The owner's response is not true. I did not insist on an in-person estimate. I told them I was willing to pay whatever. Also as we walked through, I specified that the "decluttering" would be done before anyone came to clean. My house is NOT a hoarding situation - it's a townhome with three adults and two small boys living in it. I was not being spiteful. I simply stated what happened. I did in fact call them based on good reviews. I would also not use this platform to ruin someone's livelihood. In two sentences I said what happened and that is that. There was no blackmailing and I wouldn't want them to do the job after my experience with the first visit. No I haven't called other companies because I haven't even gotten around to it. read more

I use their service because good rating on the yelp, unfortunately for us, they're terrible. They charge $250 for the apartment which is 900 sq feet is average price. However, not cleaning for the following area at all will be ridiculous which included baseboard, windows, window frame, bathroom vanity mirror, sweep patio floor, and celling fan in master bedroom. Also, people over the phone is not friendly at all. When I call a day ahead to remind them pay attention to certain area, he's very impatient and told me that just a small apartment. For the people who consider to use them on next time, make sure to ask them what areas will be covered for the chargers and good luck! P.S. The apartment is in Ellicott City. Well, after 30 minutes of the reviews posted, Emmanuel call me in person and offer come back to do the touch up. I'm a business person and very admire how he run his business. Just moved from the west coast and our new place really needed some extra TLC to make it our new clean, and I mean CLEAN, home. Well, the problem was that I needed it clean the next day. No time to wait. I called around and no one could guarantee me next day service. Then I called Emmanuel at Sparkletime. I had deep dark runs through my Berber carpet in the foyer and in front of the couch. I was nervous these marks would not look diminished because this isn't the first carpet cleaning I've used to rid them. Well, a fantastic job was done. He also cleaned my throw rug(s). My place looked and SMELLED fantastic. I assumed vacuuming was included but I do not think it is. He was sure to show me stains that were too hard to remove but I appreciated him pointing them out instead of sweeping things under the rug, literally. Almost 5 stars, but not quite there. Very easy to schedule a cleaning - management is friendly and professional. A minor hiccup with their team needing to reschedule my cleaning, but I wasn't in a hurry to have my home cleaned so it wasn't a major inconvenience. Staff arrived to my home in the agreed upon window and took about 3 hours to clean the entire home. All in all, I was pleased with the service but would say the service is lacking a bit of finesse to truly be five stars. I believe a bit more attention to detail for the amount of money they charge would make me a repeat customer. I'm accustomed to having nice clean carpet lines when my carpets are vacuumed - just a preference of mine, but I believe it really makes your carpets look "clean" rather than seeing a bunch of random lines all over the place. I also had to have the blinds re-dusted as it seemed only a duster was briefly passed through. Other services I've had will fold the ends of the toilet paper, neatly organize shoes in the bottom of our coat closet, etc (none of which I've had to ask for) all for much less than I paid. Would I recommend you give them a try? Sure. Will I be scheduling reoccurring cleanings? Not quite convinced just yet. read more

Wonderful business! I called after we closed on a new home. The previous owners had cats so we decided last minute to get the carpet cleaned quickly. I called SparkleTime and they were there the next day. The cleaner, Craig, was professional and courteous. More importantly, he did an excellent job. We also decided to forego cleaning the rental home. The two ladies that cleaned there were as awesome as Craig (I did not get their names). We got our full deposit back and the landlords were impressed! It was a bit more than we had previously for the same service but it was worth the extra cost. Did a move out clean for us on a 2800 sq. ft. house with unfinished basement. When only one lady showed up, I was nervous. But a little while later one more showed up. They ran a bit behind, but did a pretty thorough and careful job. Noticed a few things overlooked or not quite squeaky clean after they left, but nothing terrible. The negative reviews seem to be regarding lateness, which honestly is not a big deal to me because you never know the reason behind someone being late. They did arrive an hour late but made up for it 2 folds with how spotless the house is. They stayed as long as they needed to make sure every corner of the house was cleaned. As I wrote previously, Sparkletime did a fantastic job cleaning my house in preparation for listing it for sale. Fast forward a couple of weeks, and as I was packing up my house I got some sticky, black gunk on my carpet that left a small but very noticeable stain. I recently used Sparkletime as part of my move-out of an apartment. Firstly I was quite surprised how difficult it was to locate a cleaning company that performed both apartment cleaning and carpet cleaning so I was quite relieved to find Sparkletime which was able to perform both services. They were on-time and very professional (I was actually the one late). I enjoyed the constant communication/flexibility in the event schedules needed to be changed. Once they were done, it looked as if I had never lived in the apartment...shower, fridge, stove etc...all were sparkling clean hence their name :). And the price was quite fair when compared to other companies ($250 less) I plan on using them moving forward for all my cleaning needs and will be recommending them to my family/friends. The honest reason for this exhaustive search was because I was hesitant to have a "stranger" in my home. After much consideration, I called Emmanuel of Sparkletime and spoke with him regarding the services needed in my home. After our initial discussion, we agreed upon a price, date and time. In July 2015, two of his employees arrived to commence residential cleaning in my home. They were friendly and kind. I showed them the home and after their walk thru, they immediately began to clean.
