Here is my service request. 5th one gone unanswered and the managers lie about giving credits. Thanks for upcharging me when I haven't had service in 5 weeks. You can tell how bad you are via the fact you do not allow google reviews. I haven't had trash pickup for 5 weeks. I was supposed to get a credit, instead you billed my $10 over my regular pick up charge and I am mad. You guys suck. What kind of business are you charging for services not even rendered. I've sent in messages and talked to managers and you don't care. You are a lousy money hungry company and do not even care about the customers that pay the paychecks of the people that work there. worst company, worst trash removal service we've experience, and we've moved around a bit. They keep not picking up our trash or our neighbors trash and the neighbors down the street even. We canceled a while ago and I can't even get them to come and pick up their bin. I wish I could leave them nnegative stars. If you have any other option , go with another service and save yourself some trouble - I like having my trash picked up when it's scheduled to be picked up, by who is scheduled to be picked up by, they have missed /skipped picking up our trash that was set out the night before the day it's supposed to go, three times, and each time I called tried to placate me by using the word "escalated", it's laughable, but I am fed up and sick and tired of waiting for them to just pick up their stupid bin. read more

I have repeatedly called Rumpke to have the trash picked up at house I own in Seymour, IN. This has happened 5 weeks in a 8 week period. I have left voicemails and I have also called the customer service number. Last week they told me they would pick up previous missed WEEKS of trash on Wednesday and then come back on Thursday and do another pick up. They didn't come either of the 2 days they promised and this picture was taken on Thursday night. I called again Thursday night and got the same run around as I did earlier in the week and previous months. I am going to switch service to Best Way. If I could give Rumpke negative stars I would because they have the absolute worst customer service. read more

It is with sadness that I leave a negative review on this business. When I originally signed up service was great but gor whatever reason it no longer is. I have a dumpster rental with rumpke. I was last serviced, meaning trash picked up March 8 2022. Since then I have managed to fill my dumpster and store at last count 6 almost 7 lawn and leaf teash bags in my side room. Why would I do this you ask????? Simple no matter how many times I call I keep hearing, we will be there to pick it up. Heard that up until yesterday, that's April 12 2022. Almost a full month of no service. Finally said got some answers, my driveway was a problem. Fixed what issue they had, sent video of the fix. Guess what, even the sales manager can't get them to come pick up the trash. If you want reliable trash service, this isn't it. Finally had to tell them I would haul the dumpster down the drive myself and leave it in the road so they better get out here and get it. Supposedly it is leaving tomorrow. The good Lord only knows if that is actually gonna happen. Save yourself the frustration of calling, because they won't be proactive. One of the worst businesses I have ever dealt with. When my contract was near the end Rumpke forged the service start date which extended my contract another year. Two years later it's still not resolved. I can't imagine how a business even functions like this. I even sent them all of their invoices and proof of payment - all matching the contract. The math is pretty simple. I had Ray's trash service for years and never had any kind of problem. I promise any trash service is better than Rumpke, please don't make the same mistake I did. Btw, the driver was nice, but he quit. He said they were terrible to work for. read more

There are a lot of Waste & Recycling companies from which to choose, and I have used most of them at one time or another. I thought they were all alike until I found Rumpke. We've used them for nearly a years now and I a completely satisfied with their service. We have had a couple of special requests and they have accommodated with no hassle. I highly recommend them! read more

If I could give less than one star I would. We have not had our dumpster emptied for a month. Every time we call they have excuse after excuse. The dumpster is overflowing and we have run out of places to put the trash. If you have another option for trash pickup I would go with it. This company is HORRIBLE. read more

Worst service and experience ever. First our trash was ignored, then 1 week later after they promised daily to pick it up we had to fire them. It then took 4 1/2 weeks to pick up the empty trash can and when I watched the person load it up she left a note stating it was not there and we would be charged! Our refund has yet to be released and multiple phone calls calls were handle by customer service staff refusing to let me speak to the supervisor about our complaint and service. I have had service from Rumpke of Indiana, 1950 Tellman Rd, Columbus, In, for a number of years. They have always been very good about picking up my trash, and on occasion when I put it out too late, they've picked it up on a later trip. I have NEVER had anyone with their company who was not very friendly and courteous. - I recently called them for another service and spoke with Claudius Williams. She was very professional and kind and took care of my request promptly. I would recommend this location to anyone. read more
