True to his word, he does not do the bait and switch. He charged within $20 dollars of his original quote, the only reason he added extra was because he didn't know i had vomit on the carpet and he asked if it was ok to put down a sanitizer before he steam cleaned. He is a great guy, good with kids, very friendly. I wish there were more companies like steve's. He is not an accredited BBB company but he is on their website and has an A+ rating. The only criticism I have is that the carpet smelled a little odd after it dried. I febreezed it and it seemed to go away, you can't really notice it unless you do a faceplant into the carpet. The proprietor, Steve was very nice and easy to talk to on the phone. I was at work when he came but when I got home I was thoroughly impressed with the job he did. Most recently, with all the rain we've gotten, my off white Berber carpet was embarrassingly dirty from the dogs tracking in on wet feet. He came out again today, and once again I am thoroughly impressed. He arrived on time, works alone, is very efficient (3 rooms, 2 arm charms in less than 3.5 hours). Oh yeah, and he does upholstery at the same reasonable price that he does carpeting. The more rooms you have the less expensive. I will use him again and again.
