Only complaint is that for a $15 sandwich there is no side. The burgers come with fries, which were cooked perfectly. The food is fresh and just beautifully constructed - you can tell that they take pride in their food. Love it here!

My husband and I stopped here for lunch today. The food we ordered was delicious and freshly made. This included strawberry mango and peanut butter and banana smoothies, the Lake Shore Bowl and Terrace Street Rice Bowl with Chicken. We also ordered a Hawt Honey sandwich to go which my son enjoyed. The staff there was very friendly and welcoming. They brought our food out when ready (which was quick) and checked in to see if everything was ok. The place was well lit and cozy, and parking is along the street or in the parking lot across the street. We plan to come back to try the other items on the menu with the rest of the family.

Such a cozy and inviting little spot! The warm interior and family-run vibe--complete with family photos on the walls--make it feel extra special. I love that the menu is small--it keeps things simple and ensures quality. Everything tasted fresh and well-made, and the homemade ranch dressing was a standout (seriously, I'd come back just for that!). Counter service was quick and friendly, which added to the overall great experience. Can't wait to return when the weather warms up and enjoy the outdoor seating. A true neighborhood gem!

I have had food both in-store and ordered for pick up. The food is freshly prepared, high quality ingredients with amazing flavors. I had the Terrace Street rice bowl with Salmon, and the salmon perfectly cooked! A++++. ALways served with a smile too! Friendly staff and great service

Though not huge, their menu is plant based with an assortment of brunch/lunch items like bowls, salads and interesting sushi, as well as smoothies and other drinks. If you're open to vegan food and uncommon items in a western diet, you'll enjoy it. The pad thai slaw and sushirito were delicious and well made and everything on the menu was inviting. The teas were lovely and I really enjoyed being able to select a blend of herbs for my tea mug. There was some herbal water available, and a selection of desserts on the counter and in the fridge - chocolatey delights like "snickers" bars. We found a corner next to the stage with two armchairs and a coffee table which was the coziest corner to sit and chat. Though it was Friday afternoon at lunch time and there were several other small groups, it never felt crowded and we were able to stay for a few hours enjoying our tea and meal. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, and non-intrusive. You order at the counter and then sit down, and we were not disturbed at all besides our meal being brought to us when it was ready. Parking is limited but at least they have a lot. It's a short walk into the main part of the town. They also occasionally host events. Looking forward to returning!

I enjoy that there are plenty of options to keep rotating flavors so nothing ever feels repetitive or boring. It's nice to have a place where you can mix it up instead of getting stuck ordering the same thing every time. The Purple Haze smoothie is my usual order and never disappoints -- flavorful, refreshing, and perfectly blended. I do occasionally mix it up, but I always come back to that one. Their energy bites are another standout -- satisfying a sweet craving while still being made with better-for-you ingredients. I usually keep a few in my fridge for grab-and-go energy. They also offer healthy prepared meals, which is incredibly convenient. I haven't personally tried them due to a severe gluten allergy, but friends who have enjoy them. This is primarily a grab-and-go spot, though there is minimal indoor seating if you want to stay. The staff has consistently been friendly and attentive, always acknowledging customers when they walk in. Parking tip: Westwood has metered street parking, and during peak hours it can be tough to find a spot. Even if you're running in quickly, make sure you feed the meter -- tickets are given out easily. My only real disappointment is that they discontinued the buy-10-get-1-free punch card. I was definitely bummed to see that go and would love to see some kind of rewards program return. Overall, Fitrition is a reliable local favorite for fresh shakes, snacks, and grab-and-go fuel -- it's exactly the kind of spot you're happy to keep in your rotation.

Everything is made with natural, fresh, and high quality ingredients. It's located in a plaza with a decent amount of parking. It's a small store with a bright and modern interior. They only have four tables, so it's better for grab-and-go. They have a grass wall backdrop for some photo ops. They have an open kitchen concept, so you can see them prepare the drinks and food with fresh fruits and vegetables. I've been here multiple times and my favorite items to order are the smoothies, raw juices, energy protein balls, and vegan donuts. They offer a large variety of fruits, vegetables, and superfoods for their drinks. So whether you want something spicy, sweet, tangy, tropical, or herbal... they have it all! The juices have concentrated, intense, and bold flavors. The smoothies are thick and creamy with well-balanced flavors. Both are incredibly refreshing and you can't go wrong with ordering any on the menu. The energy protein balls are a great snack - it's almost like eating raw cookie dough, but a much healthier version. The vegan donuts are a must try! I've tried both the pitaya and matcha flavors. I was disappointed that the flavors weren't strong, BUT the icing and texture made up for it. They use delicious almond and rum frosting glazed over the top. The texture is completely different from a regular donut. It's a lot more fluffy and moist, similar to a muffin or cake. Service is really a hit or miss depending on what day and time you go. Every time I come, they are busy. I guess they're so busy that they don't have time to acknowledge or greet customers. There's not much interaction except for when you place your order. You may also have to wait awhile for your order to come out. I recommend ordering ahead if you want to save time. If you sign up for their emails/texts/rewards program, they send you $5 coupons every Friday! GO RAW!!!

They have smoothies, juices, meal replacement shakes, mofongo, patacon, sandwiches, wraps, empanadas, yaroa, etc. One of the best things about this place are the very reasonable and affordable prices! They have an open kitchen so you can see them prepare everything fresh on the premises. The staff has amazing energy! Super friendly, helpful, and full of smiles. They're attentive and interactive with customers. They gave me recommendations and delicious juice samples. They also have a rewards program where you can earn points towards freebies and discounts. I've tried a few things - some are hits and some are misses. *Chinola (Passion Fruit) Juice ($3.79) - A huge miss! The passion fruit was really lacking in flavor... it wasn't intense, refreshing, or tart. I felt like I was drinking sugary water. I couldn't even finish half of the drink because it was incredibly sweet. *Mamey Smoothie ($5) with evaporated milk ($1.89) - I've always been curious about trying mamey. An employee let me sample the actual fruit before I ordered the drink, which I appreciated. She recommended mixing it with evaporated milk. The texture was very creamy with a subtle taste similar to sweet potato or pumpkin. I think the sweetness of the milk overpowered the mamey, but it was a good try regardless. I wouldn't order it again - not my type of fruit LOL *Chicken Cheese Empanada ($2.34) - I know that there's regional variations when it comes to making the ideal empanada, but I just wasn't a fan of theirs. I prefer mine baked, but theirs is deep fried. The crust was too large for the filling. It was a bit oily and soggy. The chicken wasn't seasoned very well and was dry. I expected to bite into cheesy goodness, but to my surprise, there was barely any cheese. I ordered this in the afternoon, so maybe it didn't taste as good since it was sitting out under heat lamps. *Chimichurri Sandwich with pernil ($8) & tostones ($2.75) - A decent sandwich overall. It came with warmed cabbage, onions, tropical sauce (mayo + ketchup), and your choice of protein. The bread was lightly toasted and crunchy. The pernil (roasted pork) was tender, but not as rich in flavor as I would've liked it to be. I specifically ordered this for the chimichurri sauce, which has a signature zesty, vibrant, and fresh taste.... but I did not taste it at all :( It wasn't a bad sandwich - it's just not what I expected. The tostones (fried plantains) were deep fried to perfection with a crispy and salty exterior. I could eat these ALL DAY. The food and drinks were a 3, but the friendly service and warm atmosphere bring it up to a 4. I'm willing to stop by in the future to try more smoothies or even to munch on some tostones!
