My beloved gold bangle was in need of polishing and regroving of the lines etched in. 3. I wanted a custom made Cross & bead gold bracelet that I had I my mind. Nobody makes them. Lastly I had a bag of gold rings to sell. I wanted to say that EVERY EMPLOYEE was beyond polite and professional. They listened to every one of my 'ask's' and immediately said yes. They told me to give them a couple of days on the design for the new bracelet for my approval. When I received their ideas, it was exactly what I wanted. A week later my bangle and my bracelet were shortened perfectly. Two weeks later my cross bracelet arrived. Unfortunately, I damaged the clasp the first week. The damage was completely due to MY misuse. Not their skill. (I am EXTREMELY HARD ON JEWELRY) We took it back in to be repaired. I just picked it up. They put on a heavy duty clasp at my request. I went to pay and they didn't charge me. Now THAT's customer service!! We will be back. Thank you all for your assistance

She worked with my vision to create a beautiful ring with a lower setting. Then the second ring (wedding band) also custom. She worked again very closely with me again to make the vision come to life while once again using an heirloom diamond. The attention to detail and responsiveness from them is amazing. For such high quality their price point was perfect for our budget. Will continue to use them forever!

I have used these guys for simple things like battery's and resizing rings etc. Never had an issue…read moreand team was always pleasant and competent. I collect unusual timepieces, but I just figured you need to have them service by high end Jewlers like - well lets not name names So my most recent experiences. A Omega Marine chronometer - very obscure piece. I take it to a high end jeweler They send it to Zurich because there the only ones who can work on it. about a year and $400 later I have a new battery which promptly lasts 6 months. So I take it to fast fix and say "doubt you can work on this" Watch guy says I have heard of this but never worked on one let me take a look. So off to Perrys for lunch. 40 minutes later your Omega is done. You opted for the lifetime battery thats $70 . This watch only runs 5-6 month at a time. Brought it in recently as it was dead again. Lunch at Perry's and its working - new battery - no charge. So watch number 2 a 20 year old Rado made of synthetic sapphire/ceramic composite. I manage to break the custom clasp messing with it myself. Tiny parts fly across the room disappearing in my carpet for eternity. Off to two high end Jewlers. - We wont touch that send it to Rado in Switzerland. Be prepared for a huge bill. So on a whim I take it to FF and say what about this? This thing obviously spooked them as they are extremely hard to work on without damaging the bracelet that can cost in the 4 digits to replace. So I say take a look and f you can fix it go for it - entire staff sees this as a challenge. People are looking at it under microscopes to figure out how the original clasped worked. Gauntlet down - back to Perrys. I get a call 90 minutes later well we managed to repair it but we want to make sure your good with the cost of doing so. I as quoted a very reasonable figure that was an order of magnitude less than Rado. Whats shocking is there are no stock parts for this watch. They literally manufactured a tiny compression spring/rod with sub millimeter precision. Why? Because its a interesting piece and we appreciate your enthusiasm for fine watches and a challenge too. To people who say batteries cost a buck why is it so much. Well the sutures the surgeon put in cost a few cents plus some plasma anesthetic etc. Why was a transplant $300000 because there's years of training, supplies electricity, building a hospital and paying its staff. I feel like I got a surgical team on my watch complete with tiny instruments, microscopes, laser cutters and well trained personnel. Do the math - in my case it was WELL worth it. I cant vouch for other locations but I found the service here epic

The honestly wasted my time. I dropped my watch off a week ago to have a few dial markers…read morereattached and the watch itself repaired. Only the dial markers were reattached, and now there is no longer time to have the watch repaired before I need to wear it for an event. I could have had it repaired elsewhere in the same amount of time if they had let me know it would not be possible to repair it while it was in their possession. I'm honestly super upset to come back to pay for my watch to be repaired and learn that it still doesn't work. I didn't assume that keeping time was part of the service, I specifically asked for it to be able to keep time as part of the work order. No one called me, no one communicated that this would not be done. Instead they just played with my watch while real professionals could have been repairing it. Very upsetting.

I brought in a bracelet and a ring to this store. For the bracelet I wanted the clasp replaced…read more They told me the price, I approved it, I thought all was well. I went to pick up the bracelet and I didn't get my old clasp back. The staff acted like I was insane for wanting my gold clasp back and told me it was "baked into the price". I was told over a week ago they would try to get it back for me though it was likely "destroyed" by the jeweler but haven't heard a word from them. I've never had jewelry repaired or replaced before and not received my original items back. The ring I brought in for a quote and was a family heirloom. Due to a miscommunication, the jeweler did the work without getting my approval, not understanding I only wanted a quote at the moment. When the store called me to tell me what happened they told me it would be over $600. When I declined to pay that as I only wanted a quote, they called me back the next day and offered to "meet me in the middle" and I pay half. I again decline. Ultimately they did the right thing and didn't charge me. I do want to say the work done was beautiful but they kept the gold clasp from my bracelet and made changes to an heirloom piece of jewelry I wasn't yet ready to change without my approval. I will not be trusting them with any of my jewelry in the future.

Wow, this place is just a disaster. I've had a watch in for a simple repair, and it's been a…read moremonth. The first visit, I was told "leave it with me overnight and I'll call you." A WEEK later, *I* called *him*. I was told the watch needed a part and that he could order and repair "in 7-10 days". After fourteen days, *I* called *him* and was told the part had just arrived and the watch would be done by the weekend (4 days away). No call. I called him the following Tuesday and was told it was ready. I said I would be in on Thursday to pick up the watch. Come Thursday, I got a phone message that he would be closing early for personal reasons. My time is EXTREMELY limited and I wouldn't be able to try to pick up again until the following Tuesday (today). I pulled up at 3 pm or so and the store was closed, no note, just a phone number. I was so annoyed! Well there was a woman parked nearby who called out to me, asking me if I had reason to believe the guy would be showing up. I said no, no reason except that these were normal business hours. She went on to tell me her story, very similar to mine. But while I'd left a relatively inexpensive watch in this guy's care, she had left jewels with him for re-setting. After a huge number of delays, she asked him for her jewels back and he begged for more time. She was there in person at the store and asked just to SEE her jewels, and he said "no." !!!!!! She threatened to call the police and again he begged for time. He eventually stopped taking her calls. The reason she was there today was because she's going to insist on getting her jewels back. You can imagine her irritation that the guy wasn't there. She also stated that he wasn't answering at the posted phone number; she believes she is being screened. So I called him right then and there, and he answered. He said he was taking his daughter to the orthodontist and that he'd be busy until 7 PM. Um?? The guy did apologize to me and he said he is going to discount the fee by half to make up for the inconvenience. But this is just so utterly ridiculous and unacceptable. Incidentally, the other gal who was there waiting for him called the police and was waiting for their arrival. She was going to report that her jewels have been stolen. I wish I could have stayed to see the outcome but I had other errands to run. Now we'll see what happens when I try AGAIN to pick up my watch. Edit: Now months later, the watch still doesn't work and I've taken it to a new place. The new place has said that the movement was not replaced and that it was "full of debris." The guy at Madelyn's said he put a new movement in it and charged me therefor. His phone is now disconnected.

The engraving was supposed to be the title of the song played at our wedding ceremony. The owner not only abbreviated the song title without permission..it now says "stay 4 evr" inside both of our rings...but when he put my wedding ring in his cleaning machine it removed part of the metal finishing around the band...so he painted it back on with something that washed off immediately after I got home. Don't trust this place...he does a half-a**ed job and if your pieces have any meaning to you or are very valuable, take them somewhere else. This guy ruined our wedding rings...and my husband left before I had any time to fix the screw up.
