I couldn't have been more pleased with the work that Eric did for us. In December my son brought himself and his cat, Mr. Banks, home to live with me. I love them both, but by April, the cat dander and the heavy oak tree pollen had me wheezing and sneezing. Eric cleaned and sanitized the wall to wall carpeting, the couch and the rocking chair which Mr. Banks had claimed as his own. Eric was on time, explained everything to me, honored my request not to use any chemical deodorizer, and worked diligently the whole time he was here. Greatly impressed with Sanitize4Serenity service!!!! Eric responded quickly to my msg on Yelp. followed up with an appointment time in my time-frame and arrived to do the job on time. His equipment was amazing, but not nearly as amazing as his thorough approach to the job. He explained how he handled badly stained carpet, his sanitizing process. He worked hard for several hours (it was whole house cleaning) and when finished, cleaned up after his work. Highly recommend this company. Very responsive and knowledgeable. He came out to view the property, let us know in detail what was going to happen and executed the plan. The previous owners had pets and after the first day of duct and vent cleaning, the air felt so much cleaner in the house. We also had the hardwood floors and carpet cleaned and the amount of invisible pet hair he was able to get up was absolutely amazing. The floors looked great when he was finished. When we turned on our heat last weekend my eyes immediately began itching, nose running, and throat itching. The joys of being in the top 1% of allergic people. Finally put 2 and 2 together that my allergies were coming through our ductwork. Looked through Yelp and sanitize 4 serenity had the most and best reviews! Other places had quotes so ridiculously low I was pretty sure they didn't know what it truly meant to clean our ducts. They came yesterday around 10 and left at 6:30. Unfortunately, we had an awful experience of Air BnB'ing out our family home for 6 weeks and the "tenants" absolutely trashed the carpeting! We have never even worn shoes inside of our home as we were never allowed. There is a sign saying, "to please remove your shoes" and it is written in our listing that shoes inside of the home are not permitted. These "tenants" not only had to have worn shoes inside, but they squirt an oily substance all over the master bedroom flooring, the hallway, the steps, everywhere!! Whatever they did, it looked to be very intentional?! All I can say is despite this awful Experience, Eric did a PHENOMENAL job today getting the stains out of our carpeting! He sent me "before and after" photos, as well as a video of him emptying all of the dirty water that he had extracted from the carpeting. He texted when he was on his way, throughout the visit and sent me pictures on my cross-country drive, keeping me in the loop with every single thing that he was doing! If I could give this business 10 stars I would. Eric is a true professional. We talked about what we needed done to the carpets in out basement over the phone the day before he arrived. He was honest and upfront about all costs associated with the work being performed. He absolutely saved us a great deal of money by deep cleaning 2 rooms in our basement along with 2 hallways. The carpet looks as good as the day we moved in. He even followed up with us a few days later to make sure we were satisfied with his work. We will not hesitate to do business with Eric again. They did excellent work. Knew what needed to be done and made twenty year old carpet look great.

Setting up an appointment was easy. I called and one of the secretaries took some information down and also asked if I had a Groupon (which I did). Later that day, Eric (owner) called and asked me questions about my carpet as well as to schedule a date for him to come over. He sent me a text the day before to confirm the appointment. Eric came a bit late because a previous client wanted him to clean more than he initially asked so he apologized. Because he was late, he said he would clean the closet and hallway of my apartment. He's very friendly and a true professional. You can ask him questions about carpet and cleaning and he can elaborate on the technical details. The carpet looked better than it was when I moved into be frank. However, be careful of red/pink stains on your carpet caused by something like red wine, soda, or Kool-Aid. Those require special treatment and Eric told me that they're incredibly tough to remove permanently so advanced notice is required. They're tough enough to remove that you will need to sign a waiver in case the carpet becomes damage from removing them. Personally, I thought he did good enough on removing the discoloration (it's not too noticeable unless you really scrutinized) without using the special equipment. Oh and I should mention that the carpet dries fairly quickly. Probably about thirty minutes to an hour, which is a lot less compared to the cleaning my apartment complex did before. Give Eric and his Sanitize 4 Serenity a go, there are Groupon and Living Social deals that pop up from time to time. You will be thankful you did. read more

This review may strike the casual reader as odd, because I have given S4S five stars despite relatively unsuccessful results. When I explain the challenge I gave Eric, I think you will understand how his professionalism and dedication warrants five stars, without question. Many of us are devoted to our dogs and cats. They are members of the family, and when they are ill, we feel for them, attending to them as best as we can, with veterinary care, medications, special diets, and more. Whatever they may need, to become well again. So it was with my sister's 13 year old dog, Tessa, in her new home in Baltimore. Tessa was struggling with a gastro-intestinal problem, and a possible neurological issue as well. I visited Baltimore to house-sit for my sister, as she and her son were scheduled to travel, and Tessa had become ill shortly before their departure. I found Tessa had soiled the hardwood floor in the living room, the wool Berber carpeting in my niece's bedroom, and the sisal stair runner on the first floor. In all three locations, her waste had dried in place. Toward the end of my visit, she also soiled my nephew's bedroom, however, I was able to tackle this problem before it dried, which made a huge difference in the outcome of Eric's work. Eric cleaned the entire area of my niece's bedroom, including the adjacent family room with a large Oriental carpet on top of the Berber wall to wall carpeting. He did a fantastic job, although, in the end, he could not remove a small, lightly shaded spot where the bulk of the soiling had occurred. Considering the waste had dried in place, this result was the absolute best that could be achieved. He sanitized the hardwood flooring of the living room after I had removed the dried waste, and he cleaned my nephew's bedroom thoroughly, after my amateurish attempts to clean the spots with Nature's Miracle. His work in my nephew's bedroom met with complete success. Now we come to the sisal stair runner. Sisal is a natural fiber similar to jute. It's produced in East Africa and woven into various products that deliver a tough and durable function, like carpeting for stairs. Eric made two attempts, roughly two hours in the first attempt, and four hours in the second attempt, to get the stains out of the sisal. It was simply impossible to clean, having soaked into the fibers and dried in place. Eric's frustration and disappointment was palpable. He was soaked in sweat from the battle with the stains, but he finally admitted defeat, and said the stains could not be removed. He discounted his labor because of the unsuccessful results. How many tradespeople would be so dedicated and professional? He earned my respect many times over with his efforts and commitment to the task. I recommend Eric for your carpet, upholstery, and curtain cleaning needs. He is a man of character, with complete commitment to your satisfaction. I also recommend you think carefully before buying anything made out of sisal. read more

This service was great. The guy I spoke with was the owner and we scheduled a time. I had the house on a lockbox so he showed up and did the work, then I went to check it out when it was complete and hand him a check. He managed to get eyeliner that one of my tenants smeared all over the carpet, out of the carpet, and make the disaster look considerably better. I was impressed that it could look that good again and had thought I possibly needed to replace it. He explained to me that his basic cleaning got most stains out, but if it did not, he would let me know, and that would cost additional. Since I wasn't present, I was a tad nervous he would say it needed the additional service, but he was honest and told me that his first cleaning process did the trick. It was as if I was disrupting her day by asking to give her company business. I asked about an estimate and she said "some things can't be priced unseen." So I asked if I should schedule an estimate in person and she acted like she had never heard of such a thing.
