This place transports you to the country! The service is fast and it is a nice place to meet up with a friend for breakfast or lunch. The table clothes are antique and the various rolling pin decorations are delightful to see. The servings are ample and tasty and the bakery items are fresh. It is a unique place in Bergen County that I hope does not remodel to be a cookie-cutter sterile, modern, minimalist coffee shop. Worth a visit!

Located on Westwood's busy Broadway, we decided to have breakfast at this cozy establishment as a repeat performance. Reservation was easily made via Yelp for 10am. Upon arrival inside the main building of the Rolling Pin Cafe, my partner and I were greeted by the friendly staff and got a table right in front of the picturesque window. The cozy interior has characters featuring retro decorations filled with rolling pins from ages past as well as other kitchen accessories along with 6 tables. Their straightforward menu may be limited with classic comfort foods for breakfast and lunch with specials rotating weekly. We decided on the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with Fresh Fruit and Florentine (spinach and feta) Skillet Scrambled accompanied by Roasted Potatoes with added side of Turkey Bacon. Their sweet potato salad that we crave is one of the more unique side dishes one will find, which is so delicious and mouthwatering and adds to any meal we decide to take some home. Everything's made on-site, so it's remained fresh and has that genuine homemade taste with wonderful flavors, which is hard to find these days. Portions were generous and the price was reasonable. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Jeff, who was friendly and clearly working very hard, and he thanked us for helping make it possible. His staff were equally friendly and attentive, especially our server, who we didn't get his name and Gina. What a great place to sit and relax with friends or family and catch up, which we continue to recommend.

Delicious lunch was had by all. Each dish had Fresh ingredients with a variety of combinations. Salads are well sized and pack with flavor. Sandwiches were also well filled with a lovely side salad and delicious scoop of sweet potato salad. Loved that the tuna was not overly covered in mayo. Service was fantastic with friendly and attentive staff. Parking in Westwood overall can be challenging but Rolling Pin is worth it! And don't miss their freshly baked scones!

Always a delicious meal here and the portions are large enough for 2 meals! If you can't decide, get the half and half option

Solid little breakfast and lunch spot. Nothing crazy or outrageous but reliable tasty food. Small cafe in one building with larger dining room next door for larger parties. Service was wonderful.

Love Rolling Pin! Very close quarters in here no matter which of the two rooms you're in (the room to the right is more spacious) but the food is great. The ham sandwich with the onion spread and horseradish cheddar is unique and delicious, their salads are fresh and filled with great toppings, and the sweet potato salad is amazing! They have gluten free bread if you need to eat GF. Service is always quick and good too. I've had other things here such as scones, quiche, and breakfast which are all pretty good, but the ham sandwich, salads and sweet potatoes keep me coming back.

I have been to the cafe once before when it was in the original location. Now, they opened up a bigger room a couple of doors down to accommodate more guests. The atmosphere of the big room was not as homey as the restaurant two doors down. I got the pinwich sandwich, which came with soft scrambled eggs, bacon and avocado with cheese on the side. It was very yummy! I also got a raspberry iced latte with almond milk. I rarely see raspberry offered as a flavor and that is one of my favorites so was exciting. I would definitely come again!

There was plenty of room for my friends and I to enjoy breakfast this morning. Our waitress was sweet and very accommodating to our endless drink orders (as pictured. I got the Pin-wich, which was good with a little extra salt added by me after. I love that you get a salad and fruit cup, adds a sweet touch. Overall we had a good time, my pecan coffee with oat was tasty, and I will be back!

Had a lunch date with my mom here, was craving something light and yummy so we chose this place. This was my first time eating inside, usually it's a nice day in the summer but today it's pretty rainy. The inside of the place was super cute and kitchy. Just a few tables and a bakery window near the back. The place was super busy with majority of the tables taken and people doing takeout. I ordered the Chicken and Brie sandwich which came with some mixed greens and I chose a side of a pickle. The sandwich was good and had a big piece of chicken, I ate one half and it was good but the other half had a very thick piece of chicken that tasted a little off to me, so I stopped eating it. I would definitely come back and order something else off their homestyle menu.

The place is typically busy, especially packed on weekends. The drinks are pretty dang good, and unique. I've had about half the drinks on their menu now and I've enjoyed them all. Memento Mori is my current favorite, followed by Phoenix Feather. Drinks are not all super sweet or overpowering flavor wise, with a wide range of choices and varying intensities. The pastries are great too, and seem to cycle about half the offerings frequently. Their made to order menu is unique, with the Fat Bee being my regular choice. (Lavender cream, in a croissant, with a honey drizzle, lemon zest, and edible flowers) Thematic music is always playing, and it isnt so loud that you can't have a conversation. They also always seem to know what is playing if you want to listen to it later. Local artisans sell their wares that fit the vibe of the shop, with prints, hair accessories, essential oils, potions, and more; they seem to be very supportive of local creators. The walls are black, decorated with various pinned insects, flowers, and interesting small taxidermy in theme for the place. Furniture is varied and unique, along with a bar seating for 3 persons. With space for single patrons and small groups to find adequate seating assuming the location isnt packed with it being a fairly small space. This is my personal favorite coffee place (if it isnt obviousby now), and a weekly stop even though it is not on my way to other shops I frequent. Very glad they opened up, even though I'm not goth, it is easy to feel at home there. Including to my child, who adores their hot cocoa.

And rightfully so - this is a very well executed idea for a gothic coffee shop. I was trurly amazed. The line stretched across the whole shop, which spoke to its popularity. I think they were understaffed the day we visited. It was only 3 employees and once of them was a cashier which also made drinks/ food. Stood in line for about 20mins until it was our turn to order. We did not mind the wait actually. It was very bearable with the music in the background and so many things for sale to look at. Once it was our turn my partner ordered a Cemetery Dusk Latte (Tiramisu latte, chocolate ribbons, mascarpone top and chocolate power), and a pineapple danish and coconut flakes. I ordered the Deadly Nightshade (Expresso, Blackberry Vanilla Syrup, Blackberry cold foam and sage), and the Little Lad Croissant which was served with cream and berries (and had cute little flowers for decorations). The shop was packed, but yet we somehow got two seats. There are tables, green couch and red velvet armchairs with a high backs. We sat on the armchairs. Everything was so delicious. I actually gave up drinking coffee, substituting it with matcha, but I decided to make an exception for today. And boy I am glad I did! I never had more delicious coffee. And if I said I did in my previous reviews, please consider that voided haha. Overall great experience! I would definitely come back there instead of going to Starbucks when I'm in the neighborhood.

This was a gift from the father in law who is a big time coffee aficionado and who appreciates the finer coffees. Me, I grew up on Bustelo or whatever Spanish coffee was on sale. At first I did not understand the hype, but after a couple of years I began to appreciate and savor good coffee. It was very much an acquired taste that took some time. There is a process here. Flavors. Roast. Brewing. Bottom line, it is a wonderful process were the palate will enjoy the adventure. Now I am a fan of DARK SIDE OF THE MOON DOGGIE FRENCH ROAST and SUMATRA MANDHELING - GAYO MOUNTAIN. Say what........ DARK SIDE OF THE MOON DOGGIE FRENCH ROAST It is a very rich and bittersweet bean with caramel undertones. The Roast is very dark and organic. This is a very nice coffee that is a perfect finish to a meal. It will compliment your dessert or stand on its own. A very tasty coffee and sweet finish. SUMATRA MANDHELING - GAYO MOUNTAIN The Sumatra is a earthy and heavy body bean with low acidity. It has complex flavors and I feel it goes well with many after dinner drinks. My favorite is a Sambuca Romano. Roast is dark. This is one for the big boys. The website is very user friendly for ordering your favorite bean. When you compare the price of Moon Doggie Coffee to a Starbucks bought coffee the price point is very reasonable. We are talking around $17 lb. Not cheap, but it is well worth the price tag. Indulge if you like a good cup of coffee and looking for some treats...............

The Dell Coffee Co is located on Oradell's bustling Kinderkamack Road. I've driven by it so many times and finally decided to check it out. There's free street parking and a lot in the back. The atmosphere is charming, cozy, and calming. The owner did a great job with the interior design! Lots of plants, earthy tones, wooden furniture, large windows with natural lighting, pillows, and comfortable sofas. They have wifi and outlets, making it an ideal place to work, study, or read in. Seating is a bit limited - there's a communal table that fits six people, three stools at a counter, and three small sofa chairs. I visited on weekday afternoons and didn't have a problem finding a seat. The drink menu has your classic espresso beverages, tea, and cold brew. They have a food menu with sandwiches, wraps, avocado toast, and acai bowls. They also have fresh pastries to choose from like croissant cubes, scones, banana bread, and muffins. The baristas are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They have a lot of regulars here and you can tell that this is the type of coffee shop that will remember your name and order. I've tried... *Hot Salted Caramel Latte ~$6 - A creamy and comforting drink! The milk to espresso ratio was just right. The espresso was strong and went well with the richness of the caramel. It wasn't too sweet at all - flavors were well balanced and I could taste the hints of sea salt. *Churro Croissant Cube $8.50 - Highly recommend! It's a croissant in the shape of a cube. It's flaky, crispy, and coated with cinnamon and sugar on the outside. The bread was soft, airy, and buttery on the inside. I loved the contrasting textures! *Sugar Cookie Latte ~$7 (vanilla and almond infused espresso with whipped cream and holiday sprinkles on top) - This was more on the sweeter/sugary/milky side, which was fine with me. The cookie flavor was subtle. I would have liked the espresso to be stronger. *Cold Brew $4.50 - Not a fan. The brew was too bitter and tasted watered down. I added milk and sugar, but that didn't help. *Egg Salad Sandwich $10 (tomato, lettuce, egg salad on sourdough bread) - The bread had a crunchy crust with a chewy interior. It had a tangy flavor to it, which I enjoyed. The egg salad was too salty. Overall, the sandwich was decent, but not great. It's small for the price; I don't think I'd pay $10 for it again. Keep supporting your local coffee shops!

Their energy bites are another standout -- satisfying a sweet craving while still being made with better-for-you ingredients. I usually keep a few in my fridge for grab-and-go energy. They also offer healthy prepared meals, which is incredibly convenient. I haven't personally tried them due to a severe gluten allergy, but friends who have enjoy them. This is primarily a grab-and-go spot, though there is minimal indoor seating if you want to stay. The staff has consistently been friendly and attentive, always acknowledging customers when they walk in. Parking tip: Westwood has metered street parking, and during peak hours it can be tough to find a spot. Even if you're running in quickly, make sure you feed the meter -- tickets are given out easily. My only real disappointment is that they discontinued the buy-10-get-1-free punch card. I was definitely bummed to see that go and would love to see some kind of rewards program return. Overall, Fitrition is a reliable local favorite for fresh shakes, snacks, and grab-and-go fuel -- it's exactly the kind of spot you're happy to keep in your rotation.
